Ali :"Yeah, right. I just think Natasha's cool. It's not like I lay awake at night thinking about her."

(Later that night)

Ali :"Uh oh."

"Alright, so you're telling me that I should bond with him?" Ali asked questionably, and Tony nodded :"Yup." Causing him to grow even more confused :"And why is that the plan?"

"Let me explain that." Bruce fixed his glasses as he pressed a button, and pointed at the holographic screen :"You've said that Symbiotes can interfere with the DNA and genetic codex of their hosts to an extent, right?"

Once the black Symbiote nodded, he continued :"Then that might be the key to curing Connors. If you bond with him, then you can control the chemical structure of his DNA and erase The Lizard part! If you're careful and do it right, we might just be able to fix him."

The sentient alien groaned, raising a questioning eyebrow :"I'm just gonna leave the part where you're so sure that I can do that, and ask, are you sure that will work?

What if something goes wrong? Messing with the DNA structure isn't a simple matter, you know? He may either end up dead, or just turn into a freak if something goes wrong."

Bruce sighed as he shook his head :"It's the only option we have at the moment. Also, there's one more reason why I think you can fix him. At this point, The Lizard is like a second personality for Connors.

I know because as you know, I kinda have a similar situation... But anyway, if you bond with him, you can also interfere with his mentality, right? That's how the Symbiotes cause their hosts to get violent, no?

If my theory is right, once you bond with him, you might be able to find the "dead" personality, Connors himself. If you manage to find him, you can also destroy the other personality, Lizard."

The Symbiote hummed thoughtfully :"Hmm... If all goes well that way, I may be able to actually kill Lizard and return Connors back to normal... Sigh, fuck it. Fine, I'll do it."

"Fantastic!" Tony called out with a clap, before Felicia came to the Symbiotic duo's side :"By the way, I didn't know you'd be smart enough to mess with DNA and stuff."

Causing the sentient liquid to raise an eyebrow with an unimpressed face :"It's kind of a racial ability. Also, for your information, my bond with Natasha is at an atomic level. Just messing with someone's DNA is child's play."

His words caused the geniuses of the team to get a bit shocked and interested, but they didn't manage to ask anything, because the host of their interest looked at him with concern :"Isn't this a little risky? Won't his personality affect you?"

But he just shook his head with a smirk :"Don't worry, Tasha. Our personalities get affected by our first host. Key word, first. He isn't my first host, so he won't have any effects on me.

Enough about that! Let's go where he is so that we can finish this already! I'm getting really bored of this whole Lizard drama. So let's get over with it as quickly as possible."

Just as they were about to go, a delicate voice sounded :"Hey, uhhh..." When the Symbiotic duo turned to look, they saw Spidey with his hand up :"Should I bring Billy too? Connors will definitely fight back against Lizard if he sees that his son is actually alive and okay."

After a moment of thinking, Majesty nodded with a smirk :"Sure, go ahead and bring the brat. That will definitely make it easier, since Connors will see the evidence rather than just hearing my empty words."

"Alright, on it!" He called out and rushed towards the medical room that the young Connors was in. As the Symbiote duo, and the other members of the Avengers, went to a huge room, which was used for sparring, they saw the imprisoned Lizard.

"You mammal brains! Free me!" He roared as he thrashed around, trying to free himself of the energy chains that were binding him. However, no matter how much he struggled, he couldn't get away.

"Sorry, bud." The billionaire genius pointed at the giant reptile calmly :"But those chains are made by yours truly. You can kiss the chances of getting away goodbye."

A growl escaped the reptile's mouth as he glared at the philanthropist :"Once I am freed, I will rip you to pieces and feed on your flesh and blood!" But the genius wasn't scared at all :"Oh wow, I'm so scared. Not.

I've heard worse threats. Anyway, Ali, wanna get to it already? Or should I send you a formal invitation first." Causing the Symbiote to chuckle :"Just a simple "please" would suffice, but forget about it. Let's get down with it already."

As his voice dropped, he went back inside his host's body. But instead of staying, he went lower and lower. Once he left her body from her leg, he sliddered towards the imprisoned monster.

The same monster who immediately tried to attack him :"You dare to show your weak side?! You're courting death!" Just as his claws were about to hit the slime, something rather shocking happened.

The cat sized liquid suddenly spread, and jumped towards him. His body expanded to the point where he easily caught the hand, before another tendril went to his neck, then another one went to his other hand, another to his torso, another to his stomach, to his legs, and to his feet.

He didn't have a body, but looked like a giant, black cobweb. Even his slime form wasn't visible. His entire body had become a web that rendered the reptile immobile, binding his entire body, while other tendrils latched onto parts of the room.

The Lizard couldn't even speak, since Ali had tied his mouth with a few tendrils. Even his tail was tied. There were few places which weren't "chained" by Ali's biomass.

Tony, among the people who were watching with shock, curled his lips :"I feel like I know where this is going... And it's not where we were planning for it to go..."

