"After this day... I mean..... No marathon would hold a candle to me."
Nolamine said as he caught his breath. He had been running hours upon hours nonstop. He looked left and then to his right and tried to sense any vibrations that were heading his way.
After concentrating for a while, he finally sighed.
"It seemed to have worked somehow."
He said as he lifted his hand to his mouth and drank from Blue.
When he had gotten away from the beast that seemed to be critically injured by his last attack but as angry as any beast would be, he heard it firing one of its beams and thought it was aiming for him when he ran away.
After nothing came his way as he looked behind him while he ran, he thought it was odd. That was when he heard the beast growl in a burst of anger again and took off in his direction.
"What? Are you serious?"
