Max was weakened by Lola's outburst. He was too astonished by all that transpired as the scene in the restroom replayed in his head. A woman was helplessly murdered in front of him and he couldn't do anything.

As he thought about what to do to unravel the truth so that the accusations already labeled against him wouldn't get out of hand, Ethan walked into the room with an urgent phone call that he must answer. 

"Who is that and why didn't the person call my personal line?" He hated yelling at Ethan, but he didn't care at that moment.
