A week had passed since Arishem's ominous visit to Mars, and the Diamond Authority was abuzz with activity. The red planet's landscape continued to transform, crystalline structures sprouting like geometric flowers across its surface. In the heart of their burgeoning empire, White Diamond's children were each embarking on their own crucial missions.
In a vast, holographic training arena, Blue Diamond stood with her eyes closed, her flowing form radiating a soft, cerulean glow. Around her, projections of various alien species flickered in and out of existence, each emanating a different emotional state.
"Focus, Blue." White Diamond's voice rang out from an observation platform above. "Feel their emotions, but do not let them overwhelm you. You must learn to navigate the sea of feelings without drowning in it."
Blue's brow furrowed in concentration. Slowly, she raised her hands, and the emotional auras of the projections began to shift. A creature radiating anger gradually calmed, while another exuding fear found courage. It was a delicate balance, requiring both empathy and control.
"Very good." White nodded approvingly. "Remember, your ability to influence emotions is a powerful tool, but it must be wielded with wisdom and restraint. In diplomacy, understanding is often more crucial than manipulation, especially when dealing with beings that may be able to detect it."
Blue opened her eyes, her gaze filled with a mixture of determination and concern. "I understand, Mother. But isn't there a risk that this power could be used to harm or deceive?"
White descended from the platform, her towering form graceful despite its size. "All power carries that risk, my empathetic child. It is the wielder who determines whether it becomes a force for good or ill. Your innate compassion is your greatest safeguard against misuse."
As they discussed the ethical implications of Blue's abilities, a commotion from a nearby chamber drew their attention. The sounds of energy blasts and shouted commands echoed through the corridors.
"Ah," White said, a hint of amusement in her voice. "It seems your sister's training methods are somewhat... louder than our own."
In a vast military hangar, Yellow Diamond stood tall, her form crackling with energy as she oversaw the training of the Diamond Authority's first generation of Quartz soldiers. Holographic enemies swarmed around the gems, who fought with varying degrees of success.
"No, no, NO!" Yellow's voice boomed across the chamber. "You're leaving your flanks exposed. A real enemy would have shattered you ten times over by now. Again!"
As the simulation reset, Blue and White entered the hangar. Yellow turned to them, her expression a mix of frustration and determination.
"Mother, Blue," she nodded in greeting. "I apologize for the disturbance. These Quartzs show promise, but they lack discipline and tactical awareness."
Blue looked at the panting, exhausted gems with sympathy. "Perhaps they just need time, Yellow. Not everyone can master combat as quickly as you."
Yellow's eyes narrowed slightly. "We don't have the luxury of time, Blue. The universe is vast and often hostile, as Mother has told us. We must be prepared to defend ourselves."
"Both of you make valid points." White interjected, her voice calm but authoritative. "Yellow, your drive for perfection is admirable, but remember that growth often requires patience. And Blue, while compassion is a strength, we must also be ready to face the harsher realities of our existence."
The sisters exchanged glances, a silent acknowledgment of their differing perspectives passing between them. It was a dynamic that White observed with interest – Yellow's militant efficiency balanced by Blue's empathetic diplomacy.
"Now then." White continued, "Yellow, I have a new task for you, in addition to your military training duties. I want you to begin research into the concept of alternate dimensions."
Yellow's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Alternate dimensions, Mother? May I ask why?"
White's gaze turned distant, as if looking beyond the confines of their Martian home. "Arishem's visit has made it clear that our presence in this universe is... complicated. Establishing a base in another dimension could provide us with security and opportunities we might not find in this space."
Blue's eyes widened with curiosity. "Another dimension? That sounds fascinating. But wouldn't that isolate us from the beings of this universe?"
"Not necessarily." White replied. "It would be a sanctuary, a fall-back position if you will. Yet it will also give us a place to expand without dealing with the powerful beings on Earth growing to wary of us. But we would still maintain our presence here. In fact, Blue, this relates to your next assignment."
Blue straightened, giving her mother her full attention.
"I'm sending you on a diplomatic mission to Asgard," White announced.
Yellow looked shocked. "Asgard? Mother, is that wise? They're one of the most powerful realms in this universe."
