Tears welled up in her eyes. She gazed out of the window, avoiding Aiden's gaze to conceal her emotions. Her only desire was to reunite with her daughter.
"I have spent over four years with my daughter, and to be honest, she is my everything. However, your brother has taken her away, and now I'm left to face life alone," Lilian expressed tearfully.
Observing her sniffles, Aiden attentively listened to her. He sensed her lack of happiness. Her current demeanor was a far cry from the vibrant one she had before this ordeal began.
"I empathize with your emotions, Lilian. However, you crossed a line yesterday when you slapped him. Allen has never been physically confronted by anyone before in his life. You should offer him an apology first. Once you believe he has forgiven you, then engage in a conversation about Aurora and understand his feelings."
"I will not apologize to him. Do you realize the impact of what he did to me five years ago?" Lilian exclaimed.
