The Golden Guardian part 2

Sentry/Tyler/Void POV:

The Void is one of the most dangerous and infamous beings in the Marvel universe. Almost everyone is scared of it. It could kill gods and break every bone in the Hulk's body.

I'm manifesting a tiny amount of the Void on the palm of my hand after I sense its power within my body. It's a tiny black sphere with a red aura around it.

I can feel the powerful energy this small piece of the void generates, more than enough to rip this galaxy to pieces. But I don't sense any sentience from it. There's definitely some feeling of malice, but there's no sentience. It's like a piece of yourself, a dark piece of yourself where it's just all your negative emotions. But it's not alive like the void from Marvel. It's not a separate personality. It's just the power I have that I can wield.

With my other hand, I summon the power of the Sentry, which manifests as a golden sphere shining bright as the sun. I can feel an aura of safety, strength, power, and confidence with it. I know what I must do. I slowly take both hands together, one holding the power of the void and the other the power of the Sentry and I watch as they merge. Their energy is intense as they're clashing positive and negative light and dark. But they are merging slowly but surely as they come closer and closer together. The colors clash and change, becoming a kaleidoscope of colors until they eventually become one.

Looking at the orb of pure power, I slowly will it to be absorbed within my body, making it the core of my power as it slowly merges the rest of the power of the Sentry and the void. It's power within me, slowly merging it together as it slowly converges, becoming singularity. It won't be finished today or even tomorrow. It could take at least a year for the power to fully merge simply because it's just too much, but as it does, I can feel the power stabilizing, meaning I'll gain better control of it.

I am satisfied with the breakthrough that I made. I once again look at the Earth below me, truly taking it in. I see our beautiful little blue and green ball we call home. With my new power, I can both see and sense the good and the evil.

I could try to fix this world that is so much like my own. I could stop all the terrorists, slave traffickers, drug dealers, cartels, and the most significant threats, the supes. With my limitless power, it would be easy. Nothing stops me from striking out against these evils plaguing this world. Besides, I have a week before Hueghie's girlfriend Robin gets killed by A-Train. Might as well do some good while I can time to become the golden guardian.

Taking one last look at myself, I keep the original Sentry look with the beard added. I didn't like the merge Sentry redesign anyway, and I'm not interested in being Death Seed Sentry. I like the golden guardian look and keep the golden aura.
