CHAPTER 3

Morning was quick to arrive bringing with it a lively mood in the village. Children could be seen playing,,men looking after their cattle and sheep while women were busy with house chores. This was what would greet someone early in the morning in Wittleland village.

At the Wells' household, Frank was helping his father in looking after the cattle while Susan was doing the house chores. Even though it was not necessary for her to do the house chores due to her condition,,Susan had insisted on working.

Frank was happy as soon he was going to be an elder brother, anyone in his shoes would wish the same. He had promised to dote on the unborn child just like an egg .

As days passed by quickly,, while people were sleeping,, Susan felt an intense pain it seemed like the time to give birth had arrived.

When Robert decided to go and ask for help,, Susan declined not wanting to attract unwanted attention incase something went wrong. Robert obliged and together a baby was born successfully bringing a bright smile on his face. If the smile could be converted to light,,it was enough to lighten up there hut. Susan being tired from the pain fell asleep leaving her daughter in the hands of her husband and son.

When morning arrived,,it was like a new beginning to the Wells. Frank was greatful and glad to have a young sister and it was time to spoil her .

They named their baby as Victoria. It was a name which Frank had suggested and his parents willingly accepted. They believed that one day she will emerge victorious and will fulfill her family and lineage of white witches who were entitled to bring peace and love. With her ability they hoped that it would never cause harm to anyone.