White nodded. "Precisely why we need to establish a relationship with them. Blue's empathic abilities make her the ideal envoy. She can gauge their true intentions and hopefully lay the groundwork for peaceful coexistence."
Blue's expression was a mix of excitement and apprehension. "I'll do my best, Mother. What should I expect?"
"Asgard is currently ruled by Odin All-Father." White explained. "His daughter, Hela, is the Crown Princess. Be cautious – Asgardians are proud and powerful. Show respect, but do not let them intimidate you. Remember, you represent our entire Authority."
As the sisters absorbed this information, Brown Diamond entered the hangar, his arms full of holographic schematics.
"Mother." he greeted, nodding to his sisters. "I've made some breakthroughs in our technology. I believe I've found a way to improve our space travel capabilities and enhance our defensive systems."
White's eyes gleamed with approval. "Excellent work, my pragmatic son. Your innovations will be crucial in the times to come."
She turned to address all three of her children. "Each of you has a vital role to play in our future. Yellow, your strength and tactical mind will protect us. Blue, your empathy and diplomatic skills will help us navigate relationships with other powers. And Brown, your technological advancements will ensure our progress and security."
The siblings exchanged glances, each feeling the weight of their responsibilities.
"Now," White continued, "let's discuss the details of your missions. We have much to prepare for, and the cosmos waits for no one – not even Diamonds."
The four then began a quick meeting, with it delving into the dangers that each of their missions would have to deal with.

Odin stood alone on the balcony of his great hall in Asgard, his single eye gazing out over the gleaming city. His brow furrowed as he contemplated the machinations of Those Who Sit Above In The Shadows. Their manipulation of the cycles of Ragnarok had become increasingly apparent to him due to the fact they now did it far more frequently, and he yearned to break free from their influence.
"There must be a way," he muttered to himself, his fingers tightening around Gungnir. "A path that leads beyond their grand design."
As he pondered this cosmic conundrum, his thoughts shifted to a more immediate concern. Blue Diamond of the Diamond Authority would soon arrive for a diplomatic visit. Odin weighed the potential outcomes of their meeting.
"If our talks go well," he mused, "we could forge an alliance that might tip the scales against Those Who Sit Above. But if things sour..." He shook his head, imagining the chaos that could ensue if he and White Diamond, a being even he felt a threat from, were to clash.
But, his eye then seemed to see something that was nonexistent, with him closing it before opening it again, his eye no longer clouded with the important topics he just thought of, signaling a change in who was in control of the Allfather.

As the Diamond family concluded their strategic meeting, each member set off to fulfill their assigned tasks. Blue Diamond, her form shimmering with nervous energy, prepared for her journey to Asgard. Yellow retreated to her newly established research laboratory, while Brown immersed himself in his workshop, surrounded by holographic schematics and prototype devices.
Blue stood before a massive mirror in her personal chambers, adjusting her flowing gown and checking her appearance one last time. White Diamond materialized behind her, their reflections side by side in the polished surface.
"Remember, my child." White said, her voice soft but firm, "You carry the dignity of our entire Authority with you. Asgard is a realm of warriors and gods, but you are a Diamond. You need not be subservient, only diplomatic."
Blue nodded, taking a deep breath to steady herself. "I understand, Mother. I'll make you proud."
White's expression softened almost imperceptibly. "You already do, Blue. Now, are you ready?"
With a wave of White's hand, a shimmering portal opened before them. Through it, Blue could see glimpses of a golden city floating amidst the stars. Asgard, in all its mythical glory, awaited.
"Go now," White said, gently urging Blue forward. "And remember, we are always with you."
Blue stepped through the portal, her form dissolving into light as she was transported across the vast expanse of space.
Meanwhile, in her laboratory, Yellow Diamond pored over ancient texts and holographic displays of cosmic phenomena. Her research into alternate dimensions had led her down a rabbit hole of theoretical physics and metaphysical concepts that challenged even her brilliant mind.
"Fascinating," she muttered to herself, manipulating a 3D model of what appeared to be a tear in the fabric of space-time. "If we could stabilize a dimensional rift, we might be able to create a pocket universe entirely under our control."
