Everything was so dark yet so bright at the same time as if I would've been sitting in the void, under a huge highlight, focusing only on my godforsaken eyeballs. I didn't remember, where am I, or how was I supposed to get here, and so, as I was trying to regain my sight, I searched my memories of the previous hours.

Lucifer.

As his name flashed in my mind, my sight suddenly became clear, and I could see, that he sat across from me, only a strange, white desk separating us - but there was nothing around, not a person, or even something you could call matter - nothingness surrounded us, the only thing saving us both from getting consumed by it, was that we sat under the light.

/"Welcome./" he spoke up, a soft, cunning expression on his face - but he was oddly serious, especially compared to himself.

/"Where am I?/"

/"The purgatory - so to speak. I'll read and evaluate your soul before you can fully enter Hell./"
