Chapter 31 Family Dinner 2

 A blonde haired lady walked up to us so elegantly, her green eyes were brighter than the sun, matching her blonde hair perfectly. She was the definition of beauty making any lady who sees her intimidated. Her light skin could glow in the dark too, she's a slender tall classy lady. No woman would want their husbands or boyfriend's close to this beauty, cause she could bewitch any man without even starring. But I liked her immediately without an idea of who she was.

She walked up to us with a perfect smile on her face, "Hello!" She greeted politely. "Hello!" Carie and I said in unison, I noticed how she looked at Carie who kept a livid face the moment she saw the lady walk in. There was some kind of tense between them which I couldn't rap my fingers around.

"Hello madam you must be the manager of this boutique?" Tom asked. "Yes and I would love to know why you asked for me?" She said sitting on the sofa opposite to ours. "Well madam as you can see, my client Mrs Wilson here would love to hire your boutique for the next two hours for her private shopping. You know how very selective people of the higher class could be!" Tom said.

"Of course, it's a pleasure to finally meet you Mrs Wilson!" She gestured her hands for a hand shake. "The pleasure is all mine!" I skook her hands with a smile. "I'm Beverly Balowe, why don't you come with me, I'll ask Raymond to get you the best pearl jewelries that would suit you perfectly!" She said and we all followed her to a more quieted room.

We sat on the sofa waiting for Raymond to bring the best jewelries for us. "What wonderful weather we have today I'm I right?" She asked as a lady brought in four glass of orange juice. She placed it on the table bowed and left. "Yes of course, it's just so suiting to the skin!" Carie responded. "This would help calm your nerves while you wait!" She said. Her name still sounded familiar but I've forgotten where I heard that name.

This experience was all new to me, I didn't even know I would get used to this life so quickly. Maybe I'm a natural. Raymond later walked in rolling a tray, he stopped in front of the table as he brought out pieces of the pearl jewelries one after another. They were beautiful as I started at them hungrily, I mean who wouldn't want one of these.

"What are you talking about? You left us for two whole years and the first person you ask of when you return is my wife?" Alex asked. "I heard she's really beautiful. Is that why you've been hiding her from everyone Alex?" He asked. "I am so done talking to you Ben, I miss you so much that i forgot how annoying you can be!" Alex said unhurriedly.

"It's called being honest Alex!" Ben said with a smile. "By the way what was the love and kisses this morning about?" Lukas asked. "Oh that's the little deal we had. You know how stubborn that woman can be, she challenges my words, insult me on regular basis. She's a pest Lukas a pest in my life. I had to put an end to that by making a deal with her!" Alex said.

"What's the deal about?" Lukas asked curiously,  "Her mum, the only way she could see her mother again is if she pleases me. I thought I was smart to make such deal but she used it to her advantage, and deceived me into pleasing her too and if I fail to do so, she'll call off the marriage. You know how important this is for me!" Alex said frustratedly.

"Damn, I need to see the tiger that has turned Alexander Wilson into a submissive puppy!" Ben said.
