Man lost in Infinity

During Luke Silver's last year of high school, he stumbled upon a captivating book at the library. Intrigued, he decided to borrow it. Little did he know that as soon as he opened the book, a peculiar thing happened - his eyes closed. When he reopened them, he found himself in the body of a boy named Lucke, residing in the human kingdom of Kanull in a whole new world. In this strange world , Luke discovered that the world was a vast place, home to seven different races. It was a world where he encountered magic, witnessed the incredible advancements of technology crafted by the elves, and marveled at the artifacts created by the divine gods themselves. However, amidst this wondrous discovery, Luke also came to realize that humans occupied the lowest position in the societal hierarchy. They were confined to the lawless kingdom of Kanull, struggling to survive.

Chaos in Kanull part 5

It has been six days since Lucke traveled to this new and unfamiliar world. His days typically begin with him waking up on the wooden floor next to Cleo, while Ivy peacefully sleeps on the spacious bed. He tried to switch places with Ivy on the bed, but she refused to move, so things remained the same. Every day, he wakes up on the wooden floor, still surprised that he doesn't immediately wake up when he falls off the bed.

Afterwards, he leaves the bedroom to brush his teeth and take a bath, following breakfast, which is usually not very good. Then, he returns to the room where he and Ivy cautiously practice their magic, making sure that Emma doesn't find out.

Over the course of five days, Lucke has been practicing. On the first day, he didn't notice any difference, just like Ivy. On the second day, there was still no difference, just like Ivy. However, on the third day, he realized something different. When he traces the symbol of the creation magic spell in the air with his finger, the line appears for a brief moment and then disappears. Seeing this gave Ivy the confidence to keep trying, but she still hasn't gained the ability to trace the symbol of fire magic.

Five days have passed since they were banned from leaving the house as punishment for entering the sewer. Now, they are no longer banned from leaving the house. Lucke and Ivy celebrate in the room, but Cleo does not. Over the past five days, Lucke and Ivy have noticed that Cleo has been acting very strangely. He mutters things to himself and spends most of his time sitting in the corner of the room.

Worried, Lucke and Ivy decide to approach Emma and Luna, who also noticed Cleo's strange behavior. They try to talk to him about it, but he insists that nothing is wrong, regardless of how much Luna and Emma try to discuss it with him.

Lucke and Ivy are seated in the room, feeling extremely happy about finally being able to leave the house. However, they choose to spend their time practicing tracing magic symbols. Lucke is determined to complete the magic symbol before it disappears, while Ivy attempts to trace the symbol.

Cleo watches them from the corner of the room, appearing extremely tired as if he hasn't slept for days. Yet, he was asleep in the morning and the morning before that. He continues to mutter the same words to himself.

"It is calling me. I can hear its voice. We need its help. We need to embrace the madness, the madness of the abyss."

Lucke and Ivy start to worry when they realize that Cleo's strange behavior began after their visit to the sewer. However, they are unable to help him because they don't know what's wrong with him.

Time went by and suddenly Cleo stood up from the corner of the room where he had been sitting.

"Lucke asked if something was wrong,"

Cleo shook his head and replied, "Nope, I'm fine."

"Are you sure, Cleo? You seem very tired. Maybe you should get some sleep," Ivy said.

"Nope, I'm perfectly okay."

"Where are you going?" Lucke asked. "Don't worry, I'll be right back," Cleo said before leaving the room and closing the door behind him. As he shut the door, he realized something - the door handle had popped off and was now in his hand.

Cleo looked at the door handle for a moment and placed it down on the floor in front of the door. He then walked down the wooden stairs, where he saw Luna seated around the wooden table and Emma standing in the kitchen area of the house.

He didn't say anything and instead walked over to the front door, which he slowly opened and was about to step out.

"Where are you going?"

Cleo turned around and saw Emma standing with a concerned look, while Luna had her gaze fixed on him.

"Please, tell us what's wrong. We can help you, please," Emma said.

Cleo remained silent and shifted his gaze to Luna, who said, "We want to help you, but we can't unless you tell us what's wrong."

Cleo sighed and said, "I'm sorry, but this was never going to work. I don't belong here. I belong in the abyss, where the Abyss King rules over all."

"Abyss King? Who? What are you talking about? You're scaring us. Please tell us what's wrong," they pleaded.

Cleo shook his head and said, "See, I told you this wasn't going to work." He ran out of the house and down the street. Emma started chasing him, but he was too fast, faster than normal. He ran and ran, and eventually, Emma stopped chasing him because she was too tired, gasping for breath as she watched Cleo run further and further away.

"Cleo!!!" she shouted, and suddenly, Cleo was gone.

She returned to the house and told Ivy and Lucke to look around and try to find Cleo while she and Luna did the same. They walked throughout the neighborhood, shouting Cleo's name, but they didn't see or hear him. They also asked the homeless people sitting on the streets for any information, promising them food, but none were able to give any clues about where he could be.

Ivy and Cleo strolled through the streets, with Ivy walking slowly and appearing very concerned. Meanwhile, Lucke remained calm because he wasn't the real Lucke. He thought that maybe the real Lucke would be crying in this situation or suspect that Cleo was playing a prank on them. However, Cleo was never known for playing tricks on people.

Lucke suggested, "Let's go to the sewer." Upon hearing this, Ivy's eyes widened and he asked, "The sewers? Weren't we just forbidden from leaving the house because we entered that place? What will happen if we do it again and get caught? We could be in much more trouble than before. We might even be banned from leaving the house for an entire month instead of just a week."

"I don't understand," Ivy inquired, "what could have caused this? Did anything unusual happen when you and Cleo discovered the secret room?"

"Nope, nothing happened," Lucke replied. However, he suddenly realized something. When Cleo walked around the secret room, he had stepped on something. But he didn't mention it and instead suggested, "Let's go to the secret room. I'm sure there's something causing this. Something must have happened in that room to make him start acting strange."

They walked through the alleyway and noticed that the wooden barrels had been moved. Someone was exiting from inside the sewers. They hid down the alley behind the house and, as they looked, Lucke recognized their ears. They were the ears of elves, just like the ones he had seen in many movies and games when he lived as Luke. The elves were all wearing golden armor and each carried a sword at their waist or on their back.