As she worked, a squad of Peridots scurried about, taking notes and running complex calculations at her command. Yellow's eyes narrowed as she focused on a particularly challenging equation.
"This variable here." she pointed, addressing a nervous-looking Peridot, "It represents the quantum fluctuations at the edge of our universe. If we can harness that energy, we might be able to punch through to another dimension without disrupting the cosmic balance of this one."
The Peridot nodded enthusiastically, its fingers flying over a holographic keyboard as it incorporated Yellow's insights into their models.
Elsewhere in the Martian complex, Brown Diamond stood surrounded by a dizzying array of machinery and prototype weapons. His latest project – a device capable of neutralizing magical energies – sat half-assembled on a workbench before him.
"Increase power to the nullification matrix." he commanded a team of Bismuths. "We need to be able to counteract even the most potent mystical forces."
As the Bismuths hurried to comply, Brown's mind raced with possibilities. Magic, he had discovered, was simply a form of energy manipulation that operated outside the normal laws of physics. If they could understand it, they could defend against it – and perhaps even harness it for themselves.
A series of sharp beeps from a nearby console drew Brown's attention. It was a message from Yellow, requesting his input on her dimensional research. With a thoughtful frown, Brown set aside his current project and made his way to his sister's laboratory.
As her siblings worked tirelessly on Mars, Blue Diamond materialized on the Rainbow Bridge of Asgard. The sight that greeted her was breathtaking – a shimmering pathway stretching across the cosmos, leading to a golden city that seemed to defy the very laws of nature.
At the end of the bridge stood Heimdall, the all-seeing guardian of Asgard. His golden eyes fixed on Blue, seeing not just her physical form but the very essence of her being.
"Greetings, Diamond of Mars," Heimdall's deep voice resonated with ancient power. "Asgard has been expecting you."
Blue bowed her head respectfully. "Thank you for receiving me, Guardian Heimdall. I come in peace, seeking audience with the All-Father and the Crown Princess."
Heimdall nodded, his expression unreadable. "Follow me. They await you in the throne room."
As Blue walked through the streets of Asgard, she couldn't help but marvel at the blend of advanced technology and mystical energy that permeated every aspect of the realm. Asgardians stopped to stare at her, their emotions a swirling mix of curiosity, awe, and wariness that Blue could sense keenly.
Finally, they arrived at the grand doors of the throne room. Heimdall announced her presence, and the massive portals swung open, revealing a sight that took even Blue's breath away.
Odin All-Father sat upon his golden throne, Gungnir in hand, his one eye gleaming with cosmic wisdom. Beside him stood Hela, the Crown Princess, her form radiating dark power and deadly grace. The contrast between father and daughter was stark – Odin, the benevolent ruler, and Hela, the goddess of death.
Blue approached the throne, her every movement a careful balance of confidence and respect. As she reached the foot of the dais, she inclined her head in a formal bow.
"All-Father Odin, Crown Princess Hela," Blue's voice carried clearly through the vast chamber. "I bring greetings from the Diamond Authority of Mars. We seek to establish peaceful relations between our realms."
Odin leaned forward, his eye scrutinizing Blue with an intensity that seemed to pierce through to her very core. "I had the pleasure of fighting alongside your sister and meeting your Mother, Diamond of Mars. New to our universe, yet wielding power that rivals the cosmic forces. Tell me, why should Asgard trust in your peaceful intentions?"
Blue felt a surge of emotions from both Odin and Hela – curiosity, suspicion, and a hint of fear beneath it all that did not quite belong to them. But Odin seemed to have another emotion buried beneath even that: Hope. Drawing upon her training, she kept her own emotions in check as she responded.
"Great Odin, we understand your caution. We are indeed new to this cosmos, and our power is considerable. But we seek not conquest or destruction, only a place to call home and the opportunity to contribute positively to this universe."
Hela stepped forward, her voice sharp and challenging. "Pretty words, but words are useless. What proof can you offer of your so-called peaceful intentions?"
