When he exited the hideout, to his surprise, it was already dark, half an hour after sunset. Not wanting to waste any time, he called the rabbit. The rabbit, being ordered to remain at the surface in case he missed any bandits jumped towards him.

He looked at the rabbit's paw, a red liquid suspiciously dripping from it. 'It looks like my guess is right, there are bandits patrolling the area,' he let out his divine sense, spotting 3 corpses. Not seeing any living bandits, he decided to give up.

After all, the mission only asked for the death of the leader, the other bandits just being bonus kills. He then ran towards the city, not intending to wait until the curfew was over.

"Halt! Who goes there?!" the guard asked, stopping him from entering.

Ryker showed them his adventure badge. The guard looked at it before nodding, allowing him entry.

"You lucky, if you were late by 10 more minutes, you have to stay outside, being an adventurer or not," the guard commented.

Ryker let out a sigh of relief, almost slumping from exhaustion. He had pushed his qi and body to get to the city in the fastest time possible, a great decision if he had to say it to himself.

Walking towards the Adventure Guild, he saw people still present though most of them were staff, with some adventurers remaining.

He walked towards the receptionist before asking for the huge man. The huge man arrived and looked at him in disappointment.

"You shouldn't-" Before he could say anything else, Ryker threw him his storage ring, the man looked at it suspiciously before his eyes widened in shock.

"You actua-" Ryker stopped him the second time, throwing another storage ring. Already seeing what was inside the first one, the man quickly concluded he couldn't believe it. He decided to check it if he was wrong. To his surprise, he was right.

"Go to the training area, and take a rest there, I'm going to talk to some people," he ordered Ryker, who tiredly nodded.

Going to the training area, Ryker decided to lay his back on the wall, resting from his run to the city. He must dozed off as he was woken by the huge man.

"This is the captain who led the hunt of the bandits, and the only person to see the Shadow Bandit," he introduced Ryker to a man in armor, his face set to a permanent scowl.

"You better have a good reason to call me," the man growled.

The supervisor didn't say anything, just throwing the storage ring back to Ryker, who pulled the only intact corpse.

"What does this young-" anything he was about to say died in his mouth as the Shadow Bandit's corpse was out in front of his eyes.

"How?" the man uttered, shocked beyond words.

"This young man decided to go pick the two hardest missions, and he completed them both," the supervisor said.

"Oh, he must be both lucky and strong. The other mission should be the Rock Bear hunt right?" the scowling man said, having entered and seen some of the mission posted. In fact, he thought those two missions should be considered A-Grade missions due to how some 3 diamond adventurers died trying to complete them.

"Yes, but he accepted the mission today, and finished it today," the supervisor dropped a huge bombshell, making the guard look at Ryker like he had grown two heads.

"Young man, would you like to join the city guard?" the guard suddenly offered.

Ryker looked at the man with tired shock while the adventurer supervisor just glared at him.

"He's already a part of the Adventure Guild. So don't even think about it. Besides, he is not a local, am I right?" Ryker's nod confirmed the statement.

"Huh, to miss a potential gem like him. Well, I confirmed that the corpse belonged to the Shadow Bandit. What about his underlings? Have you finished them too?" the guard asked.

In return, Ryker pulled a head out of the storage ring, "There are 32 heads inside, all belonging to their group, also, I would like to inform you about something I found," he then told them about the corpse, of how he believes that it was the reason why the bandit group become such a menace, and what he did to it.

The captain and supervisor looked at him with a complicated gaze, before letting a sigh, "It was your opportunity. You not only found them, you also eliminated this hidden threat. So we not going to do anything about it. Everything you get from the mission would all be yours, as it should be," the supervisor declared, the captain nodding.

Ryker let out a sigh of relief. As much as he likes to not tell them about it, there would be some questions he won't be able to answer. Besides, telling the existence of such a thing might make the two to trust him more.

"Oh right, here are your rewards. For the Rock Bear mission, you will get 5 gold pieces for completing it, plus 12 gold pieces for the extra Rock Bear. For the bandit extermination mission, you will get 10 gold pieces, plus an extra 13 gold pieces for compensation, on the account the information is incorrect, and the fact you tell us a piece of important information made it 40 gold pieces.

For the points, due to having completed missions that should be put in the A-grade but lowered to allow more people to join in, your rank will be raised to 3 diamonds plus 10,000 points for completing it.

You could exchange the points for something useful but you have to wait until morning then,"

"I'm going to return to my inn, I'm going to rest for the night, maybe tomorrow too. So don't wait for me okay," Ryker said before he left the two, both men looked speechless as he left them just like that.

"He must be exhausted, finishing two A-grade missions in one day, he probably sleeps when he sees a bed," the guard commented, the supervisor nodding in agreement, the two parted ways as they had their duty.

Ryker arrived at the inn in the middle of the night. He entered his room, before, as the guard predicted, fell on it. Scooching like a caterpillar, he slowly reached Ina's side, his arm hugging her as his face buried itself in her neck.

Sensing the person hugging her, Ina makes herself comfortable, the two sleeping with Ryker spooning Ina.
