I quickly hide. Terrified and confused, my trembling legs betrayed me and couldn't move at all, I held my mouth as the tear flowed down my cheeks, denying that maybe I'm overthinking It, but then I heard her calling ...

" Lara... ". It was a soft and sexy voice, the girl was beautiful, way more than me, I can't even compare the two of us.

My heart stopped.

I don't remember anything after that but the doctors said I have been unconscious for a week and I will need another week to recover from my injuries and shock. The hospital room looked so expensive but It was too comfy to complain about the expenses. It's probably a VIP room.

Lara has yet to visit me despite waking up six days ago, Her secretary visited once and Nancy had been with me almost every day, I guess that counts as something,right?

Anyway, today Nancy is going to visit me pretty late because of an emergency at work so I'm alone for the entire day, Not that I really care though.

The sun of York City was at its peak while I buried my head in a new trending novel " Her Holiness Is Gay ", It is so good and It on the top spots in every library, I was flipping the last page when suddenly the door opened,

My eyes brightened as I saw a familiar face, She wore blue jeans, black top and a long white coat. Her long brown hair that touches her back were loose making her one of the most beautiful doctors at Royals Hospital,

" Dr. Han ? "

"It's Megan "

She corrected me and we both laughed, she didn't like it when I called her formally so I have been calling her first name when we were alone, she is so kind that she even gave me the latest trending book which was out of stock before its release date,

Megan whose face always has a huge smile her hands were folded backwards, She then chuckled as her both spear-like eyebrows went up " Guess, What's my on hands " I looked at her excited face, she is a good person and she tried to cheer me up every time she is around, 

" It is the book, isn't it? "

" Taaadaaa! Caught Me!, You knew me so well already"

"I just state the obvious. What is the title this time? "

" So the new book is called The Symbolic Love Triangle Of Mother And Daughters it's...blah! blah! blah! blah!"

She calmly explained but I didn't like it, she is spoiling too much for me " Stop! " I screamed as I snatched the book from her, her eyes widen in awe but then squinted them quickly and gave me the brightest smile ever,

" Can I make a confess? " she asked meekly and I nodded a way more than little. Excitedly.

" I never enjoyed treating a patient the way I do with you "

I shyly smile, I know my life is a mess and I shouldn't be relaxing but I am that shameless, I use every chance I got to pour happiness into my little heart. I'm a helplessly selfish bastard. I looked at her innocent face and smile, she was indeed an admirable woman,

" I-I'm flattered, When I passed out two weeks ago I felt like I was going to die, You gave me courage, I should be the one thanking you ", call me a crybaby because at that moment my sobbing had already reached the heaven and hell,

I shouldn't give up, especially when I have so much debts, I'm not going to die from stress, My heart was so heavy, I was suffocating and the thoughts of how my life comes to be like this is killing me inside out but I needed healing, I can't die anytime soon, I don't deserve it, death is too luxurious for someone like me,

My thoughts were taking me afar and maybe I got a little too sad because I suddenly felt Megan's cold hands wrapped around me, patting my head as she told me it is going to be okay, Well! I hope so too,

But then...

" What the Fuvk is going on here? " I heard the familiar cold voice coming from the door, I pushed Megan away and saw Lara's indifferent expression, It was one of those moments she expressed her feelings,

She wore full black. From her outfit to her expression, the black suit is this season ace outfit from the S.V collection but somehow it is terrifying with the devil-like aura she exuded,

" It's not what you think " I defended but her sword-like side-eye make me shut my mouth up, " Get out! " It was a command, many people will run after that but Megan didn't flinch a bit,

She still had a smiling face which makes me wonder If she was pretending with me the way she is doing now. She picked up the book that fell when I was crying and hand over to me,

" Don't forget to read it, I almost killed a person to get this copy ". She patted my hand before started to head out. She walked to the door and then stopped,

Megan turned back and gave glanced at Lara before her eyes shifted to me, " You look beautiful when you smile little Kay "

With just that she slammed the door leaving Lara with a reddened face, she was insanely mad, and her eyes were about to pop out, she walked closer to me and my heart started to palpitate abnormally fast and not in a good way,

" So this is what you have been doing? " She asked angrily as her sharp eyes glared down at me like some kind of filthy creature, " I'm sorry " Was all I could say however it make her even angrier,

" You never change, do you? " She asked but I couldn't bring myself to answer, she doesn't trust me and she never will, I can't even argue anymore,

" Pay me, pay me with your body, isn't it what you are so good at? selling yourself for money, I'll buy it, just name the price "

I looked at her in disbelief, her face which was a mixture of excitement and anger was looking at me waiting for the answer that she wants to hear, to her I'm nothing more than a whore or less because at least a whore is a human,

She doesn't think I am.

" Lara, can I ask you a question? " I asked in a low tone as my gaze focused down the floor, I didn't want her to see my tears that were about to fall,

" No! " She barked out coldly and my tears couldn't hold any longer, " What are you to dare to question me? " She added angrily.

I heard her footsteps getting closer and closer to me before she forcefully grabbed my chin and pull it up, " Crying again...? Why are you only playing hard to get card to me, you know how to bitch up when you are with others why not me? "

" You're hurting me? " I cried.

" Fuvk, Are you doing this to me because I took your virginity? Don't be so old-fashioned we were just fuck buddies, isn't like we were in love in love in a first place, were we? "

I raised my head, shockingly, is she for real? " Take that back? " I said angrily, she was going too far, how could she degrade my love like that? I loved her, and she loved me, We both burned for each other, Was It a lie?
