Chapter 99: Thanos' Plan

Stark hesitated for a moment before shaking his head. "I don't want to."

Thor was taken aback. "You don't want to?"

Stark glared at him. "Because I know you're not the type to act without conditions. I don't want to end up being used by you."

He then smiled confidently. "I can check it myself."

"Who's going to check it for you? Is Happy really that naive?"

Thor patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm not asking you to pay anything. I can help you deal with your opponent directly. The only condition is that you handle your opponent's qualifications."

Stark raised an eyebrow. "My opponent? I have no objections, but Washington might not agree. S.H.I.E.L.D. will definitely cause trouble."

"You don't need to worry about that. Just nod your head."

Thor handed Stark a USB flash drive. "Everything you need to know is on this, along with some additional information that might interest you."

Stark took the USB flash drive and asked, "Why not just tell me the name?"

Thor shook his head meaningfully. "First, you wouldn't believe it without evidence. Second, I'm concerned you might insult me on the spot."

"Tch, am I really that petty? Knowing who it is is enough; I can handle it myself."

Stark pursed his lips and left, unaware of Thor's ulterior motives.

If it had been just an ordinary enemy, Stark would have dismissed the idea of seizing their assets after defeating them. Tony Stark wasn't short of money now, nor would he be in the future.

However, if Obadiah had shares in Stark Industries, the situation would be different...

Well, it was too late for Stark to regret his decision after he reviewed the contents of the USB flash drive. As for whether he would deny it? He'd just have to deal with it.

In a hidden location in Asgard, Loki sat across from a cloaked figure.

"Tell me, what can you offer me? Then, I'll decide whether to spare your life."

Although Loki was smiling, his eyes were cold and menacing.

The cloaked figure seemed unfazed and chuckled lightly. "Kill me? It's easy to kill me, but some things can't be changed by killing me."

"What do you mean?"

The cloaked figure smiled mysteriously, extending a pale hand from his sleeve to grasp Loki's wrist.

"Click"

A dagger was swiftly thrust into the cloaked man's heart. Loki pulled the dagger out and looked at his wrist.

"I said... some things can't be changed by killing me..."

The cloaked man's voice grew faint, but a scheming smirk lingered on his lips. "With enough Ice energy, you can make... your disguise invisible."

With a "thud," he fell to the ground, dead.

The cloak was removed, revealing a frost gaint beneath!

"Shhhhh..."

Loki observed his wrist; icy energy had been absorbed into it, causing his arm to turn as pale as a frost giant.

It took several seconds for Loki's arm to return to normal.

But his expression was unusually dark.

At Sanctuary II, Ebony Maw was reporting to Thanos.

"He killed our people and didn't seem to believe it," Ebony Maw reported.

Thanos was unconcerned. "It doesn't matter. A self-proclaimed smart person like him will certainly seek proof if he doubts something."

Ebony Maw flattered, "My lord is correct!"

Thanos stood up. "My grand plan will not be hindered by anyone. Whether it's Odin, the Ancient One, or the entire Asgard, they will all be obliterated. We'll plant a bomb that will one day completely destroy Asgard!"

Suddenly remembering something, Thanos turned and asked, "How long has that person been here recently?"

"It's been almost half a month. He should... have realized your invincibility, my lord."

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight stood by with expressionless faces.

Thanos endured numerous defeats and the loss of many of his subordinates, yet he still revered being the second in command of the Black Order. Corvus Glaive could only offer insincere praise.

Despite their own reservations, they knew better than to express their objections at this time, fearing Thanos' wrath...

Only Black Dwarf couldn't suppress a smirk and made a "poof" sound, which immediately drew Ebony Maw's anger and Thanos' cold gaze.

"You deserve it, for belittling those at the bottom of the hierarchy!"

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight exchanged curses.