Blue turned to face the Crown Princess, her empathic abilities sensing the swirling darkness within Hela. It took all of her willpower not to recoil from the intensity of it.
"Princess Hela, actions speak louder than words, as I believe the saying goes in this realm. We offer an exchange of knowledge and culture. Let Asgardian emissaries visit our Homeworld, see our works for themselves. In return, we hope to learn from your ancient wisdom and perhaps find ways our abilities might complement each other in maintaining cosmic balance."
Odin stroked his beard thoughtfully, while Hela's eyes narrowed, a predatory gleam in their depths. Blue could sense the subtle shift in the room's emotional atmosphere – intrigue was beginning to outweigh suspicion.
As the diplomatic dance continued in Asgard, back on Mars, Yellow and Brown Diamond had combined their efforts, their brilliant minds working in tandem to unlock the secrets of interdimensional travel.
"If we align the quantum harmonics just so." Yellow mused, manipulating a complex holographic model, "We might be able to create a stable wormhole to an alternate dimension."
Brown nodded, his eyes scanning rapidly over streams of data. "Yes, but we'd need an enormous amount of energy to maintain it. Perhaps if we could harness the power of a dying star..."
Their discussion was interrupted by a soft chime – a communication from White Diamond. The matriarch's luminous form appeared before them, her expression serious.
"My brilliant children." White began, "I have news from our deep space probes. It seems the cosmic forces are shifting. The Celestials are on the move, and whispers of ancient prophecies are spreading through the galaxy."
Yellow and Brown exchanged concerned glances. "What does this mean for us, Mother?" Yellow asked.
White's gaze was distant, as if seeing far beyond the confines of their Martian home. "It means, my dears, that our window of opportunity may be closing. We must accelerate our plans. Yellow, your dimensional research is now our top priority. Brown, I need you to focus on defensive technologies. We must be prepared for any events."
As her children absorbed this news, White's thoughts turned to Blue, hoping her empathetic daughter was faring well in the halls of Asgard. The coming cosmic storm would test them all, and they would need every alliance, every scrap of knowledge they could gather.
Back in Asgard's throne room, Blue Diamond was making progress. Her genuine empathy and diplomatic skill had begun to thaw even Hela's icy demeanor, while Odin seemed increasingly intrigued by the possibilities an alliance with the Diamonds might offer.
"Your proposal has merit, Blue Diamond." Odin said at last. "We will consider your offer of cultural exchange. But know this – any hint of betrayal or aggression towards Asgard or its allies will be met with the full might of our realm."
Blue bowed deeply. "We understand and respect your caution, All-Father. We look forward to building a relationship of trust and mutual benefit."
As the formal audience concluded, Hela approached Blue, her dark eyes glittering with curiosity. "Tell me, Diamond." she said in a low voice, "What's it like, being born of crystal rather than flesh? To have power thrumming through your very being from the moment of your creation?"
Blue considered her words carefully, sensing the complex emotions roiling beneath Hela's composed exterior. "It is... both a blessing and a burden, Princess Hela. We are born with purpose, with power, yes. But we must also find our own path, our own identity within the roles we are given."
Hela's lips curved in a small, almost wistful smile. "Perhaps we are not so different, you and I. Both born to power, both carrying the weight of our people's future on our shoulders."
As they conversed, Blue began to see beneath Hela's fearsome exterior, sensing the loneliness and the desperate need for validation that drove the Crown Princess. It was a revelation that both saddened and alarmed her, for she could sense the potential for great good or terrible destruction in Hela's future.
Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of a young, golden-haired prince – Baldur, Blue realized, recognizing him from her mother's briefings. The future God of Light looked at Blue with wide-eyed wonder.
"Are you really made of living crystal?" Baldur asked, his youthful curiosity overriding any sense of decorum.
Blue couldn't help but smile at the young prince's enthusiasm. "In a manner of speaking, yes. Though our forms are more complex than simple crystal."
As she interacted with the Asgardian royals, Blue felt a growing sense of connection to this realm of gods and warriors. Yet beneath it all, there was an undercurrent of tension, of cosmic forces aligning in ways she couldn't quite grasp.
