Chapter 247: Souls

Jack's punch to Mephisto's face left him stunned for quite a while.

Although the attack didn't do much damage, it was incredibly insulting. As the mighty Lord of Hell, he had been slapped in his own home.

Mephisto was so angry that he felt like he was about to vomit blood!

Wanda could not take it any longer, so she used her Chaos Magic to make almost half of the palace crack, making it look like it was about to collapse.

Meanwhile, Jack didn't waste any time.

He teleported right in front of Mephisto, as he wanted to shut him up with the same move.

However, Mephisto blocked him and reached for Jack's chest with his sharp claws.

Jack paid no attention and allowed Mephisto's attack to land on him.

Mephisto was shocked when he found out that his usually unbreakable claws could not even cut through Jack's skin.

Instead, He found himself getting hit over and over again in the head by Jack's brutal fist.

Bang!

Bang!!

Bang!!!

Jack kept getting back at his enemies, punch after punch.

Suddenly, Mephisto disappeared from beneath his fists. Jack stopped his actions and turned around to look.

Mephisto stood at the entrance in a rather funny and hopeless way, as if he wanted to escape but couldn't.

"Alright! Alright!"

Seeing Jack and Wanda slowly approaching, Mephisto quickly raised his hand and waved for them to stop.

"Enough, I surrender!"

Hmm?

Mephisto's surrendering so easily caught Wanda off guard.

From her perspective, this battle was likely to take a long time, and it would take a lot of time to get what they wanted.

However... things seemed to be going a little too smoothly.

Jack didn't have the same doubts as her. He remained vigilant, still watching Mephisto closely.

Wanda shouted and hugged the two boys, who had just woken up and were trying to figure out what was going on.

She was so happy that she did not even notice that Vision had just recovered.

"Mom?"

When the two boys finally realized what was going on, they were a little confused, but they remembered what had happened in Westview before.

When she heard the boys' voices, Wanda nodded with tears of joy, holding them even tighter.

At that moment, she was the happiest mother in the world.

"Alright, everything is resolved now. I have to leave,"

Jack said as he realized the happy reunion of the family. When he looked at the time, his face changed a little, and he decided to take his leave.

No one spoke because Wanda was still so happy that she could not hear anything around her.

"Thank you for everything you've done."

Doctor Strange approached and sincerely expressed his gratitude.

"Heh, I have heard words like that way too many times."

Jack patted his shoulder with a complicated expression.

"Pay attention to your own job and stop thinking about small things."

Doctor Strange knew what Jack meant, and he gave a serious nod, as if he were ready to change his world.

Jack didn't stay for long and quickly left. However, instead of returning to his Universe directly, he arrived in the universe of the Illuminati.

Iron Man and Magneto seemed to have already left, maybe they went somewhere else for a bigger fight.

It was none other than Professor X, Black Bolt, Captain Marvel, and Captain Carter.

Mr. Fantastic was also there. If not for the plastic stretch on the ground, Jack would have almost forgotten about him.

In no time, the repairs were done, and the chests of the five Illuminati members on the ground started to rise and fall.
