Chapter 140 Days to the wedding 21

 We left the mansion after breakfast and I couldn't help but stare back at it, as we drove out of the yard. "We can always come back for vacation if you love this place so much!" He suggested and I met his gaze. "You're leaving this morning?" "Hmm!"

"Here's your purse!" He gave it to me and I took it. "I forgot it!" "You're naughty!" "I don't know why I forget little things this days, most times I even forget where I keep my phone!" I smiled at my foolishness and noticed the frown on Alex's face. "How long have you noticed this?" "Some time now!" He stared out the window saying nothing else and I stared out my own window too.

We arrived back home, and the chauffeur arrived at the entrance of the mansion and we got out. "Go in I'll be with you!" Alex said as he brought out his phone to make an important call and I walked in. 

Frank got out to welcome me along with his maids but Carie was quick to hug me too. "Ahhhhh....!" We screamed and hugged each other tightly giggling to ourselves. We get each other even without saying a word. I just couldn't wait to tell my baby everything that happened last night.

Now my Carie's here, I feel like I'm complete. "When did you get back!" "Early this morning!" I hugged her again and we got into the mansion. We arrived in the lounge, "Hazel Alexander Wilson!" Mother climbed down the grand stairs, I've never seen her this furious before, she even mixed mine and Alex's name together.

"I don't know why you and your husband are so stubborn, what happened to our code of not seeing our men till your wedding day?" She started. "It wasn't my fault mother he came to me an.......!" "You would have sent him away and not go with him. Now tell me did you guys have sex last night!" Her question was so straight forward leaving I and Carie agape.

How can she ask such question?

Alex was engrossed on the phone call with his doctor. Since Hazel said she started to loose memory he felt totally uneasy, scared that she would have the same sickness her mother has since it was inherited. "Sir it could be normal, you said she has been taking her pills right?" The doctor asked.

"Yes I made sure of that!" He moved around the garden. He handed the pills over to Gaius and the man had been giving her the pills regularly. It's not possible for her to have it, when they've been trying to prevent it from happening.

"If at all she has it which I doubt she will, it'll be easy to heal her. Her mother had it for many years before she broke down!" Alex didn't know why this was happening now. She was not supposed to develope anything like this at least not until she's forty or sixty so why is it coming now.

"Sir please calm down. If you still doubt me then bring her for check up after the wedding, maybe then all doubt would be cleared!" The doctor said.

Alex got back into the mansion to talk with the Frank. After giving him the pills and instructing him on what to do, he got back to the lounge to meet his family. Alex had a frown on his face, he's tried to get the thought off his head but he just can't. "Mother!" He walked up to Maria with a smile on his face as he perked her cheek.

For a moment there Maria felt like she's in heaven, ever since Alex has come to accept her as his mother she has been more than happy. Even if she did not birth him she still loved him like a son. "You stubborn child of mine!" She hugged him.

Alex darted his gaze to the girl in his clothes, sizing her with his eyes before letting go of his mother. He walked up to Hazel yanking her to himself as he captured her lips. Their tongue meet for the briefest moment before pulling out. "I have to leave now!" He poked her nose with a smile before leaving.

On getting out of the mansion the smile on his lips faltered. He only hope she doesn't have the same sickness and it's only normal for her to forget things. He got into his car and got to the jet terminal where Lukas and Benson were waiting for him.