Meanwhile, on Mars, White Diamond stood atop the highest spire of their crystalline city, her gaze fixed on the stars. She could feel it – the subtle shifts in the cosmic tapestry, the whispers of change carried on solar winds.
"My children." she murmured to herself, "I hope you're ready for what's to come. The game is changing, and we must change with it."
As if in response to her words, a shooting star blazed across the Martian sky – a harbinger, perhaps, of the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for the Diamond Authority.
~
In the vast expanse of the cosmos, two entities of immense power converged. The Phoenix Force, a shard of cosmic fire embodying life and creation, faced Eternity, the very personification of the universe itself. Their meeting was not a physical one, for beings of their nature transcended such mundane concepts. Instead, it was a convergence of cosmic awareness, a dialogue that spanned galaxies.
The Phoenix spoke first, its voice resonating across countless stars. "Eternity, I come with news of an anomaly. A being of immense power has entered our realm, one whose very existence defies the natural order."
Eternity's response rippled through the fabric of space-time. "I am aware of disturbances in the cosmic tapestry, Phoenix. But the specifics elude me. This should not be possible. What can you tell me of this intruder?"
"She calls herself White Diamond." the Phoenix explained. "A being of crystalline perfection and immense power. Her arrival has sent ripples through reality that even I, in this limited form, can sense. She does not belong here, yet here she is."
Eternity pondered this, causing galaxies to shift in contemplation. "This is... concerning. The boundaries between realities should be inviolate. I know of no force that could breach them so completely to the point that even I am unaware, unless it is one of the Multiversal1 Abstracts."
Eternity's form expanded, encompassing entire galactic superclusters. "I must consult with Infinity. If these beings truly originate from beyond our known reality, Infinity may hold the answers we seek."
The Phoenix flared again, its cosmic fire momentarily outshining the collective light of a billion galaxies. "And if Infinity knows not? What then, Eternity?"
"Then the Tribunal will act if he feels that the balance has been disrupted. It is just that simple." Eternity said.
The Phoenix flared, its cosmic fire illuminating the darkness between stars. "This is not a matter to be left to chance, Eternity. The presence of such a being could upset the balance we strive to maintain. Even now, I can feel the universe straining to accommodate her existence. Her mere existence has resulted in the change of fixed paths and events that were needed for the Universe."
"And yet." Eternity countered, its voice calm as the void yet powerful as a supernova, "Our intervention may cause more harm than good. We are custodians of this reality, Phoenix. Our actions have consequences that echo through eternity. Perhaps you are letting your personal feelings, or those of your current host, get in the way of your logical decisions."
The Phoenix's flame pulsed with frustration. "Inaction has consequences too. If we allow this anomaly to remain unchecked, who knows what damage may result? Even in this fractional form, I possess the power to expel her from our reality."
Eternity's presence seemed to expand, encompassing countless galaxies in its awareness. "And in doing so, you risk tearing the very fabric of our universe, opening the gates to beings worse than her. No, Phoenix. We must observe and understand before we act. The power we wield is too great for rash decisions."
"You speak of caution." the Phoenix retorted, "But I have seen the fall of countless civilizations, the birth and death of entire species. Sometimes, action is necessary to preserve the greater whole."
Eternity's response was measured, yet carried the weight of eons. "Yet, I have witnessed the rise and fall of entire Firmaments multiple times. Our power, great as it is, comes with responsibility. A battle between beings such as us and whatever brought this White Diamond to our reality could unravel the very laws of physics. And you are merely a shard of the greater bird. Acting now would be foolish. Especially if we do not know if this was the actions of One of the Endless, the One Below, or the One Above."
The Phoenix flared again, but its anger was tempered by wisdom, as if suppressing it's human host. "You are right, of course. We are beyond petty squabbles. But we cannot ignore the potential consequences of this intrusion."
"Indeed," Eternity agreed. "We shall watch, and we shall wait. If this White Diamond proves to be a threat to the cosmic balance, then we shall act. But until then, let us see how the tapestry of reality adapts to this new thread."
