Chapter 25
She left the coffee shop not after strategizing her plans to discover what was hidden. her first step was to get close to Claire and befriend her . she would apologize to her for the way she treated her the first time and then act as if she had changed. yes ,that is what she would do . Linda thought within her .

Claire went to her room to refresh and change into her swimming suit as she got ready for her class . she laid on her bed with her eyes closed until her maid Azra came to call her .
" You don't seem well ma'am .". the observant girl stated as they walked towards the pool . she wondered if something happened at the front wing because Claire's mood was sour ever since she returned back .
looking at the worried face of her maid , Claire took a breath in and forced a smile at her . " I'm good don't worry ." she said . she wouldn't want to burden another person with her problems.
They started the class for that day pretty well and quickly end it due to an emergency call her coach needs to run . After taking her lunch ,she met Daisy at her own wing and together they went out for a stroll. Claire was glad that Daisy made the suggestion of going out because it uplifted her spirit a lot .
They went to the stadium and after getting bored of watching a match ,they stood and left for the mall .
Claire bought any good thing her eyes laid on as she was given an order from Daisy to do so . she was quite surprised when she saw Daisy with her cart full of goodies as she looked apologically at Claire and they giggled together like teenage girls .
They went to the cashier and paid for their stuffs . Claire told Daisy to go with her to her friend's hospital where the works and she accepted. so together they drove to the city hospital where Caroline works .
The serious Carole who was in the middle of a conversation with a patient paused when she saw the screen of her phone biped with a message. she click on it and saw ,' come out now I need your help please ---- Claire ' . her face changed as she thought something bad had happened to her friend. she quickly wrap up the discussion with the patient and left.
Carole was just coming out from the hospital door horridly when she halt as she looked at the smiling Claire in front of her with two shopping bags in her hands .
"Ta - da ." Claire smiled as she stretched her hands towards Carole .
After taking some couples of breath, Carole resumed her walk as she felt smacking her real hard and also hugging her at the same time .
"Claire ." Carole pursed her lips and put her hands on her hips as she glared at Claire .
" I'm sorry ." the pouting Claire hugged her which made Carole take a breath in again and returned the hug .
" So what's this ."the energetic Carole emerged as she eyed the bags in Claire's hands .
" They are all for you ,"Claire gave the bags to her and said ," I and Daisy went out today for shopping so I pick those for you ." Carole raised her brows as her eyes moved to look behind her . seeing the general's daughter standing quietly beside the car watching them ,she walked up to her .
"Thank you for taking her out ." Carole said with all sincerity and Daisy chuckled,
" you don't have to ." she shook her head , " she has become my sister so I have to treat her as one ." she smiled .
They left the hospital and returned back to the Mansion after spending a little more time with Carole . Azra took the things Claire bought and arranged them in the kitchen as Claire went to her room .
" urghh..." she blew out from her mouth and laid on the bed . after some minutes,Claire stood up and went to her closet to arrange the things for her work the following day and when she was through with it ,she took her bath and retired for the night.

The sun rose high up in the sky and hit the floor of the Morgan's Mansion before igniting every conversation of the building with its golden hue .
Claire who was still in deep sleep ,rubbed her eyes as she hissed with a fallen expression. the weekend was too short for her . she wanted it to continue for a bit long . grudgingly getting up from the bed, she went into the bathroom and splash water on her face .
" Why did you close in fast ?" Claire asked her reflection in the mirror as she pouted. looking at her image staring back at her ,Claire hissed and picked up her toothbrush.
"Ma'am .." Azra sang as she knocked on Claire's door.
" I'm coming..." Claire shouted from the bathroom.
" You breakfast is ready ."
" okay ."
After having her breakfast,Claire got ready for work and left .
"Good morning.." Claire greeted the head of the PR team that came to drop some files on her table . the young man grinned at her as he took a seat opposite her. Claire looked up at him curiously from the files .
" Is there anything else I can help you with ?"
" Ha yes " he chewed on his lips as he lock his gaze on her .
Claire looked at him expectantly so he could spill out his problem .
" Why don't you have a boyfriend?" due to the suddenness of the question,Claire coughed .
" sorry " he looked at her coyly . Claire wiped her eyes with her kerchief and smiled at the man .
" do you have issues with that ? "
The man ignored her question and said ," give me your contact I will like to take you out this weekend . actually," he continued as Claire just stared at him ,"I've been keeping an eye on you ever since you started working here and I realized that you don't have a boyfriend. I would be glad if you give me a chance to fill up that gap ." the young man licked his lips as his eyes shone worth lustful desires .
" I'm married." Claire said .
The young man chocked as he burst out laughing. he couldn't believe what she said . he looked at her like someone who has lost his mind .
" You are married but I don't see any ring on your finger lady ," he taunted her , "you have such a glorious figure with a beautiful face. I don't want it to go a waste so I'm offering my help ." he said and bit down on his lip .
