"Come on down," said Daniel to a girl who was behind him at this time. "We have arrived."

Ametsa, who heard this, immediately got off the man's motorbike with sparkling eyes, which made Daniel, who saw this, immediately smile.

"How are you? Are you happy now? I don't want to see you sad again, Ametsa, so I hope that bringing you here will make things better."

The girl who had been just admiring what she was seeing in front of her eyes immediately turned to the side where a man was looking at her with a faint smile.

"What are you talking about, Daniel? Of course, I was really happy when you said you would take me here. Plus, I haven't been here in a long time, and I miss him."

Apart from that, there are many memories that Ametsa certainly will not be able to erase from her memory. Namely, how the girl who came to the Carnival with her parents made her miss them.

She wanted that now his parents were here, with her and playing with her like when Ametsa was little. All happiness related to her.

"Ametsa," Daniel called, who accidentally saw the girl beside him just now shedding tears, which made the man widen his eyes in concern. "What happened to you?! Why are you crying?! Did I hurt you? Oh my God, I'm sorry!"

However, the girl immediately wiped her tears from her cheeks, then shook her head while pinching the corners of her lips to form a smile, and didn't forget to turn her head to look at Daniel who currently looks so worried.

"I'm fine, it's just that I miss them a bit. Daniel, thanks for bringing me here, but I want to be honest with you that I'm happy right now."

After that, Daniel immediately smiled after hearing a statement that Ametsa had just made to him. He was so grateful that the girl liked him so he didn't have to worry about her anymore.

"What did you say? I should be the one thanking you, Ametsa, for accepting my invitation here."

Ametsa chuckled as she shook her head, then said, "Never mind, talking to you is just a waste of my time. Hurry up, I want to get on the ride now."

Then the girl just left leaving Daniel who was still silent in his place after getting off his motorbike. The man just sighed while smiling wryly after hearing what his friend just said.

"Ametsa, which one do you want to ride?"

A man was standing beside her who had just arrived, panting as Ametsa kept walking like she was confused about getting a ride.

"I'm still confused, Daniel. Shouldn't I just go up?"

Daniel immediately pursed his lips tightly after hearing what someone who was beside him had just said with his eyes closed. It was as if the man was trying to calm his emotions.

"Ah, no, I'll ride it. Daniel, come with me!"

"W-what?! I thought you weren't going on that ride."

"Yes, at first it was, but…" Ametsa paused, who now asked Daniel to immediately join the queue with her so that the two of them were now sitting on a ride called kora-kora. "I felt compelled to go up because you've brought me all the way here."

The man who heard it immediately smiled his sweet smile, then one hand is now feeling his chest which feels like it's beating so fast. There is an unusual feeling that is now back, which makes Daniel feel uncomfortable around the girl.

"I really can never hide this feeling, no matter how hard I try to get rid of it but still never can," he said to himself. "But how long do I have to be like this?"

Meanwhile, everyone had already filled the seats of the ride, so everyone immediately got ready to hold hands. Even though Daniel was afraid, he now immediately hid his head behind the back of Ametsa who was now laughing so contentedly.

"Daniel, why are you hiding? Are you afraid to ride this ride?"

"Shut up, I don't like riding this ride."

"If you are like this, then why are you talking as if you dared to ride a ride? Even though you would make me happy tonight."

A few moments later their ride had ended with Daniel still feeling shaking all over his body after finally making it through the ride. Meanwhile, Ametsa who saw it immediately folded her arms across her chest with one eyebrow raised.

"You really can't ride rides?" asked the girl with a more serious face. "Even though I wanted you to accompany me tonight, but... seeing you like this makes me worry."

When he saw someone in front of him about to step back, Daniel immediately stopped him.

"Ametsa, wait." The man grabbed the girl's wrist and then again said, "Where are you going?"

"Go home?" Ametsa answered doubtfully with raised eyebrows. However, Daniel who was beside her immediately shook his head after feeling better than before.

"No, I promised to make you happy tonight. That's why you shouldn't go home until you're really happy today."

It was so hard for Ametsa to explain that the man in front of her never gave up so easily that she was even more uncomfortable with Daniel who was with her now.

"Daniel," the girl called with a sweet smile. While the man who heard it immediately answered with raised eyebrows, "What?"

"How long will you hold my hand?" asked Ametsa with a very serious look.

Daniel who woke up immediately saw one of his hands still gripping the girl's wrist so the man immediately stopped him.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Ametsa. I didn't mean to--" The girl interrupted and said, "Never mind, I'm fine, Daniel. Don't worry too much, it's just a small problem."

"Thank you, Ametsa. You are my best friend," Daniel said with a bitter smile. "I hope we are friends forever."

Ametsa's smile suddenly faded after hearing the words the person in front of her had just said. For some reason, he felt that there was a hidden message behind his last words that he couldn't stop thinking about.