As their cosmic dialogue came to an end, both entities knew that their decision would shape the fate of trillions of lives. The Phoenix, even in its limited form, had the power to remake entire solar systems. Eternity, the living embodiment of the universe, could alter the very laws of reality with a thought. Yet both understood the weight of their power and the responsibility it entailed. And even worse, they understood who they would answer to if they broke those duties.
The conversation ended, but its echoes would resonate through the cosmos for eons to come. The arrival of White Diamond had set in motion events that even these cosmic entities could not fully foresee. All they could do now was watch, wait, and be prepared to act if the delicate balance of the universe was threatened.
~
Days had passed since Blue Diamond was sent on her diplomatic mission to Asgard, and the atmosphere on Mars was one of cautious optimism. The atmosphere was clearing at a faster rate than initially hypothesized, and the newest batch of Gems were already undergoing their training to find their purpose. White Diamond sat upon her crystalline throne, her luminous form glowing as she theorized hundreds of plans in mere milliseconds. The events of the past week had been promising, yet she couldn't shake the feeling that Murphy's Law seemed to enjoy interrupting her peaceful development, as if everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
As if summoned by her thoughts, a shimmer of dark energy materialized before her. White's eyes narrowed, her gem pulsing with defensive energy as a figure emerged from the shadows. Tall, red-skinned, with eyes that gleamed with infernal intelligence – White recognized him instantly from the memories of her past life.
Mephistopheles, the Lord of Hell.
The demon lord bowed with exaggerated courtesy, a smile that was equal parts charm and malice playing across his features. "My dear White Diamond," he purred, his voice smooth as silk yet laced with hidden barbs. "How delightful to finally make your acquaintance. I've been watching your... emergence with great interest."
White remained seated, her expression impassive. "Mephisto," she acknowledged, her voice cool and controlled. "To what do I owe the... pleasure of this visit?"
Mephisto's smile widened, revealing teeth that seemed just a bit too sharp. "Why, merely to extend a hand of friendship, of course. One ruler to another. It's not often that a new power emerges in this cosmos, especially one as... intriguing as yourself and your children."
White's eyes narrowed imperceptibly. She knew better that the trust the words of the Devil. He was a being that would twist even the simplest of deals into a new and twisted plan rather than be straightforward. Due to her nature, she could sense the layers of deceit in Mephisto's words, the hidden agendas lurking beneath his veneer of cordiality. "How thoughtful." she replied, her tone neutral. "Though I find it curious that a lord of Hell would travel so far merely for a social call."
Mephisto chuckled, a sound that sent chills through the gems standing guard around the throne room. "Ah, but you undersell yourself, my dear. You and your Diamond Authority are the talk of the cosmic circles. A new empire, born of crystal and light, wielding power that rivals the oldest forces in the universe. How could I resist the opportunity to see for myself?"
As he spoke, Mephisto began to pace, his cloven hooves clicking against the crystalline floor. White watched him, her mind racing. She knew of Mephisto's reputation – the deals he offered, the souls he claimed. Every word from his lips was a potential trap.
"We appreciate your... interest," White said carefully. "But as I'm sure you're aware, we are still establishing ourselves in this cosmos. We have no desire to entangle ourselves in the affairs of Hell or any other realm at this time."
Mephisto's eyes glittered with amusement. "Oh, but my dear White Diamond, I'm afraid entanglement is inevitable. You've already made quite the splash – assisting the Avengers, negotiating with Asgard. The cosmic powers are watching, weighing, judging. Your every move is scrutinized. It's only a matter of time before you're drawn into the greater game."
White felt a flicker of irritation. This was not the first time a cosmic entity had come to her domain, thinly veiling threats behind diplomatic niceties. First Agamotto and the Phoenix, then Arishem, now Mephisto – it seemed the universe was determined to test her patience.
"Is that a threat, Lord Mephisto?" White asked, her voice taking on a dangerous edge.
Mephisto held up his hands in a gesture of mock innocence. "A threat? Not at all, my dear. Merely an observation. This universe can be so... volatile. Allies can be useful in navigating its treacherous waters. I could be such an ally, you know. For a small price, of course."
It was at that moment that something inside White Diamond snapped. The constant intrusions, the thinly veiled threats, the attempts to manipulate her and her family – she had endured enough.
