As Jack appeared outside of Earth, a powerful battle was happening in Wakanda, Africa, which would decide the fate of the entire universe.
Thanos, the Mad Titan, descended to this unknown place while wearing the Infinity Gauntlet with five Infinity Stones.
He was looking for the sixth Infinity Stone, the Mind Stone, which was in Vision's head.
Thanos had an incredible amount of power that couldn't be ignored.
As the infamous Mad Titan of the universe, even without the Infinity Gauntlet, he was so strong that the superheroes of Earth couldn't even beat him.
The powerful Avengers were being defeated one by one, and even the brave Captain America was slapped with a single punch.
Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, had no choice but to do what her boyfriend Vision asked of her and destroy the Mind Stone on his forehead, even if it killed Vision.
But even this last-ditch effort was useless in front of the Time Stone.
Thanos just waved his Gauntlet a few times in front of the broken pieces of the Mind Stone, and Vision, who had been broken into pieces, came back to life with the Mind Stone on his forehead.
"No!"
Witnessing this scene, Scarlet Witch, who was sad, had a feeling that bad things were about to happen.
She ran at Thanos to stop him, but he just waved his hand and pushed her away.
Thanos just snatched the last Infinity Stone from Vision's head and put it in his Gauntlet.
At this moment, he had all six of the Infinity Stones.
The six stones set off a chain reaction that caused a rush of energy in an instant.
Even though Thanos' body was stronger than a god's, he couldn't help but scream in pain because the energy was so strong.
Thanos was in so much pain that he cried out, which shows how bad it was.
Just then, a thunderbolt fell from the sky.
Thanos had no chance to react. Just as it looked like he was going to get hit, the lightning vanished as if it had never been there.
"Hmm?"
Not only Thor, who summoned the lightning but even Thanos himself was confused.
He secretly suspected that the king of Asgard might suddenly decide to spare him.
Obviously, that was impossible. Someone else must be helping him.
But were they really helping him?
Thor hadn't figured out what had just happened, but he knew he shouldn't miss this opportunity.
He put down his axe and got ready to hit again. But before he could do anything, everything changed and he found himself in space.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Thanos was stunned for a moment when he saw that Thor had disappeared.
Just then, a cold voice startled him from behind.
"Did you hurt her?"
Thanos quickly turned around, only to see a man who had appeared behind him.
The man was half-sitting on the ground and gently rubbing the woman's cheek while holding her in his arms.
"This feeling is quite strange, actually."
Jack gazed at the more mature Scarlet Witch in his arms, his expression was complicated.
He sighed softly, "Although I know she is not the one I love, I can't help but feel pain seeing her hurt."
He gently placed the unconscious Scarlet Witch on the ground and stood up, facing Thanos directly. His expression was colder than ever, and hidden beneath his eyes was a raging rage.
"...and some anger too!"
Thanos looked at this young Earthling with a solemn expression.
He felt a sense of pressure that he couldn't explain. It was a feeling he had only felt when he fought with Odin and the Ancient One back then.
No, perhaps it was more correct to say that this young man was far more powerful than those two.
Thanos sneakily used the Infinity Stones so he could just snap his fingers and kill his opponent.
However, for some reason, every time he had that thought, a voice inside him told him.
If he did that, he would die first.
Jack looked at the cosmic Thanos and shook his head gently.
"You shouldn't have made her cry."
"Nor should you have hit her."
"I liked her the way she was before."
Thanos didn't understand the meaning behind these words, but his intuition told him that his opponent was about to make a move.
Just as Thanos prepared to gamble everything and snap his fingers.
Crack!!
A metallic arm suddenly pierced through Thanos' chest, appearing from his front!
Thanos hadn't predicted this at all.
He looked down at his chest and couldn't believe what he saw. He tried to save himself by clenching his left hand, but he couldn't!
What kind of power was this...?
This is Thanos' final thought because his tall body immediately burst into a pile of remains, and the metal arm pierced through his chest and grabbed the Infinity Stones.
At this moment, the owner of the metal arm finally revealed himself.
It was none other than Ultron, who had been chased by Jack.
"What a pathetic toy,"
Ultron glanced at Thanos on the ground, smirked disdainfully, then looked at Jack with a hint of impatience and disgust on his face.
"So, you're still here, huh?!"
Jack shrugged his shoulders helplessly and said,
"Can't help it. You're my target, after all."
"What do you think you can do to me?"
Ultron forcefully pulled out the six stones from his glove and shouted,
"You don't have a chance anymore!"
He then put the newly acquired six stones into his chest.
Now he had a total of eleven Infinity Stones in his chest, plus the one on his head, making it a total of twelve.
Just the view of twelve Infinity Stones would be enough to scare some people to death.
However, Jack remained calm and relaxed in the face of Ultron. He even reached out to clean his ear while looking very calm.
But in Ultron's eyes, this was an insult.
Feeling that he had been played again, Ultron didn't waste a single word.
He reached out for Jack, planning to kill him with all twelve Infinity Stones at once.
However, he quickly realized something was wrong. His power didn't get increased at all.
In fact, now that he had twelve Infinity Stones, his power should have been twice as strong as before.
But his power wasn't increasing at all; it was the same as before.
"This..."
This change caught even Ultron off guard.
He looked down at the sparkling stones on his chest and began to wonder if his energy circuit had malfunction.
"Alas, that's why I said God is fair after all."
On the other side, Jack wasn't surprised by this result at all. It seemed he had expected it.
He flicked away the dirt from his fingernails and said to Ultron,
"If the number of Infinity Stones was the only thing that mattered, the most powerful people in the Multiverse would have grabbed all the Infinity Stones."
"What... What do you mean?"
At this point, Ultron also realized the situation, but he couldn't figure out what was going on.
He had to ask Jack for help.
"Let me teach you a lesson. The Multiverse is just different people's different choices on the same timeline. Eventually, they are still on the same timeline. And as for the Infinity Stones, there are only six stones, no matter what."
Jack sighed, "In other words, each timeline can only have up to six Infinity Stones. Once there's an extra stone, it affects the original stones, turning them into useless rocks."
"So, with everything you've done, you've only got six useless rocks."
"Do you understand now?"
