Luo mei has spent straight 6 days in cold water each night doing cultivation but she still wasnt able to move them.She felt frustrated but still she kept on going. Today it was the seventh day. As she was again sitting in cold water crosslegged she felt something.Generally she can feel that spiritual energy is a pure and light small particles around her in environment. But today she felt that as if they have a conscience.

Her body jerked in surprise.She tried to connect to them but still nothing happened. In frustration she mumbelled" you all are damm fat thats why i cant move you all. humph."

As if protesting against her words the particles shooked. Luo mei's eyes widen. She never expected that these particles will response due to insult. So she simply started cursing them. Each time she cursed, these particles shooked as if expressing their anger.

Well its only our luo mei who can get response from spiritual energy by cursing them. As nobody ever felt that spiritual energy around them are actually light and pure particles that they cant see. And moreover these particles seems to contain conscience.If people will come to know this fact they simply even wont believe.

Luo mei cursed the particles for full an hour before stopping the war of words. She then concenterated her mind on the particles before saying" Why all of you dont move?"

She thought that anyway she can feel a conscience so why not try talking. To her surprise she heard a voice in her mind" You are doing things wrongly! hmph you skinny girl."

The voice in her mind doesnt seems to be from one person but it is like thousand of people speaking in unison but the voice is like they are mumbling. She hurridely replied in mind" well can you tell what i am doing wrong?"

The voices didnt spoke for a minute but then they sounded surprised as they spoke" How how can you hear us?"

Luo mei laughed in her mind as she said narcissistcally" because i am special cant you see!"

The voices replied as if they are rolling their eyes" what a narcissist! But how are you able to hear us? Can you see us?"

Luo mei then said in a proud tone" yea i can see you. You all look like grains of sparky sand.I dont know how i am able to hear you all. Maybe because i felt that you all have conscience."

The voices then said" No wonder!"

Luo mei then asked" Can you tell me what wrong i am doing?"

The voices were silent for a moment before they spoke" Considering you are the first who spoke to us, we will tell you. You can see us so you are thinking us as individuals rather than simply a form of energy. But if you think as one and then direct it towards you it can help."

Luo mei thought for a moment before nodding. Thats right she saw these particles as individuals.She then thought of something then she asked" What happend when i will absorb you?? Will your conscience die?"

Actually luo mei felt that absorbing them might lead to death. The voices were silent then she heard them laughing" Girl you was the first who can hear us. For others we simply are nothing but energy. When we get absorbed we become part of the person until the person lives. When the person dies we will be back to nature like always."

Luo mei then said" You are right. Energy is conservative. Dammit i never thought the cultivation is related to science! By the way when you becone the part of a person do you all loose consience?"

The voices then spoke" No we dont! The people just never realised anything about us."

Luo mei then replied" okay then i am going to absorb you all. Lets talk when you are inside me."

The voices sneered" You arent even able to move us!"

Luo mei indignitaly replied" Hmph thats because i was doing it wrong. I am pretty talented."

After which luo mei concenterated on the particles and thought of them as current of water. She then thought of the water as a stream flowing towards her. To her surprise the particles started merging which each other forming a clear stream shining brightly. Then the stream which was like a single thread width flowed towards her.

Luo mei felt extreme happiness on her success. The first step was compelete. Now the second step to absorb them through a certain accupoint.There were 361 accupoints and luo mei clearly knows their every position. She directed the thread of water towards every accupoint one by one. But as if they were being blocked they cant enter. Finally at zhongfu accupoint the stream of thread like water entered her body.

Luo mei felt as if her body became light and warm. She then directed the thread of spiritual energy in her body to various places. She tried her dantian too but it simply seems that energy cant be kept there. She furrowed her brows. Generally the dantian will store energy so why cant it? She tried many places and at last decided towards her heart. The thread of spiritual energy entered her heart and instead of staying simply vanished.

