Chapter 2 - Queen Is Back

Richmont's POV

I stared again at the note etched on Greg's body. The man is said to be the thief in GH. How many more times will they kill before they stop what they are doing?

Chess Pieces are gone. The Chess Pieces they were looking for were long dead. Coinciding with Lily's death, was also the end of Chess Pieces. Lily was the Queen Piece of our former group.

I felt a look so I simply turned around. Like what I expected, Rain was looking at me. He wants us to be reunited but I objected. If she can keep Lily alive, I will. But I know he can't.

I left their group and took a breath. It's been three years since Lily died. I saw what exactly happened but the only thing that I did was stared at her while her opponent killed her.

Rain's POV

I feel sorry for the innocent victims of what Bloody Mary is doing. By the time this year started, they had killed more than twenty people just to get us out.

I stared at a red mask and a pair of red tshirt, jacket and slacks. I miss to be a Knight. I miss all the battle that we won. I really miss my group.

I lay down on the bed inside my dorm. If only Lily hadn't died then we would still be together. And if Richmont hadn't just blamed himself we would still be complete.

Happy, bloody, full of fights and full of money are all around us.

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. At this time of night, is someone knocking on my door? I immediately took the kunai from my drawer and headed for the door. I opened it and immediately tossed the kunai. I didn't feel anyone but I saw a piece of paper on the floor. It is overlaid with a stone. I picked it up and looked.

"The Queen Piece is back. Meet her at the Old Building." I read what was written.

Regina's POV

"We need to bring the group back." carving me by Steven. Her childishness is working again and I hate it. I don't like everyone forcing me into something I can't do.

"For how many times will I tell you that I can't decide on that matter. Only Rich can decide about this." I try to calm myself so I don't scream.

"But a lot of people are already affected. Look! Bloody Mary won't stop if we don't come out to face them." I just shook my head. He has a point. That BM has been affected a lot. And until now, I still haven't met them. Yes! They are our mortal enemy in DC but we always wear masks so we don't know them.

I was about to speak when suddenly there was a knock. Seriously? Is it a sensible person to knock at twelve in the morning?

"Maybe it's BM." I said.

"Be ready!" he knew and slowly approached the door.

I counted on my hand. One. Two. Three. He immediately opened the door a strong wind greeted us. No man or trace at all.

"There's a paper!" Steven said and pointed to the paper on the floor. There is a stone on it.

I picked it up and looked at what was written.

"The Queen Piece is back. Meet her at the Old Building."

My heartbeat quickened. Many questions ran through my mind.

First, maybe it's just a trap for the people of BM.

Second, maybe it was just the work of some of our group back then.

Third, it might just be another student's trip.

I don't know if I should believe but since Queen is the one in question here, I will try.

Lyka's POV

I was already inside the old building said in the letter. I can't believe what's written there. But that's why I'm here to find out who foolishly used my bestfriend's name.

Eventually I felt a movement behind me. There is someone. I prepared the sword I was holding. And ...

"Lyka/Reg." we once said Regina. The sword he was carrying was pointed at my neck. My sword was floating in the air above his head.

"Don't tell me you also received the letter?" I asked.

"Obviously!" she answered.

"Where's Steven?" I asked again.

"He's helping Rain. He got hit, so his face almost broke."

"Steven hasn't really changed."

"Wait! There is someone coming!" she said so we also prepared.

"Richmont?" I heard a voice call from outside. I think it's Rain.

Later they entered where Regina and I were. It was a bit dark in the room we were in but there was light from the poles around the entire campus.

"The whole gang is here!" said Steven.

"Were not a gang anymore. I'm just here to identify the person who used Lily's name." Richmont said wearing an emotionless face. He did changed a lot after Lily's death.

"Me too!" I said too.

"I think you're complete." When we heard that voice, our hands moved automatically. I prepared my sword. Regina raised her katana. Steven is in attack mode because he's no weapon at all. Rain, handed his pocket. The kunai must be there. And Richmont, his daggers were stuck between his fingers that he was ready to throw anytime.

"Relax! Chess Pieces. I'm your Queen. And the Queen Piece is back!"

And a woman appeared wearing a mask very similar to Lily's. A white mask with feathers on its edges. She was also wearing a white tshirt, jacket and skirt up to her knees.
