Chapter 28 Today was her wedding day...

Till the time dinner ended and everyone was ready to to go there room, Isla was completely drunk. Her head hung low and her long hair were disheveled all over her face. But her petite body still looked so cute.

Grace told Daniel to carry her to her room and winked at him. He understood her. She was giving him the liberty to take his wife. He held Isla in bridal style and carried her to her room in the first floor.

When he reach her room , he could smell her fragrance fill in it. It smelled mixture of vanilla and peach. He just loved it. He then went to her bed and gently placed her on the bed. When he was almost done he felt a small hand still holding onto the sleeve of his shirt. Isla was mumbling something and holding onto his elbow more tightly now. He went closure to her face to make out what she was saying.

"Please don't ..go ...mom. I... will be alone. Mom, please stay with me. There will be no one mom....I am so alone..."

She was holding his elbows very tightly. Tears were rolling down from her eyes.

Daniel wiped her tears away from her face and kissed between her brows, then her eyes. He then gently whispered in her ear, "I won't go. I would never leave you. And I won't let you leave me either. Stop crying now and sleep." She stopped crying and her brows were not frowning anymore. But she was still clutching his arm.

Daniel tried to free his arm from her but her hold became tighter and tighter. She started to frown her brows when felt the hand slipping away from her clutches. Daniel stopped his motion and came forward to her face and said "just don't regret this when you wake up in the morning."

He then layed down by her side in her pink bedsheet, holding her in his arms. She hid her face in his chest like a baby sleeping in mother's embrace and was still holding one of his fingers tightly as if she was scared that he will leave her. He gently caressed her back with his other hand which was under her neck and kissed the top of her head. "I won't ever leave you. " he said again soothingly to her. They both slept.

In the morning, Daniel woke up first as his morning clock hit him at 5:00 a.m. He gently placed Isla's head from his arm to the pillow and kissed her forehead before getting up and going to his room. He went upstairs to his room got freshened up and changed into his tracksuit and went for running.

When he came back he saw every body woke up and had started to prepare for his wedding banquet. The servants were clean every corner of the mension and decorating it. Grace came down from her room went towards the kitchen totally ignoring Daniel. Daniel shook his head helplessly and went towards his room.

In her room , Isla woke up at 7 as usual. She felt a sharp headache. She sat on her bed and rubbed her eyes. She then went to her inner room to wash up and change. When she was standing in front of the mirror, holding toothbrush in her mouth, she remembered something. 'TODAY WAS HER WEDDING DAY.' She hurriedly did her morning routine and came out of the bathroom and went towards the bed to pick her phone before heading down for breakfast. When she reach her bed, she smelled a very musculine fragrance lingering in her room along with the smell of some expensive cologne.

Then she remembered that she saw her mother in her dream. She even remembered talking to her. But strangely, the reply her mother gave to her in her dream was in a very deep voice. It was hoarse and musculine. To her surprise it sounded like the voice of Daniel.

After sometime she connected the dots. It was Daniel last night who sent her to her room. Then she slowly remembered some strange line that he said to her and how she was being clingy. She felt so embarrassed . She couldn't believe that she did that to Daniel. What will he think about her now? She hid her tomato red face in her palms.

After sometime she went to have breakfast as she could not hold onto her hunger anymore.

When Isla reached the dining hall , she saw a very large feast was prepared. Grace came to her and made her sit beside Daniel who was already sitting in the table. He looked at her face and smirked at her. Her face was red due to embarrassment and her blush reached her neck when she again smelled the fragrance of his body along with the cologne that she smelled in her room earlier. He could see how innocent she was, which somehow made her look even more beautiful.

When the breakfast ended , Daniel stood up. "I will take Isla out with me. We will register our marriage and come back by the time banquet will start" He told everyone. He then held the hand of Isla who was still sitting in her chair in daze, made her stand up and lead her out towards his Rolls-Royce Phantom. He opened the door for her and slightly pushed her inside the car. He then himself went in the car from another side and asked the driver to take them to the Luxury Mall which was owned by the Lee group. A group of bodyguards were following them closely in different black cars for security purpose.

After the incident took place, Daniel increased the security around all the Lee family members and the mansion.
