After feeling the pressure that Henry released, every brain cell in my body screamed to run away but it's not the time to run away.

"M-My humble apologies sir but i didn't meant to mock you in any way."

Suddenly a hand appeared on Henry's shoulder.

"Calm down. He is just a new student."

"Ah...i lost myself. I apologise."

"I will be out for a smoke want to come ?" Morgana asked as she headed out.

"Yeah coming."

Both teachers left the room.

"Hey, are you in your right mind ?" Dala asked in confusion.

"Hmm...Yes why ?"

"No one has selected him as their mentor since he joined the academy don't you have some common sense, you should be more social with other students."

"I will still select him."

"Wha- actually do whatever you want i am going. What a weirdo ?" Dala left the class after this.

Now it's just you and me.

There wasn't much character development in his character inside the novel but i know one of his characterstics and that is to not give a fuck about any matter that is not related to him except world's safety.

I know you have been listening to our talks for quite sometime but you won't respond to whatever i say, so I've decided to get straight to the point.

"I acknowledge Thomas Hines as my mentor. Who is also known as the 'Magi Of Thunder'."

As soon as those words left my mouth, Thomas suddenly vanished from his place and appeared right behind me pointing a long but thin green sword towards my nape.

It was so fast that the whole process took 0.00003 seconds and i think i pissed a little in my pants.

"Who are you ?" He asked with ice-cold eyes.

"J-Just a student."

"One more lie and this sword will pierce through your throat."

"Y-You can't kill a student."

"I know but you are not a student, are you perhaps working for the Femur Clan of Vampires or Are you a incubus from the Dark side."

"No, i am just a human you can sense it right ?"

Retrieving his sword he asked.

"I can sense it but only some higher ups are aware of this information that you just said casually."

"So ?"

"What ?"

"I acknowledged you as my mentor."

"Yeah good." He went back to the table and placed the cap back on his face and acted as if he was sleeping again."

"I will tell everyone about your rank." It's a pure bluff.

"What ? You know that too." He said after lowering the cap a little.

"Yes."

"Arghhhh...what do you want ? If you want money i can give you as much as you want."

"Nope i don't want money, i want you to teach me and take me as your disciple."

"No.. that's fucking annoying."

"Please."

"No no no."

"Okay i am going to tell everyone who you are and what's your rank"

"What can you prove ? No one will believe you." Thomas said with a smile.

"We will se that."

I started walking towards the exit door hoping for him to stop me.

'Come on...Come on.'

"Wait ?"

I smiled inwardly.

"Hmm ?" I looked back at him as i noticed him biting his nails in frustration.

"I will take you as my disciple but on one condition."

"What's the condition?"

"You have to prove yourself."

"I am ready." I knew it he will definitely test me.

Standing up he looked at his watch and spoke.

"You have to do 100 rounds on that ground in 5 hours without using mana." Thomas said as he pointed towards the training grounds.

"W-What ? That's like 10 km per round and without using mana is like impossible."

"Yes i know, that's why you should just give up and choose one of them as your mentor."

"No, i will do it."

"W-What ? Are you serious ?" He asked with a surprised expression

"Yep, i am going." I left the room after that.

"H-Hey...wait." i left before he said that.

"What a crazy kid ?"

Before long Thomas looked at the training ground and found me running around the track.

"He will eventually get tired and than i will look at his retard face."

'But more importantly how does he know about my identity ? Did i got compromised ? Or is he someone sent here by the higher officers ?' Thomas thought inwardly.

'Eh... doesn't matters if he fails the test he won't tell anyone about my real identity, But if my real identity got revealed than i can kiss my Peaceful life goodbye.'

Without much thinking Thomas went back to sleep.

I warmed up my muscles and started running.

'I will definitely have him accept me as his disciple.' only this single thought remained in my brain as i started running.

5 hours later...

"Uwhaaa...hmm it's dinner time already huh..?" Thomas woke up as he yawned loudly.

Walking out of the empty room he noticed that many students and teachers are gathered in the training grounds.

"Hmmm...is something interesting going on there ?"

Jumping from the 6th floor he walked towards the crowd and asked a student.

"Hey what's going on ?"

"Hmmm...oh i greet professor Thomas-"

"Yeah, Yeah just tell me what's up there ?"

"Oh...just a stupid first year. He has been running like a dog for last 5 hours."

"WHATTTTT ?" Thomas shouted and everyone looked at him.

Making his way through the crowd Thomas saw something that made him freeze on the spot.
