Chapter 305 SURPRISE 1

A red blush powder on a make-up brush touched the cheek of an elegant fine lady tenderly. It's the first time among the elite people has it been heard that an engagement ceremony was held on weekdays cause of the wedding fixed date. But since it was a Wilson's party, everyone stopped whatever they had doing just to attend.

Attending their parties wouldn't just be for fun and gossip, but you'd also have the opportunity to meet top businessmen to form an alliance with. Beverly held her invitation Card in her hands staring at it as she swiped the top to bottom and over again till she placed it in her purse.

With Chan being a member of the Wilson's, it wasn't hard to get hold of the card Hazel made. The cards looked different this time, it wasn't the usual extravagant card, but that doesn't mean it was a normal card. Everyone knew Hazel was always for simplicity, so if she made something like this it was just her being real which was not good.

"You look almost unrecognizable." Chan stepped in staring at her newly found bestie, both women would have been an unstoppable force if they both didn't eye one man. Taking Hazel out of the picture and killing those things she calls children was their goal for now before deciding on who gets the price. While both women admired their features, back in another mansion was another beautiful slender looking fine lady who just got back from her trip.

With all the drama and turn of events happening, Vieve has been busy with the company and her personal businesses. Her cousin might be the C.E.O, but she does the whole work and sometimes it gets distributed among the other workers. She couldn't blame Hazel for her excess work, she's been allowed to leave but had stubbornly refused to go. If Hazel didn't exist, then the company and everything the Huxley's own would have been hers. But for some reason, the legitimate grandchild of the family has more rights than she does.

Each time she gets to think of everything she's been robbed of, she gets angrier by the minutes and with each day her hate for her unwanted cousin increases to the point she wishes she never existed. Genevieve stepped out of her room in a green mini dress, she was going to see Alex today so she had to look her best.

David and his lovely wife Nessa got into their car with his mother, Grace, and of course Vieve. They decided to take a ride together as a family, Nessa was excited to see her daughter and grandkids again, it's been so long since she last saw them, she's been so busy, and so has David and Hazel who's been more focused on her family.

"Mr. Corgis's son, Roland has asked for your hands in marraige Genevieve." David proposed recalling the conversation with his long-time friend. Veive was like a daughter to him and he has treated her nothing less than Hazel, he didn't know why she suddenly changed since the arrival of his daughter.

"My daughter will never get married to a man from that family, I'm sure you wouldn't want yours to do the same." Grace cut in. "Stop that Grace, Vieve's not getting any younger she has to get married." "Grandma, I'm not ready for that now." Genevieve interrupted.

"You've never been ready before dear, your sister Hazel is married and already has three kids and you're still here in my mansion. Arguing on not ready to get married." She rolled her eyes, offending her grandchild on purpose. Genevieve clutched her purse firmly from their words, this is one of the reasons she would hate Hazel forever.

"You look so beautiful my dear." Maria stared at her daughter in tears, her dreams were coming through, she always knew Avery would be a beautiful bride which was one of the reasons she didn't support her being gay. She wanted to see her both daughters walk down the aisle, and her dreams were coming through.

"Thank you, mum." Avery smiled wholeheartedly, she was the happiest person in the room. She was getting married to the only man who understands her, and never discriminated her for her choices when it came to intimacy. They were getting married in the eyes of everyone, but only they knew it was an open marriage, where one could have sex with anyone they felt like having sex with while in the marraige.

Avery wanted to please her mother and Grandma, they were on her neck daily and brought different rude men as husband choices. She didn't like any of them, and when she thought she was never going to get married, she met Falcon the man her brother tried to kill. Falcon is her blessing in disguise.

"I'll leave you now to do your thing." Maria stepped out of the room to go get dressed for the party. It's as always a huge celebration, so she had to look her best being the mother of the bride.

.

Alex decided we take family pictures together with the kids, for the hundredth time, before taking them back into their room. Engagement parties are not for kids their age so it's only common they all stay indoors with the maids. "Mr. And Mrs. Wilson." a man came from behind, he was dressed in a white spotless suit with a devilish smile on his lips. He looked so much like Alex, only that he had blue eyes. "Harry," Alex called gaily, they looked like close friends or even brothers.

I get to meet new members of his family at every party and from the look of things harry seemed for like a friend than a foe. "Mrs. Wilson." "Hello." He pressed his lips on my palm, "Sweetheart this is Harry, a brother. Harry my wife Hazel." He introduced us and we exchanged more pleasantries. It wasn't long for Benson to arrive with his girlfriend, they've both been dating for years now, and we hope they get married soon.

In no time the event hall was filled with people of different classes and statuses, Mum and Dad arrived along with grandma, aunty Grace, and Genevieve. I welcomed them in and made sure the maids attended to them properly. "Oh Hazel, come here." Mother called for me to pace toward her. "She's Hazel, my daughter-in-law, she's the brain behind the decorations." She said to the woman in a red dress.

"Darling, Mrs. Gilbert liked the work you did her and wanted to see you." She said, "Oh, thank you." I smiled to which she returned, I had to leave them as I had a lot to do. Avery's party has been entrusted to me, if anything goes wrong, then I'm to be blamed for it.

Halfway to the party, a lady stepped in, she was in a beautiful red dress that stood among the crowd, her dress glowed that had everyone staring at her. The closer she got, the more her face was recognizable, I was agape when I realized who had just stepped into the Wilson's party fearlessly.
