Slamming my laptop shut, I had just completed my second exam and was delighted with my grade. I leaned back in my chair with a sigh of relief and silently thanked God. Human Anatomy always makes me nervous.
"Well done, Majesty." My professor raved, "No lab today, class. Once you complete your exam, you're dismissed."
Taking that as my queue, I packed my things, waved goodbye, and left the classroom. Making my way down the hall, I saw one of my favorite people.
"How was your exam?" Art had just walked around the corner, arms wide for an embrace.
Rushing into his arms, I hugged him tight. His familiar scent snuggled me; I wished I could be under his skin.
"It was great! Professor praised me for getting a good grade. I don't think it can get any better than that!" I gushed, letting him take my backpack from me.
"Woohoo! So proud of you! This calls for a celebration, and I know just what we can do."
