Dealing With Tres Family Young Master

Before confronting his enemy, Ryker decided to hide the dragon princess, not wanting to hold back because of her presence. He put her inside a cave before blocking the pathway.

He apologized to both the princess and the dragon spirit for treating the princess like that but he unfortunately didn't have much of a choice. With who knows how many enemies out there, making sure she isn't found is the best option.

After hiding her, Ryker released his divine sense, trying to find the young master first. He easily sensed him, along with two protectors at the Genesis Condensing Realm. He decided to save the group for last, leaving to hunt down the rest of the people the young master had with him.

"Do you sense something?" one of the protectors asked, feeling like something powerful just watched over them.

"It's probably some wild beast. Let's get the young master further away for now. We could always check back when the beast leaves," the other protector replied, the first one nodding before leaving.

Unbeknownst to all the human in the range, the mistake will cost them all of their lives.

"Seriously! We had been in this mountain for 4 days straight! And we didn't spot a single person coming down! We should get back to the city already!" one of the mercenaries for hire grumbled.

He had been paid handsomely, but with nothing to do but watch over one area, he quickly found himself bored. He even wished for there to be beasts coming down the hill, at least there would be some action.

"Stop complaining, we already get our paid upfront. If we can hold for another 3 days, we will get about double the amount of what we made in the last three months," his friend replied, used to the first mercenary lack of patience.

Even though he was getting bored from the lack of action, the only reason he soldiered on was that they were paid more money than what they could make in half a year. If it means starting at a forest for one week straight he's going to do it.

"Yeah, but at le-. Wait, I hear something," the first mercenary exclaimed, his hand raised as he looked at his surroundings, looking for any sign of the potential threat.

The second mercenary also assumed a fighting pose, looking back and forth as he covered the first one, not wanting to lose someone due to carelessness. A few minutes passed as the duo maintained their formation, knowing just because nothing showed up, didn't mean the danger already left.

It might come to stalk them and attack them when their guards were lowered so being vigilant would have their life. As they scanned their perimeters with apprehension, they heard a thud behind them.

The two mercs turned around to see a head rolling toward them. The head made them pale, not because of the blood, but because it belonged to someone they knew.

"That's the old man! How did he die?!" one of them yelled, though, while they didn't expect any answer, they did get it this time.

"It's because I killed him, and others surrounding the ranges," a voice can be heard from the darkness, before a figure emerged from it, the shadow seemingly embracing him.

As the moonlight shined, the two mercs could see the person's face before their face lit up in recognition, for it belonged to the one that the young master who hired them wanted to kill.

"It's you," one of the mercs barely called out before he lost his head, the cut part bursting in blood before the body fell.

The remaining merc backed off, feeling fearful as he watched his ally get killed so easily. The young man merely looked at him, breaking the final straw as he ran away in horror, hoping it would be enough to get away from the monster.

Ryker looked at the direction the merc ran to before throwing a pebble in that direction. An explosion was heard as blood seemed to burst from the direction. Ryker walked away, the only group remaining was the young master's group.

"You bring this to yourself. If you did nothing, I wouldn't do this," he muttered to himself, heading towards where he spotted the young master.

"Have any other groups answered yet?" the young master asked, a worried look etched on his face.

"Not yet young master. It's likely something went wrong or they would have answered half an hour ago," the one in charge of the communication replied, his words affirming his worries.

"If they don't answer, it's likely they already die. If not, they would have sent some message," one of the protectors said, agreeing with the communication specialist.

"What should we do young master?" the other protector asked. While he was stronger than the young master, the young master was the one in charge. Besides, the patriarch had ordered them to obey the young master while reporting what he had done, using the expedition as a way to assess the heir.

"Hmm. We going to their place. Even if they die, we should at least get the confirmation. It would leave a bad taste in my mouth if we leave them and one of them is just injured," he said, before ordering his men to move.

However, before they could head towards the first nearby group, a chuckle stopped them.

"Don't worry, they are all dead. I make sure of it," the origin of the chuckle said, throwing several heads to the ground in front of the young master.

The young master, whose experience with blood is non-existent, almost throws up, great self-control being the reason he didn't release his stomach content.

"Who are you and why do you kill my men?" the young master asked, able to recover from the gruesome sight.

"Hmm. I wonder. What do you do? Did you do something to me? Oh, right! You trying to kill me!" the figure yelled, the hidden face could be clearly seen under the moonlight.

The young master quickly recognized the person. The one man he wished to kill for denying what he wanted.

"It's you!" he yelled, his face red from fury. Before Ryker could reply, the young master ordered, "Get him!" the two protectors leaped forward, each pulling their weapon, a whip, and a spear as they lunged toward him.

Ryker easily blocked them, his cultivation at the 8th Stage Genesis Condensing is far superior to their both 6th and 5th Stage. Not to mention he is a monster who could fight the early stage of Genesis Foundation realm expert to a standstill.

The only reason is to see if he could get used to fighting at the Genesis Condensing realm. As time went by, the young master's triumphant expression shifted to worry as the battle didn't go as he planned.

The young man didn't even look tired while his men struggled to keep up with his offense. His other men tried to take a shot at him but with how fast the three of them move, it's likely the shooter will commit a friendly fire.

Before he could say anything else, one of the protector's heads was cut while the other had their right arm blown to pieces. Seeing how his men would lose, he ran away, his men following suit but a powerful pressure pressed him, though he escaped lightly as the others were killed by the pressure from the fountain of blood happening next to him.

The young man walked towards him, his last man being dragged by him as the young man gave him a frightening smile.
