CHAPTER 12

LILIANA'S POV

We immediately went to the headmistress's office as soon as Raven left. When we went inside we saw her writing, she did not even glance at us.

"What the hell is that?" Brent asked

"What do you mean?" the headmistress asked while continuing what she was doing and didn't bother to throw us a glimpse.

"Why did you include Raven in our group? Did you know that she will only be harmed by what you did? Everyone will bully her even more!" I said annoyed

It's not that we don't want raven to be in our group. We are more than happy that she is already in our group, the problem is that everyone will bully her even more and that is what we do not want to happen. We don't want to put her in any danger. She's too fragile and kind she did not deserve those treatments.

"Oh? That? Well I have my reason why I let her in your group." the headmistress said

"What are you planning to do?" Zach finally spoke as well

"She's a genius you'll need her in you're missions"

"How can you say that she's a genius?" troy asked

"She's the only one that perfected all the exams. She even surpassed all of Zach's scores. She's a genius when it comes to academics. Even those who have not been taught to you, she already knows even though she is new here. She's smarter than anyone even to all you." said the headmistress

We were stunned. Really? She perfected all the exams she even surpassed all of Zach's scores? This is so unbelievable! No one has surpassed Zach when it comes to academics. Raven was just the first.

"And there's more," said the headmistress her face suddenly serious. This is the first time that I have seen her get serious. Usually, she is always smiling.

"What is it?" Chloe asked

In an instant, we came across a door. We roamed our eyes and saw we were in the Magisch academy hospital. Yeah, Magisch academy not only has a clinic but also has its own hospital.

"What are we doing here?" I asked

Instead of answering, she opened the bedroom door. She went inside so we followed her immediately. My eyes widened at what I saw.

We saw Isabel sitting on the side with her hands covering her ears.

"Shhh... Shhh.. Don't be too loud Beatrice she might hear you." Isabel whispered

Beatrice? Isn't she dead? Whom is Isabel talking to? Wait! Don't tell me-

"Yes. She already lost her sanity. She suddenly went crazy after her fight with Raven." the headmistress said that made us gasp.

I suddenly covered my mouth with what the headmistress said.

"Is the effect of Beatrice's loss on him really so bad that he went crazy?" I asked, frowning when I saw the headmistress shake my head at what I said

"It's not because of Beatrice. It's Raven's fault. She put some unbearable illusions on Isabel's mind that made her completely lose all her sanity. We can't figure out what illusion she put on Isabel that made her like that." the headmistress said

Raven did it? But how?

"But how?" Chloe asked and there was a look of pity on her face

"How can Raven do this? She's only staring at each other the whole fight for Pete's sake they didn't even have a real fight!" brent said with disbelief

"Maybe she's physically weak but she's mentally too strong. Do you know why the illusionists became rare? Because the tenebris killed them. The illusionists became a threat to the tenebris not because they're physically strong but because they are mentally powerful Tenebris think that there is a good chance that Lux's will win against tenebris through illusionists. You should not underestimate the illusionists just because they're physically weak. They can make you crazy and the worst is that they can kill you when you were not able to get rid of the illusion. Because the illusion is formed inside the brain. So it is more difficult to fight. You are under an illusion. Illusionist targets the brain and your heart especially your emotions they can read through anyone with the help of their power." the headmistress explained

Raven's power is not a joke.

"Isabel," Chloe muttered

Isabel looked at us as if she had just noticed us because she was busy talking to 'Beatrice' which we did not see.

We saw her eyes widen. She was even more frightened and squeezed herself even more to the side.

"You?! What are you doing here? Maybe she followed you! She'll kill me!! Beatrice! Hurry hide! Maybe she'll be here in no time to kill you! Hurry!" she shouted and the nurses quickly grabbed her.

I also began to wonder who is she pertaining to. She keeps on mentioning HER as if she's pertaining to someone but we have no idea who is she referring to.

"Shhhh! Shhhhh! She's coming!! She'll kill me! She'll kill you! She'll kill all of us! She will hunt us one by one until there will be no one left." Isabel got, even more, went berserk as she said those words until the nurses put her to sleep.

We immediately went out of Isabel's room because the nurses said Isabel might get even more lost when she saw us. When we left the door of Isabel's room, the headmistress and I were in the office immediately.

"Now do you understand why I put her on your group? And that's not the sole reason I put her in your group."

Is there another one?!

"I wanted you to keep an eye on her. I wanted you to observe her without her knowing it. We're not sure if she's really an ally or a foe. If she's a foe we need to kill her immediately because she'll be a big threat. A dangerous one. Now you can go away." the headmistress said that shocked us to the core.

"But headmistress!" we would have whined when we saw that we were already outside the headmistress's office.

Geez!

"What are we going to do now?" I asked I'm so thorned right now and I know we all feel the same. We can't kill Raven we owed her so much and most of all she's our friend and you don't spy and plan to murder your friend.

