Chapter 24

Calvin visited the palace so that he could rejoice in seeing the queen and king dead. Being Aiden's friend he pretended to visit him just like a friend would. Aiden was happy to have his friend who had been busy with work for the past few days. Elsa asked him to join them for breakfast.

When the trio arrived at the dining hall, King Malcom and queen Marsha were waiting for them to join them. Both Calvin and Elsa could not believe how they survived. Nara said she had done has she was asked to. If they were still alive and kicking that meant their plan failed once again.

Not wanting to show their disappointment they greeted the king and sat down to have their meal. Sophia came to help Rasmus in serving the meal. When Aiden saw her he pretended that he didn't see her. While the food was being served king Malcom saw his son having two bracelets that were identical adorning his hands. Where did he get the other one.

" Aiden, where did you get another bracelet?" Curious, king Malcom asked which gained the attention of everyone in the room. Sophia hoped that the prince would not utter rubbish.

" This was given to me." With a smirk he replied wanting to see Sophias reaction which she showed none.

Elsa and Calvin had not seen the bracelets before but now that they saw it they wondered if it was a normal bracelet or just like the one he had.

" Where did you get the other pair?" Queen Marsha asked remembering what Siera said about the bracelet being a pair. If this was the real bracelet then his son was well protected but where did it come from?

" I got it the same way I got the first one. It was given to me by someone." He did not go on to explain. Sophia was greatful for that.

What a white lie thought Sophia,,he tricked her and here was saying that he was given.

" What is the purpose of those low quality bracelets after all they are of no value to you." Calvin declared.

Aiden continued with his meal not trying to explain anything.

Once the meal was over King Malcom left the palace for some important work,, Aiden and Calvin went to discuss about their work leaving Elsa and queen Marsha.

Queen Marsha excused herself to go and visit Siera. Elsa decided to go to her room. The servants cleared the table afterwards.

" Aide has found another identical bracelet but I don't know whether it is real or fake," queen Marsha explained to Siera.

" It's a real one." Siera confirmed to the queen who was shocked. Siera's doubt had been cleared about the young girl working in the palace.

Siera discovered that Sophia was in the palace twelve years ago during the time the prince recovered. Sophia also had a bracelet just like that of the prince. Siera came into the conclusion that Sophia was a white witch who saved the prince before and she was going to save him once again. The problem was that the girl did not know about her ability as seemed she never used her ability. Sophia was not Ana's daughter thought Siera.

" But Aiden refused to say where he got it." Marsha went ahead.

While queen Marsha and Siera talked, Elsa tried to contact Adele so that she could demand for some explanation. Adele could not appear as it seemed the barrier was stronger than before this meant that her suspicion was right. If one bracelet was that powerful how were they going to achieve their mission.

Leaving the palace, Elsa asked one of the palace coachmen to accompany her somewhere. Reaching near the forest located far away from the palace she left the coachman behind. Walking on the dry land that was very quiet and the only noise was from her footsteps. When she reached the furthest end, she summoned Adele who appeared but with an angry face.

" You good for nothing girl I made you get married to the prince so that it could be easy but instead you failed. Now I have to make my presence in this side of the land. Do you know how dangerous it is for me?" Adele could not believe that she expected this girl to be of any help.

" I tried all my best but it seems like something is always around to help. Now he has two bracelets." Elsa explained while bowing her head.

" The prince was not supposed to have those bracelets. One was a mistake but I am sure someone is helping him. If you were keen enough you would have noticed the change but you are immersed in Calvin's love that you forgot your purpose.

With the two bracelets the prince had a stronger protection unlike before. But what was wrong was that a white witch was still alive. If the prince had all the bracelets that meant the white witch's power were no longer under control.

" You have to find a white witch who is helping the prince. There is no way he could get the other bracelet from nowhere. I hope you can find her otherwise I will destroy you, your family and that mother fucking lover of yours." Adele disappeared at once.

How was she going to find the white witch who was helping the prince if he refused to talk. She was not ready to lose her loved ones at any cost. Tonight she was going to ensure that the prince consummated their marriage even if it meant risking her life. They had come a long way to lose the battle.

Elsa left to return back to the palace. She had to prepare herself to look enchanting for the prince.
