Despite the intense pain caused by his wound that seemed to be reopened, Rigor pushed himself up and slowly adjusted his body so that his knees could press against the cold floor. "It's not what you think, Master," he responded to the Master Vanquisher.
"Not what I think?" Ericus Macheze wasn't satisfied and his expression and tone proved it all.
"Please... believe me, Master," Rigor pleaded. "Lady Lenora is fine. I have no reason to lie to you."
Now that Ericus's mind wasn't as clouded as earlier, he took his time to calm down. He was always great at self-control and he was never the type to easily lose his cool or to go to the extent he went earlier but... he just can't when his only sister was concerned!
