"All right, please pull the car over to the side of the road, stop! Stop!" John looked at the man who helped him escape danger and used gestures and speech to instruct the Terminator protecting him to stop.
"Oh my God, This must be a misunderstanding. You're a Terminator, right?" the astonished man who stopped by the roadside said, looking at the T-800 in front of him.
"Yes, a cybernetic organism, Model 101," Arnold said expressionlessly while taking out his shotgun from his body to prevent any danger.
"Unbelievable, man. You really look like a human, I mean... you're a robot at your core, right? Your appearance is human-like," John said with great interest.
"A mechanical skeleton covered with living tissue," Arnold said coolly.
"That's so cool," John exclaimed.
"You're not here to kill me, I know that much, so what exactly do you want?" John stared into Arnold's eyes.
"My mission is to protect you."
"Is that so? Who sent you?" John asked in doubt, but he vaguely understood that it might have been him who sent the Terminator, recalling what his mother had told him.
"You sent me, the you from 35 years in the future. You reprogrammed me and sent me back to this time to protect you."
"Oh, that's really heavy. And that guy, the other Terminator, is he like you?" After exchanging words with Arnold for a while, as night fell, John, sitting on the motorcycle, casually asked Arnold.
"It's the T-1000, a more advanced model," Arnold said calmly.
"You mean it's more advanced than you?" John said in astonishment because the Arnold protecting him was already advanced, so the fact that there was an even more advanced one hunting him down surprised him greatly.
"Yes, it's mimetic poly-alloy," Arnold said, using professional terminology while driving.
"What does that mean?" John said puzzled.
"Liquid metal," Arnold said simply.
"Where are we going?" Today's events left John extremely confused, not knowing where he should go. So he asked Arnold, as he was the only Terminator he could rely on now.
"For your safety, you need to leave this city immediately to avoid being hunted down by him," Arnold turned his head and said softly to John.
"I want to go home and pack some things before leaving." John's intention to go home was mainly to reassure his foster parents. After all, they had taken care of him for a long time, and even though their relationship was not great, it was impossible for him to not care at all.
"Denied. It will definitely be lying in wait there," Arnold's statement shattered John's plan.
"Are you sure?" John said incredulously.
"If I were in its position, that's what I would do," Arnold glanced at John and said calmly.
"Listen, even though Todd and Jina are annoying... I need to warn them to be careful," John arrived at a roadside phone booth, reached into his pocket, and realized he didn't have any change because he was in a hurry. "Damn it, do you have any coins?"
Arnold's action was straightforward and forceful. He punched the coin box of the public telephone, and that was the end of it. The free change was taken out.
"Gina, it's me." John made the call and directly nervously spoke to the T-1000 disguised as Gina.
"John? Are you both okay? Of course, sweetheart, everything's fine. Are you okay?" T-1000 pretended to show concern, and it must be said that the T-1000 model of Terminator excelled in both mimicry and adaptability.
"We're fine," John said simply.
"John, it's getting late, and I'm really worried about you. Please come home quickly, let's have dinner together. I'm cooking beef," T-1000, disguised as Gina, said gently, unaware that John had already detected something was wrong.
"Something's not right. She has never been this kind to me," John covered the phone and whispered to Arnold in doubt. After all, John was usually not well-liked by his foster mother, and it was partly due to his frequent mischief.
"John, where are you? John, it's late now. Don't make me worry too much." John in the phone booth heard Gina's unusual behavior and her constant insistence for him to come back.
"Is he already there?" John pointed to the phone and whispered to Arnold.
"I'm here, I'm fine," Arnold simulated John's voice and responded to the other Terminator.
"Really?" T-1000 said as if caring.
"What's the dog's name?" Arnold covered the phone and whispered to Connor.
"Max," John quickly answered because this dog was his own pet, and only he and his foster parents knew its name.
"Gina, what's wrong with Woof Woof? I heard it barking. Is it okay?" Arnold asked tentatively, trying to test if it was really his foster parents.
"Woof Woof is fine, sweetheart. It's fine. Where are you?" T-1000 looked coldly outside as if it had discovered something.
"Your foster parents are dead." After confirming that it was the T-1000, Arnold said simply. The Terminator 2 plot continued as it was originally intended, but can the future really be changed? That is an unknown variable that needs facts to prove.
"It seems like I'm just spectating in this world, but that's not bad either. It's time to enjoy the modern atmosphere. The main world really is backward." In a private villa in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Tang Tian snapped his fingers. Three NS-5 robots each held a large plate with dishes that ordinary people couldn't afford, such as a pound of medium-rare black pepper steak, lean pork congee with preserved eggs, and other delicacies. After indulging in the feast, Tang Tian smiled while looking at the latest updates on his wrist computer about John and the T-1000.
"Indeed, the climax is about to begin. There has been a murder at John's foster parents' house, and T-1000 is acting quickly. It seems that the harvest time will come in a few days. Speaking of which, I should temporarily go back to the time when I obtained these items. Tang Xing's speed is definitely not slow either," Tang Tian muttered to himself, enjoying life these past few days while instructing his subordinates to pay a little attention to the progress of the plot.
"Dyson's team, T-800, T-1000 for the first phase of looting," Tang Tian squinted his eyes, took out a bottle of wine from his briefcase, and savored it slowly while contemplating. After obtaining the items for the first phase, the Terminator 3 plot would start. Of course, after obtaining these items, Tang Tian would provide the military with some copies of the original Skynet, allowing the timeline of Terminator 3 to continue.
When temporarily returning to Colony 2, Tang Tian would have the packed Dyson team, along with Dr. Lanning and the AI Red Queen, integrate the Terminator chips with the future Skynet program, and create his own Skynet. This way, as his own Skynet, he could quickly control the future robots and Skynet sub-bases. That is Tang Tian's true goal.