White rose from her throne, her form seeming to grow larger, more imposing. The very air around her crackled with energy, and the crystalline structures of her palace began to resonate, emitting a high, clear tone that grew in intensity. The sheer power made her seem akin to Light itself, with the space around her trembling due to the vast amount of energy she possessed.
Mephisto's smile faltered for the first time as he sensed the shift in White's demeanor. The playful malice in his eyes was replaced by a flicker of genuine concern.
"Lord Mephisto," White's voice rang out, each word laden with power. "I have tolerated your presence out of diplomatic courtesy. But let me be perfectly clear – I have no interest in your games, your deals, or your so-called alliance."
The ground beneath them began to tremble, the vibrations spreading across the Martian landscape. White descended from the throne, each step sending ripples of energy through the floor. Mephisto, for perhaps the first time in eons, found himself taking an involuntary step back.
"You speak of the cosmic powers watching us," White continued, her eyes blazing with inner light. "Let them watch. Let them see that we are not pawns to be manipulated, not pieces to be played in their ancient games. I have seen eons that make even the oldest beings seem like infants. I am not some toddler that is just learning to wield their power. I am White Diamond, a Primordial Entity that transcends mere concepts like Life or Death. I exist as a being born to rule what I want. I have seen the Big Bang and helped it grow. I have observed the heat death that accompanies the end of all. I have seen the end of existence and simply smiled as it struggled to take me. No mere Entity frightens me."
As White's power surged, its effects rippled across the cosmos.
On Earth, in his Sanctum Sanctorum, Agamotto's eyes snapped open, the Eye around his neck pulsing with mystical energy. He could feel the waves of power emanating from White Diamond, a force that rivaled even the most potent magical energies he had encountered.
"By Oshtur," he murmured, his hands weaving complex gestures as he attempted to shield Earth from the psychic backlash.

On Mount Olympus, Zeus paused in mid-sentence, his beard crackling with electricity as he sensed the disturbance. The other Olympians fell silent, watching their king with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension.
"Father?" Athena ventured. "What troubles you?"
Zeus's eyes were distant, focused on something beyond the realm of mortals. "That new power rises, the one that Apollo spoke of." he said, his voice rumbling like distant thunder. "One that may shake the very foundations of our world. Looks like even the Fates have things they can not control." Zeus gained a slight smirk at the last statement as he peered into the realm where Mars was.

In the heart of a blazing star 2 Star Systems away from Sol System, the Phoenix Force stirred, its cosmic awareness drawn to the surge of energy from Mars. It recognized the signature – White Diamond, the anomaly, the wild card in the cosmic deck. The Phoenix's fiery wings spread wide, prepared to intervene with this ~abomination~ if it threatened the balance of the universe.

In the desert sands of ancient Egypt, Ra, the sun god, paused in his eternal journey across the sky. His falcon eyes turned towards the red planet, narrowing as he sensed the clash of titans occurring there. The power radiating from Mars was unlike anything he had felt in millennia – not since the days when the Old Gods walked freely among mortals.

Across the world in Takamagahara, Amaterasu emerged from her celestial cave, her radiant beauty illuminating the sacred mountain. She had felt the tremors in the cosmic web, a disturbance that reached even her secluded realm. Her serene features creased with concern as she gazed towards the heavens, sensing the birth of a new cosmic order.

In completely separate realms, all three members of the Trimurti opened their eyes, with them feeling the sheer power of a new force resonating across Dimensional spaces.

In the golden halls of Asgard, Blue Diamond stood beside Odin on a grand balcony overlooking the eternal realm. Their diplomatic discussions had been progressing well, a tentative understanding forming between the ancient god-king and the newly-born cosmic entity.
Suddenly, a wave of energy washed over them both, causing the very fabric of reality to shudder. Blue gasped, her form flickering momentarily as she recognized the source of the power.
"Mother," she whispered, her eyes wide with a mixture of awe and concern.
Odin gripped Gungnir tightly, his one eye narrowing as he gazed out into the cosmos. "Your matriarch's power is... considerable." he said, his voice a low rumble. "I have not felt such a disturbance since the days of my father, Bor."
