Chapter 263 BABY SHOWER 3

I took the elevator to the lounge which still held mum, grandma, and bitter aunty Grace, I could see the cold shoulder each woman gave each other. "Hazel, leaving already?" Grandma asked lifting herself from the Davenport, "Yes, Alex's waiting outside.

" Oh, when will your father just accept his son-in-law so we can all leave happily? David is just so irritable." She said firmly. I know grandma used to be the queen of abusing the Wilsons, but if she could change just for my babies, then Dad could do the same. I hugged grandma, "I'm sure with time he'd learn to accept us."

"My love, please take good care of yourself." Mum got up too, "I've tried talking to your father too but....." "That's alright mummy, Dad loves me he'll eventually come around."

"Oh, so confident of her father's love." I giggled, "I love him too."

.

"That day in the Bahamas, I wanted to talk to Hazel but you sent me away." Genevieve still feels hurt by his action and thought it was right she addressed that matter now he's alone. She liked this man, if only he could see it, she doesn't care if he already has a wife who is pregnant with his children, love is unpredictable.

The man sitted in his car with his back leaned on the wheel screen, one arm on his forehead, his eyes were closed, one knee raised and the other dropped down, said nothing to her.

Genevieve has been watching him for quite some time now, admiring his features but didn't have the balls to approach him. He was G*d damn handsome with intimidating facial features, which had her wondering how Hazel could speak to him so freely. Mr. Wilson she's longed for all these years was here in flesh and blood.

After having summoned all the courage in her, she finally stood before the man who has said nothing to her. "You look tired, do you need help with massaging? Look I know my sister can't help you with that currently, cause of her condition, but I'm willing to help." She smiled, but the man still ignored her.

Alex was in deep meditation, he was upset, he was jealous, but picking her family before him was normal right? 'Come on Alex, these things are silly'. He let out a heavy sigh, giving the wrong impression to the person talking beside him. Genevieve felt like she was disturbing him, but she still went on without a care.

"I know you're already married to my sister, I...I just wanted to let you know, I like you a lot." She hesitated a little studying bus reaction which hasn't changed a bit and she went on. "Not the in-law type of like, I like you like you, it might be surprising but I just wanted to let you know about my feelings." She said waiting for his response.

If it weren't for his Hazel, he sure would have dealt with that annoying father-in-law of his. Alex thought. Now he knows what Hazel went through in the hands of his grandmother, most times she skips meals with the family cause of fear of getting insulted for nothing.

It was terrible, he isn't even going through half of what she went through. His head and mind were clouded by the thought of her, not leaving any room for Genevieve or anyone else. He's her family too, so why didn't she go with him, "Argh.., Alex you're acting childish." He muttered beneath his deep voice, making it deeper.

Maybe she wants to clear things up with her father, maybe she's in there for him. But he cares less, David Huxley's not going to be the first man to hate him. He has far much more enemies than anyone else, and he still doesn't mind. He loves this woman so much now, much more than he thought he did. Alex grinned, he was in love.

"Alex let's go." Hazel saw her cousin standing next to her husband, her eyes didn't leave Genevieve's neither did Genevieve's eyes leave her. They both glared at each other understanding their stares, and vieve didn't hide her shameless act. She wanted her cousin to know she was out for the man.

Alex got upon hearing his wife's voice, "Are you don't sweetheart?" He got off the car to help her in, only then did he see the woman standing beside him. Hazel nodded at his words giving her sweet cousin a mocking look, before letting the man walk her into the car. "Alex." "Hmm."

"Sorry for keeping you waiting for long." Alex smiled pressing his lips on hers, before heading back into the car. They both headed back home, in preparation for the bridal shower. "You seem so close to my cousin." Alex met her gaze and returned it to the road.

"We're not close Hazel, I don't know who she is." He wondered why she brought that up knowing well he's not close to her sister. It didn't seem like it, from what Hazel had seen, it felt like they were talking cause vieve kept speaking about why Alex listened. He was so engrossed in it cause he didn't notice when she arrived.

Hazel felt jealous, she was right, it wouldn't take Alex anything to leave her. But why wouldn't he? When she's all plumpy and ugly now, her stomach is as big as a king-size pot and she needs his support to walk. It's his fault she's like this, if he never had sex with her or at least use protection she wouldn't end up this way. She said nothing else to him and just went silent, letting her emotions take control.

Alex wondered why she was suddenly so quiet staring out the window and not in his direction as usual. Hazel was fond of just staring at him since they got back, and he liked it, it seems his kids loved his face a lot. "Are you an alright angel?" He said but got no response from her. This troublesome woman was mad at him.

