Lola knew that it was time for her to step in and help Max. If he continued entrusting everything to his agents, nothing would get done. She has been able to gather a lot of information and get two men by her side. She was only worried about James. If he worked against them, he would pose a threat.
All the time that she had spent indoors, learning some skills online and practicing some tech tricks to track people's whereabouts and see the world behind her desk. She believes that she's ready and can't sit down and watch Max suffer alone.
After two more rounds of argument, he had no other choice but to accept that she would join his new tech guy in the secret house. She was heavily guarded at the House while he went with some men to find James.
When the car parked in front of a bushy and unpainted house, she was already telling herself that maybe staying in the secret house wasn't a good thing after all.