Luo mei got starteled. She tried to find them but couldnt. She can feel them. She then heard voices" girl we are there in you. You couldnt store us in your dantian and other places. We dont particularly understand where you have stored us. IF you keep on absorbing for some days, we think you will be able to see us in you and the place where you stored us."

Luo mei nodded and then she said" okay spirit babies i will cultivate hard and find you all!"

Then the voices angrily said" What spirit babies?"

Luo mei laughed" I gave you all a name idiots!"

Her spirit babies hummphed angrily before saying" Why not something heroic? why this babies!!"

luo mei grumbeled" I like it. I wont change it!"

Both didnt spoke further but just hummphed.

Finally on the seventh night luo mei successfully cultivated. She did the training as usual without any weakness. She seems to be getting used to the training and enjoying it. In this one week she didnt talked much always squatting in a corner and thinking of ways to cultivate properly. Now the problem is solved so she felt her mind at ease.

And due to that she noticed that food's quality is actually a bit bad. She knew that the soldiers themselves cook the food. Those who knew to cook a bit always cook their food. Rest help in other jobs. Today instead of squatting in a corner she went to the area where cooking is done. She saw a man in 30's sitting and ordering a bunch of people to do works properly. He was covered with sweat. Making food for 500 people is a very big job and tiresome too.

She then noticed brother heng and the naughty youth named brother lian cutting onions while tears rolled down their eyes. She laughed in her heart on seeing them like this. She then saw the man in 30's whome everyone is calling brother ki, scolding brother heng and brother lian for cutting big pieces of onions. Those two only bowed as they listened in grievance.

Brother heng noticed luo mei so he spoke" Mei mei come here! This is brother ki! Incharge of our kitchen and our fellow comrade."

Brother ki glared" What incharge of kitchen! You all simply dont know to cook!"

Luo mei chuckeled as she said" Brothet ki let me help you up!"

Brother ki's eyes sparkeled" Mei mei do you know to cook food? I thought you are only 14 so maybe you wont know."

Mei mei said in an assuring voice" Brother ki dont worry. I can cook delicious food. Give me a try!"

Brother ki said in a supporting tone" Ok i will give you a try! Actually we all tried once, and i was the only one who could cook edibile foods. so they dumped the work on me!"

Mei mei laughed" Then rest assured brother ki."

Mei mei then looked through the ingredients. There were chicken, potato, rice, tomatoes,some leafy vegetables and various spices available. Luo mei folded her sleeves as she said" Brother ki chop chicken in small pieces. Brother heng peel potatoes and carrot. Brother lian go wash the rice at once."

Her tone was commanding so unconsciouslly the three replied in unison" Yes." After replying they felt embarrassed to be intimidated by a 14 year old brat so they hurried forward to do their job respectively.

Luo mei did everything in a precise way. Even giving works to other and managing them. The men who were helping out today were amazed. And when she started making the food a thick scent of food drifted all over the training ground. The men who were doing other jobs sniffed like dogs and walked unconsciously towards the kitchen area. Withing some minutes the area was filled by 500 people who were all squatting on ground and greedily looking towards the pot.

Brother ki almost laughed out loud on seeing their behaviour. But noone felt ashamed of their own childish behaviour. Its been many months since they ate good food. And moreover the smell of food today was 100 times better to any delicious food they ate so far. When the men saw luo mei cooking and the other three brothers following her command they were astonished. In the first week they only saw her being silent. So they thought that she is not fond of speaking. But today she is showing variety of expressions and even shouting.They felt amused on seeing a 14 year old brat shouting the three adult men.

Luo mei today decided to make rice, chicken curry and fried vegetables. When she was done she felt great. Brother ki who noticed the delicious dish was moved to tears. Everyone present imnediately were ready for their serving. When people ate their first bite they felt they are in heaven.

And thats how luo mei's friendship with these soldiers started. Infuture they will be her family and deared ones. But now she has no idea that it was the day when she accepted these soldiers as friends.