Blue turned to face the All-Father, her expression a mixture of pride and apprehension. "I... I've never felt her unleash her full strength like this before. Something must have provoked her."
Odin stroked his beard thoughtfully. "Indeed. The question is, what could have stirred White Diamond to such a display?" He turned his penetrating gaze to Blue. "You understand, young one, that this changes things. The cosmic balance is delicate, and your mother has just announced her presence to every major power in the universe."
Blue nodded solemnly. "I understand, All-Father. But please believe me when I say that we seek no conflict. We only wish to establish our place in this cosmos, to survive and thrive alongside the other great powers."
Odin's expression softened slightly. "I believe you, Blue Diamond. Your sincerity is evident. But intentions, no matter how noble, do not always align with consequences. Your mother's display of power will not go unnoticed or unchallenged."
"What do you think will happen now?" Blue asked, unable to keep a note of worry from her voice.
Odin sighed, suddenly looking every bit his thousands of years. "War, alliance, subjugation - all are possibilities when a new power emerges. Some will seek to test your strength, others to court your favor. And some..." he paused, his eye distant, "some will see you as a threat to be eliminated."
Blue's form shimmered with emotion. "But surely, if we demonstrate our peaceful intentions-"
"Peace." Odin interrupted gently, "Is a luxury often afforded only to the strongest. Your mother seems to understand this. You must learn to, Young Diamond. This display was as much a warning as it was a demonstration."
They stood in silence for a moment, both contemplating the implications of White Diamond's actions. The cosmic chess board had been upended, and the pieces were still falling into new positions.
"What would you advise, All-Father?" Blue asked finally, her voice small but determined.
Odin turned to her, his expression grave but not unkind. "Be prepared. Strengthen your defenses, but do not neglect your diplomatic efforts. And above all, stand united. The cosmos can be unforgiving to those who show weakness or division."
Blue nodded, straightening her posture. "Thank you for your wisdom, Odin All-Father. I shall convey your words to my mother and siblings."

Back on Mars, White Diamond stood before Mephisto, her aura a blinding nimbus of power. The demon lord's usual smirk had been replaced by a look of wary respect.
"I will say this only once," White declared, her voice resonating with authority that transcended the physical realm. "Mars is our domain. The Diamond Authority is not a piece in your infernal schemes. You will leave this planet, and you will not return. Should you choose to ignore this warning, be assured that I will not hesitate to venture into the depths of Hell itself to deal with you personally. Death will be a mercy after I am done with you."
Mephisto's eyes widened, a mixture of fear and excitement dancing in their depths. "My, my," he said, his voice a touch less confident than before. "You are full of surprises, aren't you? Very well, White Diamond. I shall take my leave... for now. But know this – Hell's gates are always open to you. Should you ever wish to... renegotiate."
With a flourish of his cape, Mephisto began to fade, his form dissolving into shadows. But before he fully disappeared, he added with a wink, "I'll be sure to roll out the red carpet for you, should you decide to pay us a visit."
As the last wisps of Mephisto's presence vanished, White Diamond remained standing, her power still radiating in palpable waves. She turned her gaze towards the blue planet hanging in the Martian sky – Earth, the nexus of so much cosmic attention.
The tremors across Mars began to subside, but the impact of White's display of power continued to ripple across the cosmos. In their various realms, the minor Cosmic Entities, Dimensional Entities, and ancient gods contemplated this new player on the universal stage. Some with curiosity, others with apprehension, but all with the understanding that the cosmic balance had shifted irrevocably.
White Diamond, for her part, felt a mix of satisfaction and weariness. She had made her stance clear, but she knew this was only the beginning. The game was growing more complex, the stakes higher than ever before.
As the Martian night fell, White gazed out over her crystalline empire. Her children would be returning soon – Blue from her diplomatic mission, Yellow and Brown from their respective research projects. They would need to be prepared for what was to come.
The cosmos had witnessed the true power of the Diamonds, and there would no longer be threats to her that she would accept.
Because she was White Diamond.
And that was her decree.
