A challenge

'Damn it!!' He could barely react, as the brilliant light from the explosion completely filled his vision, blinding his eyes.

Swiish!!

Those few seconds were enough for the other light spears to close in on him, however, Nathan didn't relent on his attacks.

Following his instincts, he swiftly swung his sword around, deflecting six of the nine remaining light spears.

The light spears immediately scattered to the side, piercing into the ground before disintegrating into tiny white fragments.

Despite deflecting a good number of the attacks, Nathan still didn't slow down, hurriedly pumping mana into his legs.

Utilizing the mana swirling beneath his feet, he swiftly leapt backwards, evading the light spear which came crashing down where he previously stood.

Another of the spear closed in on him again, which he quickly evaded by shifting to the side.