The mutated scientist tried to resist with all his might. However, even without a host, and only as his original form of an alien slime, he could never match Ali's strength.

And even if he could, Ali's Adaptability would just kick in, and his strength would rise to the point of completely stopping him, then to the point of him not standing a chance against him.

While binding him with his own body, Ali slowly slipped inside him. "UGGHH!!" The Lizard squirmed and moved around, trying to get away from the strange sensation of his body getting invaded.

"W-WHAT IS THIS?!?! GET AWAY FROM ME!!" The liquid form of the alien entity seeping into his body through the holes (pores) in his body, not giving him a moment to get used to the unfamiliar sensation. (ಠ⁠◡⁠ಠ)

Even when he entered his body, he didn't free him. The moment he entered him, the tendrils shot out to the room from the same place he had binded a moment ago.

As he entered his body, without giving any benefits to the monstrosity, he started to get familiar with his body, down to his molecular and DNA structure.

Once he mentally copied his DNA codex, he invaded his mind, with the combination of his Symbiotic inheritance and Telepathic powers he got from Jean :"Dr Connors? Hello? Where you at?"

The invader asked, moving around in his "mental world" in his Symbiote Mode. It was dark. Very just. Just dark. There was no light, only darkness as far as the eyes could see.

However, he finally saw a light. Once he got near, he saw something of a ball of light with two doors inside. They were both huge, and facing each other. One door was green in color, with things like veins on it, pulsing veins.

And interestingly, the door was partially open. But there wasn't any light behind the door, so almost nothing could be seen. Just a floor at most. A floor with numerous scratch marks on the ground.

The other door was an ordinary door, a mixture of light brown and yellow. However, there was something interesting about the second door as well.

Almost all over the door, there were huge scratch marks. And not normal scratch marks either. But scratch marks of some kind of animal. A big animal at that.

The scratch marks were big enough to seem like a monster had made them. However, said scratch marks weren't the most interesting thing about this door.

What was the most unique thing about it, was that there was a huge hole in the door. And by huge, as in huge enough for Majesty to enter through.

'Hmm...' Ali thought as he gently drew his hand on the scratch marks :'From just the looks, this door must be where Connors's consciousness is.'

He thought as he compared the two doors :'So does that mean that these marks... Are from Lizard trying to invade Connors's consciousness?

That probably explains why even when in human form, and as Connors, Lizard is still able to interfere with Connors's mentality. And this hole must be from him finally being able to get inside.

He probably succeeded once Connors thought that Billy almost died when he got stabbed. Let's just go inside and see what happens.'

Obviously, you wouldn't be able to go into someone's mental space. Even by force, you still wouldn't be able to do it. Especially someone who has been able to at least hold himself against something like The Lizard.

So Telepathy or other kinds of mental powers were needed, which Ali already had. However, luckily for him, the entrance was already open, and he could easily get inside.

Once he got inside through the hole, the scenery of the inside wasn't much different from what you could see outside through the hole. It was just darkness, but a little different.

It wasn't like a simple void. It was like a room with no light in it. As he looked around, a pair of eyes also locked on him from the corner. Seeing the chance, the owner of the eyes jumped towards the unsuspecting Symbiote.

But shockingly to the owner of the eyes, the Symbiote smirked. He wasn't about to stop his attack, but shockingly, he suddenly stopped midair.

What was shocking, was that it wasn't of his own will. With a smirk on his face, the black Symbiote turned his head, and looked at the attacker :"Sorry to burst your bubble, Lizzie, but sneaking up on me is kinda impossible.

The Lizard, now captured and held captive by Ali's mental power, thrashed around, trying to get off the leash of mental power around his neck :"What do you want?! Why do you do this?! Why do you try to stop us?!"

"Hahahaha, sorry, but it's not like I want to anyway." The invader shrugged with a nonchalant smile :"Honestly, I would've prefered not getting involved with you at all.

It's too bothersome and boring. I would have left you to yourself, but unfortunately, I have a kind of responsibility as a Symbiote. And that is to aid my host.

Aid her in anything and everything as long as it's not something that I hate or don't want to do. And unfortunately for you, she is a superhero. And as a superhero, she can't let beings like you roam around and hurt innocent people.

And unfortunately for you again, that's not something I hate or don't want to do. So that will only leave the option of me helping her out in what she wants to do. Which is stopping you, and bringing back good old Connors back to his family."

"Hahahaha, family?" The Lizard laughed mockingly while trying to take off the leash :"The only family Connors had left was Billy, his young and offspring. The offspring who is dead!"

"Oh? Really?" A demonic smirk appeared on his horrifying face :"It's your unlucky day, cause he's actually alive. Billy Connors is alive, and waiting for his father to come back."

"... W-what?" A quiet whisper came from the darkness, and Ali's smirk widened :"Billy is... Alive? My... Son... Is alive?"