      But what did he do?

"I'm fine Alex, I understand you need a sexy woman in your life now I'm looking so fat and ugly. I'll still love you though, I'll always do." She said gloomily almost breaking down in tears. Alex didn't know what to do about this, he thought she was out of the jealous pregnant women range, but he was wrong cause this cute wife of his was jealous and insecure at the same time.

He parked his car at the side of the road, staring at the woman who still stared out the window. It's not her fault she doesn't trust him anymore, he broke the trust himself which he still regrets till this very day. "How could you doubt my love for you?" He spoke so calmly moving her hair to the back to see her cute face.

Hazel shook her body a little in an attempt to pull his hands off her but still didn't succeed. "My Love, sweetheart, come here." He turned her around pulling her in for a kiss, Alex had no idea why his sweet wife would think he doesn't love her any more days after he confessed his feelings to her.

"I'm a hard lover Hazel, I love you now and that's final." He said in between the kiss hitting her lower lips as he pulled out. "Ouch." She exclaimed sipping the air as she held her lips with her fingers. "Don't ever doubt my love ever again wife, we're late for our party." Alex matched the pedal with a satisfied smile on his lips.

He had his little ways of teaching her some lessons and working on their relationship, he was ready to spend the rest of his life with this woman. The one person that has accepted him for who he is, she's less interested in his money, all she wants is to be loved. But he'll give her all.

His beautiful wife, "You're a clown Alex." He chuckled lightly and continued. Her lips were already swollen from his hard suck, as if that was not enough he had to bite her lips. "I love you, Hazel." She blinked multiple times to calm her raising heart, this man sure knows how to make her feel weird.

How can one man pull such a trick on her, turning her little heart into a complicated space? She blushed, no matter how long they'll live together, Alex saying he loves her will never get old. Slowly she took her position of starting at him unblinkingly, he is gorgeous. "I love you too." He quickly met her gaze and returned his eyes to the road.

This woman will be the end of him, he was so sure now, he smiled at his thought. "Did your family finally accept to attend the bridal shower?" He asked calmly. "Hmm, but that doesn't mean Dad likes you, he said it's for me and our babies." He smiled, it's so David, that proud man.

"That's good." They both arrived back at the mansion and Alex helped his wife out of the car as usual throwing his keys to one of the guards as they both stepped into the mansion. The makeup artist and designer were already in the lounge awaiting their arrival.

"Good evening sir and madam." They rose and greeted with courtesy, Alex said nothing to them, but Hazel smiled, "Hello." They were new faces, not the usual people that prepared her for her wedding or engagement party.

Alex walked her to the elevator and into the master's suit. He helped her take off her clothes placing sweet kisses on her shoulder. "Alex I'm all sweaty and dirty," Hazel said almost out of breath. "Let me make you clean with this powerful tongue of mine."

"Alex, we're already late, all this naughtiness can wait till after the party." "You promises?" "Yes." Hazel didn't think before speaking and she just went on with his words, forgetting how beasty he gets.

Alex picked her up excitedly to the bathroom, he handled her softly after all it was his family he was carrying. He placed her into the bathtub and got in too, for their nice warm bath. They didn't take long in there before stepping out and heading into the closet. Alex wore his suit before leaving his wife in the hands of the makeup artist and designer.

.

After a series of treatments, Mr. Balowe pushed his daughter into a wheelchair as they left the hospital. Beverly wondered why he was here alone since she woke up she hasn't seen her mother and she wondered why. They've both developed some bond every mother and daughter shared.

She had a lot to tell her, her experiences, and what Xavier did to her. Each time her mother's name comes up, her father always finds ways to change the conversation quickly. She needed answers as to what had happened.

They got into the car, "Sir, I don't think Mr. Gerald would be available tonight." His P.A said calmly but Beverly could still hear them. "Why not?"

"He's attending the Wilson's daughter-in-law's bridal shower." Barlowe nodded in dismay, this is the first time his family was not being invited to a party like this. He wasn't surprised at their decision, his family has caused a lot of harm and trouble to them.

He never thought one day his family will be put to shame like this, he always thought he had it together. He thought his family was perfect as he's never heard of his daughters doing something wrong before. What Barlowe didn't know, was that he pressures them into their wrongdoings.

The worst shame of all was not caused by his daughters, but his wife, the one person who was meant to groom them tried to kill her niece. He couldn't raise his face before his friends or business associates. They disparaged and mocked him daily cause of these. "Alright." Barlowe let out a sigh as he stepped into his car which held his daughter.
