Marriage Contract with a Werefox Prince

"First of all, Mr Saverio I never signed a marriage deal with you. Second, you are my boss and third, you make me cringe!" His brows raised, "Cringe, how?" "Ever since the day I met you, I knew you are the one. How does that sound? Moreover, I do not believe getting married would decrease our possibility of dying." "So you agree with me that those lines are cringe, right? I wonder what those writers were thinking when they wrote them. But I had no choice." Eva couldn't believe her ears. So her boss had to surf through the net to propose to her? Wow, she must be Alice and he must be Johnny Bravo. He clicked his tongue calling her attention before walking towards her. Eva walked backwards and he proceeded until her back hit the wall. He leaned closer, "It's a myth, it's okay if you find it hard to believe, however, aren't you quite tired of the pain you derive when I'm far away?" She swallowed. It is true, whenever he is near her, the pain disappears, however her body begins to heat up whenever he isn't nearby. They were both cursed and the only way to get through is to remain close. This sounded like a typical drama. "Fine. I will sign the deal but on one condition." A smirk came across his lips as he replied, "How many times do I have to say you already signed it?" He paused, his dark blue eyes staring into her ocean blue ones, "Meaning, there are no conditions. The only condition you need to abide is mine." ××× Eva Lee, a young woman lived a free life, however after an incident that took her father's life, she turns into a woman seeking revenge. The CEO Is A Gumiho

However, not driving too far from where he dropped his new secretary, he felt his heart thump in and out. His eyes widened when he realised what was happening to him. It must have been twelve already!

He took his phone and checked the time, and to his surprise, it was 00:27. This was rare for him. He was used to his transition which normally occurred at twelve on the dot and until now, he had not gone into transition. He gritted his teeth as he paused the car. He locked the car windows and grunted, holding his phone to his ear, however, he wasn't too shocked when his phone switched off itself.

Low battery? Damn it!

He almost crushed his phone with his fingernails which were gradually growing into lengthy and sharp claws able to pierce into a cow's skin almost immediately. He couldn't drive, else, his vehicle would end up crashing and people would finally know his secret and identify what he had been keeping from everyone.

He looked at his mirror, the one he always had with him to ensure that he didn't get too angry. When he becomes too angry, his blue eyes suddenly change into bright green ones, which would scare his employees, his clients or his secretary, so he takes the mirror to notify himself beforehand.

Now, the eyes looking at him were the green fiery ones. His smoothly combed silver hair had become bushy as if it was never combed in the first place. His normal complexion had become paler and he knew that soon enough, his furs were going to grow out of his skin.

Saverio bit in the mournful cry that he was about to let out. He definitely did not want to cause any commotion but the pain which he faced every night from the transition was very strong even though he was supposed to be used to it.

Surprisingly it was more painful this time. It was definitely because his transition didn't start at the right time which was something weird to him. However, he was glad that his transition had not taken place when the woman who was supposed to be his new secretary was in his car.

He shook his head, not knowing what kind of scene would have taken place if it had happened when she was here. Though he was a bit safe since the car was completely dark, it didn't skip the fact that his groans would make her suspicious and she would definitely end up being killed by him.

He swallowed as the pain kept going through his body. He knew that without doing anything and sitting here for long, he was worsening the pain and the transition was going to take a while. The only thing he could do to change it was ending up satisfying his hunger like he was used to.

He had a younger brother, Rhian who wasn't his biological brother but was the one who provided him with worthless humans for him to unleash his pain and feed on.

Saverio believed feeding on worthless humans was the best thing to do as he would be quenching his thirst and at the same time saving the world from disaster.

He didn't feed on humans randomly, he ensured that they were either the troublemakers or the ones whose actions broke the rules he called as legal. After having fed on them, he orders Rhian to dispose of him or her in the streets where the people and his relatives could find him and sympathise or shed tears.

Though when this issue became worse in the town, he stopped for a while but that only worsened his hunger.

One thing he noticed was the fact that he always found it funny when the cops of the city claimed that whoever was killing the people was a serial killer who chopped off their hearts as a clue, he was okay with it as long as they didn't find out the actual killer.

Now, he couldn't call Rhian to get him a human nor could he wait for Rhian to get to where he was, instead, he decided to walk out of his car in search of a human himself.

As he walked, a loud groan came out from him as he felt another toss of heavy pain.

His heart was beating fast as if he was out of breath and might fall any minute from now but he looked around the lonely dark street and gritted his teeth again.

He mustn't be found here and he needed to feed right away, else, the pain trotting in his body was ready to exhaust him completely.

He didn't want to get caught on the road, lying unconscious with his humanoid self being displayed. He was sure many pictures would be posted online and he could already tell the headline of the most viewed news, "Shocking news: The CEO of Aweseong Corporation is a gumiho!"

He shook his head at the thought of it and then his mind went back to the woman he had helped earlier. If it wasn't for her, he would haven't been stuck in this pathetic condition that he was in.

A smirk came right on his cheek as he stealthily turned to his left-hand side, back to where he had dropped her.