"What else? Of course, we will follow the order of the headmistress you know when we don't follow her we will be held accountable even if though we say that we are Royalties in this school the headmistress we should still obey her because she's still the headmistress after all," said Chloe

Until I got home, what happened in the hospital was still on my mind. Then add what Raven said before the power leveling.

What exactly can an Akisha Raven Scott do? Who really is she?

ASH'S POV

"Fine! Hmph! Why so grumpy always ash?" she said and even though I could not see her I knew she was riding on my back- a piggyback ride to be exact.

Why am I seeing the young me? Who's this little girl? Where am I? Her face is blurred. Is this some sort of my memory? But how come I don't remember this scene?

My kid version made the girl sit down and then put a bandage in the girl's wound. I looked closely at the band-aid. I think that design has two crowns. Crown for a queen and king and there's an initial engraved on it. A.A.

A.A.? What does that mean?

"Caro!!"

I was suddenly taken aback by that voice. Who is that? Who is Caro? It was a woman's voice that spoke. Where did that come from? I suddenly grabbed my chest when it suddenly throbbed so fast. As if something was squeezing my heart. Why do I feel joy and sadness when I hear that voice? It was like I felt when I first saw Akisha. And another question who is the girl in my dream?

Many questions run through my brain. I saw I was sweating profusely. I forced myself to sleep because it was already two o'clock. But I can't sleep anymore. I got up quickly and changed my clothes. I'll just go jogging first. I was about to leave when something fell. I look at it and saw the mysterious keychain. I don't know where and from whom it came. Just one day I just saw that in my belongings. It is a round keychain with the words 'Always in my mind forever in my heart' written on it and the wings pendant placed next to the circle. Every time I worry about where that came from, my head just hurts so I don't remember. I quickly took the one and then put it in my drawer. I don't know why until now I still keep this keychain.

I hurried out of our men's dormitory. Because the boys 'dorm is separate from the girls'. Then jogging. I was halfway through jogging when I heard something.

Is anyone still playing the violin today? Maybe one of the royalties? Because non-royalties are not taught to play musical instruments. But did they wake up in the morning today?

I do not know but I suddenly grabbed my chest. I feel my heart clench and at the same time excited. I did not know that it is possible to feel joy and sadness at the same time.

I think that sound is coming from the music room. I slowly opened the door and peeked. I think a woman is playing. I can't see her face because her back is facing me.

Now that I was close to her I can hear her music better. Her music is superb and pleasant to listen to but it seems that something is missing. I just don’t know what. Suddenly my heart beats rapidly for some unknown reason.

My head suddenly hurt. Then suddenly images appeared in my brain. The girl was with me again, my child version was sitting and just looking at the girl and listening to her play. The girl also plays the violin. My eyes widened as they were playing the same woman in the music room! Who is this girl really?! And why is she always with me?! Why does my child version always smile when the girl is with him? Who the hell is she in my life?!

I opened my eyes when my headaches slowly faded and the sudden appearance of those images in my brain stopped. I quickly looked at the woman who was still playing. Suddenly she turned her head to the side causing me to see her face. My heartbeat went wild when I saw the woman was playing the violin.

Akisha...

She plays the violin with calmness and grace. How? How can her music be this overwhelming that it's hard to believe that she's the one who's playing it? Her music was really out of this world because of its beauty.

She slowly opened her eyes and her eyes landed on me. She was right when she finished playing. She quickly lowered the violin.

"What are you doing here?" she asked

"Why does anyone say I'm not allowed to come here? Also, why are you playing early in the morning? Don't you know that you're causing a disturbance because your music is too ugly?"

Lie. That sounds like the best music I've ever heard in my whole life but it still seems like something is missing.

"Liar. I can see it in your eyes. You're into my music" she said while staring at me.

Shit! Why is she reading me?! Maybe mind reading is really her powers and not illusions?

"Who taught you to play?" I asked to divert the question.

"Nothing. I was the only one who taught myself" she said

Seriously? Is she the only one who taught herself? Then she must be really good when it comes to music.

"You love that music huh," I said

"Think what you want I don't care," she said nonchalantly and rolled her eyes at me

She hates me that much huh. She walked towards me. I have a door. When she got in front of me. She halted.

"Don't tell it to anyone," she said frowning at me

She doesn't want to tell to anyone? She can be famous if there will be more people who will know and hear her music!

"Why? You can be popular if I told it to others" I said and she just stared at me.

"Do you think I want to be popular? I don't care about fame Ash. All I want is peace of mind." she said

Then I remembered that she agreed to be a slave because she wanted to have a quiet life while she was here.

"If that's what you want then fine," she said then she passed me

Who exactly is Akisha Raven Scott? Why do I have a big feeling that you have many secrets? Who is the girl that was always with me when I was still a child? Who was the woman who spoke to Caro earlier? Women are such a pain in the ass!
