"Then what do you want?" Enopy asked as he kept his cold expression he seemed to be wary of the entity so he kept his distance although he spoke lowly, in his sea of consciousness everything could be amplified it was his home base after all

"Now we're talking!" the entity said as it continued well I think I'll start with your body...and soul and maybe let's throw in that blue thing, and....." The entity made a list of a bunch of things that all had to do with Enopy's body, mind, soul, and the system, but he didn't have any crazy reaction to it as he merely said

"No, but since we're laying out what we want, then I don't wanna be left out" he said before he continued "i'll take all your memories and don't refrain from giving me other benefits of such status" he mocked the trapped entity

The entity stayed quiet but after a few seconds it spoke again

"I'll give you blood Magic and a technique that will help you utilize your power, that you so dearly yearn for as well as a cultivation Technique for the next rank….Acolytes" the entity said it was as if he was giving away candy

But Enopy didn't take the bait as he merely put on a confused expression

"hahahaha you think that you have stepped into the ranks of Magi!? haha! you have barely stepped into the ranks of Acolytes. without a proper cultivation technique your just a waste of energy

"Well since you're offering, I'll take the blood magic but you can keep the rest" Enopy said

He didn't want the other techniques he knew It was probably a one-way ticket to get corrupted and becoming a slave to this unknown entity, the blood magic itself though even if it has such flaws he could use the system and get rid of all flaws after all you can't fully corrupt any type of magic unless you where the creator

The entities stayed quiet as Enopy continued

"But what happened to the rest like you, it's obvious that you didn't come from a different planet or universe or use magic, which is the system of this world so it will only make sense if you are from this world, I just don't know if you're a beast or a human"

"That doesn't matter, why don't you take the techniques I'm just giving them to you" the entity said but after seeing no reaction from Enopy it gave up and moved on

"Well in the war. blood magic was created as it was a way to take it advantage of the dead to increase one's power but when the war ended they hunted the users of this magic down and killed them out of fear for what they could do"

Enopys mind was in turmoil but he kept a straight face as he continued to ask questions

"Why the change of heart, I didn't say I was going to give you anything, so why are you giving me these techniques and the ability to use blood magic?"

"Cause I was ordered to" the entity said in a deep tone

Enopys mind went into a deeper turmoil

"Ordered by who!!?" He said in his head

He kept his straight face as he didn't refrain from releasing his thoughts

"Ordered by who!!?"

The entity stayed quiet as Enopy waited for entire minutes but it wasn't long before he realized that he wasn't gunna get any answers which forced him to move on

"Alright teach me blood magic" Enopy said

Enopy sat in a crisscrossed position within the "air" of his sea of consciousness

After a few hours of explanations the system had thoroughly jotted down blood magic and how to use it while Enopy was completely oblivious to it affects

He had ordered the system to cut off his hearing so as to not comprehend anything about the type of magic he didn't want to accidentally comprehend it and have some on Irreversible effects on his mind and body

After a few minutes they both sat in silence before the entity voice rang out

"My time is up" it said

Enopy was thoroughly confused he knew that the thing had no way to escape the system not the mention his mental sphere so he didn't know why it was talking as if it was dying

"Hahah, you can't leave even if you tried" Enopy said as a smile appeared on his face

"Like I said i was ordered to do this as I am a mere soldier my soul is connected to another I can be killed at any time" it said

This elerted Enopy to the extreme as he commanded the system to tighten its hold on the entity

"I have been used as a camera, a spy, an assassins, and a mere book, but just now does he decide to take my life, huuu" the entity sighed as if it had expected this

It finally clicked in Enopy's mind The entity was actually being used as a camera it was watching him this whole time and the person behind this camera saw everything that he was doing all his progress everything, and now he knew that there was a huge threat somewhere in this world that has been watching him for months

"A soldier or just another body ha!" the entity said is this it was hinting at something The blue cylinder was still intact as the entity seemed to have faded away as if his consciousness died, the dark red liquid remained but now it had become light pink as if it was watered down

Enopy was still thinking so he hadn't noticed but after a few moments he looked up and saw it before he ordered the system to scan it for any information

"It is currently an extremely corrupted energy but once the corruption is gone the energy will be very useful for host. Currently unable to separate the corruption" The system lead him on before dropping a huge boulder on his high hopes

"System show me the bad and good parts of blood magic, and if I am able to use it" he ordered as he pushed the other matters to the back of his head
