Dealing With Luren Family

 After accepting the two women into the Hidden Ancient Mansion, Ryker knew he needed some way to ensure they would not divulge the secret of the spatial artifact. He was not sure of how he could achieve this aside from putting some restrictions on them.

 Thankfully, they did not make any fuss about it, accepting it as a price they needed to pay for them to be able to live in the mansion. And for that, he was grateful for them both.

 After putting some restrictions on them, he pondered over his next destination. While he was not sure of where their next stop should be, the best way to know about the surrounding area was to go to the city and they had two guides.

 He would only bring out Myna though, as the servant would likely be less remembered compared to Eris, who is a member of the Luren Family, a Great Family of the County they currently at.

 "Looks like that is all we need," he told Myna, who nodded at him. He had brought the servant there too also bought some clothes for both of the women. Being the servant girl of Eris, she knew of her body size, allowing her to buy the correct size clothing for her.

 After buying the necessary stuff, they were about to leave when they heard a commotion. Ryker planned to ignore it when he heard, "The Luren Family somehow able to kill the Terror of the Sky!"

 "How?! Not even the Count could do something like that and he was the strongest expert of the County!"

 "I am not sure. My best bet is the beast was still injured from the fight a century ago and the Luren Family found it healing,"

 "That makes sense. But still, to kill the Terror, they would still receive some recognition from the Count and would likely receive a lot of reward from him,"

 "I wish I could be so lucky,"

 "Yeah! You will die when the beast sneezes at you!"

 It took a lot of self-control for Ryker to slap his own head for his stupidity. To think he would forget of the beast he had slaughtered, easily of course but that is not the point.

 He signed, planning to ignore it as it was not related to him and he would not stay there for the night. However, as he was about to check on another store for some items, a person with blue hair, surrounded by guards showed up. 

 The whole market when silent as they clearly recognize the man. As Ryker was not from the County, he did not know of the young man but Myna did.

 "That is the eldest son of the Luren Family and the younger cousin of Miss Eris," Myna whispered to Ryker, who nodded nonchalantly.

 "The young master of the Luren Family is going to buy some trinkets. Everyone that is not a shopkeeper is ordered to leave!" one of the guards told the people at the market.

 "Bah! They killed one beast and then want the entire family to be treated like important people,"

 "This is not their city, why can they order such a thing?"

 "Hateful, the Luren Family is hateful,"

 Despite their grumblings, the patrons all left the market, aside from two people of course.

 "Do you think this would look good on Ina?"

 "You mean the brown-haired woman? Then I think she would like it very much. As for it looking good, she needed to wear it herself if we wanted to see if it looked good on her or not,"

 As both Ryker and Myna converse over different accessories he planned to buy for his lovers as gifts, the blue-haired man stomped towards them.

 "You dare oppose the Luren Family! I hope you are ready to be punished for doing such a thing!" he turned and looked at Myna.

 "But, if you give me this woman, then I would look past your wrongdoing," his hand drifted towards Myna's shoulder before it was grasped by Ryker's who glared at the man.

 'Crack'

 "Argh!" the man screamed as his wrist was crushed by Ryker, who looked like he had just stepped on a bug. 

 Seeing their charges being beaten up by someone, the guards released their cultivation at the Genesis Source realm, intending to beat the man.

 10 seconds later, they were thrown away like trash, crashing into the ground and landing in a heap of bodies. Ryker rolled his eyes. If he let one of the trash actually hit him, he will prostate at them for being capable of doing such a thing.

 "Let us go," with the man ruining his mood, Ryker planned on leaving the place but before he could do that, a powerful aura fell on him. For Ryker, it might just be a breeze for someone like Myna, she was nearly crushed and forced to kneel to withstand the pressure.

 Ryker decided to change his plan at this very moment. While Myna is not his woman, he will not force her to become his, she is still someone who is part of his group, making her fall under the banner of people he will protect.

 When the Genesis Lake expert of the Luren Family decides to cause trouble for her, well, he is going to make them regret it dearly.

 "You should consider yourself lucky, if it is one of my women, then I would kill you right here and there. But still, I am going to beat you up," he whispered, glaring at the source.

 Covering Myna with his qi, Ryker unleashed almost his full power, enough to equal a Genesis Sea expert.

 "What is that qi?"

 "Does the County have such a powerful expert in its territory?"

 "When did such a powerful expert enter the city?"

 "T-this qi, this is something a Genesis Sea expert could unleash!"

 In different parts of the city, the most powerful experts of the County sensed the powerful qi. The sheer might of it shocked them, causing them to tremble in fear. They knew they would not stand a chance if the expert made a move on them.

 However, the one that suffered the most was the Luren Family expert and one of the 2 remaining Genesis Lake experts. He was forced to bear the brunt of the terrifying aura and would have been killed if not for Ryker holding back, somewhat.

 Still, the experience shook him, and he planned to run away, knowing he would not stand a chance against such an expert. Yet, before he could do such a thing, the being appeared in front of him, looking like a vengeful god.
