Ch 26: Meng Wu Ya's Shock

As yang feng stared at Meng Wu Ya, he slowly let out a few words that rattled Meng Wu Ya to his core," Peak? Glory? What could a puny saint with his cultivation sealed at immortal ascension realm know of glory, of the peak."

When Meng Wu Ya heard what yang feng said, he was both terrified and confused. Confused because to him saint realm is the top most realm a cultivator can achieve. But yang feng called the realm as a 'puny saint'.

Terrified because yang feng even knew about the saint realm. But the most he was terrified by was the aura yang feng was releasing at the moment although not too strong, was suffocating.

Meng Wu Ya felt like he was standing in front of something he should not provoke, something beyond him. And worst of all, he knew about his cultivation being sealed, and this terrified his, even the overlords of the Tong Xuan Realm who were his friends don't know what happened to him, but the teenager in front of him obviously did.

Meng Wu Ya ignored the suffocation he was feeling and asked in a composed tone and slightly narrowed eyes."What do you mean by 'puny saint'. You should not know this stuff, living in this world. Who are you boy?"

Meng Wu Ya asked, he wanted to know how the kid knows about the saint realm being in this small world. As for suspecting him for being an old being pretending to be young? That was impossible considering his cultivation level and his bone age.

When yang feng heard his question, he showed a sneer on his face and said," I mean what I said. You think that no one in this small world would know about the saint realm, about this world being a small secret world within the Tong Xuan Realm." When he said this, he saw Meng Wu Ya's eyes widen to their limits.

But he continued," you're nothing but a frog at the bottom of the well. Do you think that there is only a single world in existence, your Tong Xuan Realm? Let me tell you there are countless worlds which are 100s and 1000s of times better than Tong Xuan Realm in terms of resources and such. Do you know that after the Saint realm there is a Saint King Realm after which there is a Origin Returning Realm and than a Origin King Realm and even those realms are not the peak, infact real cultivation to the peak starts only after reaching the realm of Origin King Realm." Yang feng continued to bombard Meng Wu Ya with one bomb after the other.

But he still didn't stop there," Do you know that for every profession, after the Saint rank there is a Saint King Rank, Origin Returning Rank and so on? No you don't, you only reached the saint realm and think that it is the peak realms for cultivators. Is this the only peak you think Xia Ning Chang can reach? You don't even know that with her talent she can easily reach the realms beyond Origin King Realm."

By the end of it, Meng Wu Ya's mouth was hung open, his eyes looked like they will fall out from the sockets the next moment. It was too much of a shock for him to be suddenly dumped with such information.

"Now old man, what is going to happen is that you will not interfere in my and Ning Chang's matter." Yang feng said this and turned towards the door and left. When Meng Wu Ya came to from his shock and understood what yang feng said, he had already left.

What both failed to notice was that their was someone outside the doors of the hall, but just as yang feng reached the doors that figure quickly left.

'that boy....I didn't expect this.' Meng Wu Ya went through the entire conversation again and again in his mind and only came up with one conclusion,' that bo...no yang feng is not to be underestimated.'

Yang feng was currently in his cottage. Although back in the contribution hall it looked like he was not worried and afraid of Meng Wu Ya, but in reality he was worried that Meng Wu Ya would attack him or make things different for him. The entire time till now his back has been dreached with cold sweat.

After he calmed down and thought back to the feeling he felt from his physique. 'Just what was that feeling. I felt it before when facing the golden skeleton and now with Meng Wu Ya. Now that I think of it, both times I was being provoked and looked down on, by both.' yang feng contemplated his current condition.

'Is it that my physique doesn't likes to be looked upon?' yang feng thought with a strange expression. 'it is possible, I think. My physique is related to chaos so it must at least be at Sacred Rank and might have some kind of pride, right?.'

As yang feng continued to think he heard a knock on his door. He stood up from the place he was sitting and opened the door." Senior Brother Yang, second elder has called for you in the elder hall." A disciple was standing in front of him and told him.

"Alright, you can go now." Yang Feng said to the disciple who went back after completing his task. Just as yang feng was about to leave, he saw Xia Ning Chang coming towards him. When she reached him and saw that he was outside his cottage and looked to be going somewhere.

"Junior Brother Yang feng, are you going somewhere?" She asked him in a soft questioning tone. Yang feng replied to her smiling apologetically," the elders called for me, from the looks of it I will have to go on a mission."

Xia Ning Chang just let out a hum somewhat dejectedly, though she tried not to show it. He told her," if I go on a mission, you should practice the technique I taught you and when I come back we will have an alchemist duel, alright."

When he said this,Xia Ning Chang looked at him with eyes filled with determination. Not being able to control himself, Yang feng raised his hand and gently caressed her head. Xia Ning Chang was greatly surprised at the gesture and started blushing, but she didn't pull back.

Seeing that she didn't pull back yang feng was beyond happy and spoke in a soft voice," I'll be going now." He didn't stop and directly went to the elder hall.
