As Max scanned through the extensive list of kitchen equipment, his head began to spin like a whirlwind.

The sheer variety and the numerous options laid out before him were beyond anything he had ever imagined.

It was like stepping into a treasure trove of culinary tools and gadgets, each one promising to elevate his cooking to new heights.

On one hand, excitement coursed through him. The prospect of acquiring these fantastic pieces of kitchen equipment filled him with joy and anticipation.

The thought of owning a set of tools that could refine his craft and make his culinary creations even more extraordinary was incredibly enticing.

Max could already envision himself expertly wielding these kitchen marvels, creating dishes that would amaze and delight anyone who tasted them.

On the other hand, a sense of prudence nagged at him. With his hard-earned Chef Points, Max knew that he needed to spend them judiciously.

The prices displayed next to each piece of equipment were substantial. While he had acquired a significant number of Chef Points, he didn't want to deplete them all at once, especially with the prospect of needing them for future endeavors.

A feeling of frugality swept over him, urging him to be selective and thoughtful about his purchases.

Max realized that he needed to strike a balance between fulfilling his desires for high-quality equipment and being mindful of his available resources. This was an important decision that could shape his culinary journey significantly.

With a deep breath, Max closed the status panel and headed straight for a refreshing bath.

"Are you sure, Max? You don't need anything?" Edward asked. They were standing in front of the inn, with Ana by Edward's side.

"No, no, Master. Whatever you've done for me is more than enough. I could never repay your kindness. You gave me a home when I had no roof, you provided food when I had no money. What more could I possibly need?" Max replied, his gratitude apparent in his words.

"No more bootlicking, hahaha. You have talent, Max, and that is what's more important. If it were any other chef, they would have done the same," Edward said with a warm smile.

"Alright, I've already booked a wagon. It should arrive anytime now. You two have a good chat. I've got work to do. Take care, Max," Edward said before heading back to the inn. He left Ana and Max standing in front of the inn.

"Thank you, Master. Please take care as well," Max expressed his gratitude as he watched Edward head back into the inn.

Edward served as a paternal role model in Max's life, and his departure left an indelible impact on Max's heart.

Yet, Max recognized that in life, everyone is destined to embark on their individual journeys, eventually parting ways.

This separation served as a profound reminder of the transitory nature of human connections and the inevitability of individuals charting their own paths.

"Max, I sincerely wish for your successful mission in Dani Village. I, too, have a connection to an orphanage, albeit one that has sadly met with destruction. Nonetheless, I hold hope that the orphanage you come from is thriving and doing well." Ana's words broke the silence, carrying an undercurrent of shared experiences and genuine concern for Max's endeavors and the welfare of the orphanage that played a role in both of their lives.

"Sure, thank you, Ana," Max replied with a friendly smile as they waited for the wagon.

The wagon, drawn by horses, arrived at the inn while Max and Ana were deep in conversation about their past and their time together.

"Your wagon is already here, Max. I hope for a happy journey," Ana said, a tinge of sadness in her voice. Their close bond over the past month made parting difficult.

Max smiled and reassured her, "It's fine, Ana. You can contact me through the magic crystal that Master gave me. Hehehe. Once I achieve success, I'll definitely invite you to the capital."

"Then I'll eagerly await your invitation," Ana replied with a warm smile, her eyes reflecting their strong friendship.

"Yes, I am coming," Max responded as the wagon master called his name.

"I have to go now, Ana. We will surely meet again," Max said, and with that, he boarded the wagon. The wagon fees had already been taken care of by Edward, which would help Max travel to Dani village, and from there, on to the capital.

As the wagon rolled on, Max gazed out of the window, leaving behind the familiar sights and sounds of the inn that had been his home for the past month.

He felt a mix of emotions – excitement for the adventure that awaited him, gratitude for the kindness he had received from Edward and Ana, and a sense of purpose as he thought about the main quest to support the orphanage in Dani village.

A new journey awaited Max in a world beyond the inn.
