6. A lie I called for

As those words escaped my mouth everyone in the room looked at me...Adrian was especially surprised...even i was surprised. Yes its true that weirdly no death occurred in the arson...not even that old man's corpse was discovered but I was surprised when i found myself lying over such case...there is no going back.

Mr.Han opened his mouth "Are you sur-"

"A 100 percent, he was not this jerk. He was a soft person as per say."

"So? Now what?" asked Zara. Before Adrian can open his mouth i spoke "We keep him in our custody and try to find some evidence against him!" I said with full confidence as again Adrian's head shot up in my direction again but this time it was me who looked at him with a cold gaze.

"Very well then, I agree with you Armin!" Zara spoke. "Me as well Miss Armin!" said Mr.Han as he lowered his gun while giving Adrian an aggressive look while he just weakly smirked at him. Mr.Han untied his hands from the arms of the chairs but both of his hands were still tied with a handcuff. Afterwards, We silently made our way out.

"That wasn't half as bad as I expected for things to occur." said Zara while Mr.Han nodded in agreement. I excused myself to make a call, when I returned, both were still talking about him... "Officers one of us always must be on duty with him, we can take equal time shifts of 8 hours each starting from now. It is indeed dinner time so if you both are hungry, you can both go and I can start the duty." Mr.Han spoke. I sighed and shook my head in disagreement, I wanted to be alone and that room was the only room here that was...well comparatively the most lonelier. "Sir I shall start with the duty, I am not even hungry." I said

"Are you sure? don't you need sleep" Zara asked. "yeah I am sure and no I don't need sleep." I responded. I am going to be restless either way and I have lost my appetite; so why not help them.

"Okay then Miss Armin you go, its nine so we will exchange duties at five in the morning! But i hope we find enough evidence till next week because I can't wait to shoot him in the head" Mr.Han said as I slowly nodded in horror, grabbed the button of bracelet and the keys etc and saw them leave. I slowly made my way inside with my head down low. I felt his gaze on me but I didn't even budge an eye in his direction while trying my best to avoid him. I grabbed the rotating chair that was across the table in front on him and sat down leaning on my back and closing my eyes. He was right in front of me, he was in front of me and we didn't spoke a word. I felt his eyes on me so I turned around lost in my thoughts. I felt his foot steps moving but I didn't even do anything.

"Don't do anything or else.." I said as I showed him the button in my hand while lazily pointing the gun upwards at him. During all of it, I didn't even look at him but I knew exactly where he was standing. After some seconds I felt some thing pressing against the front part of the gun, I shot open my eyes and saw him standing there with my gun on his chest. "Back off or else I swear I will press the button." I said with as much intimidating persona I could possibly have. He didn't care and still moved forward. The gun was still touching his broad chest so he gently pushed the gun out of the way and moved forward. He grabbed the arms of my chair while pulling it closer to him and he knelt down on his knees to match the level of where my face was, his eyes were directly looking in mine. We were just 12 inches (1 ft or 30 cm) away from each other. I lowered my gun. He grabbed the button unit from my hand and accidentally pressed it, now his expressions did expressed the pain, I grabbed the button from his hand and put in on the table.

"That hurts like hell" he spoke...those warm eyes and sweet voice were back. He gave a small smile in my direction but I diverted my gaze slowly away from him. Was I shocked? yes, Am I scared? Yes.... "I mean that both the electric shock and seeing you here..." he paused "....both are painful, especially seeing you this cold."I kept quite, don't blame me but I was on the verge of crying and I wanted to hug him....I liked him so much, I told him everything he asked and he still didn't trust me with such a big thing about him, I am scared for him. i felt tears build up in my eyes ..."Armin listen I-" before he could have finished his sentence, unknowingly the palm of my hand met his face with so force that it caught him off guard and caused him to stumble to his left....since the slap was on his right side of his face. I quickly realized what I had done, my shifted towards him as he was looking at me and then my gaze shifted towards my hand in horror....there was blood on my....I slapped him on the same side where Mr.Han hit him with the gun, so the blood that hardly stopped from flowing, started to flow again just because of me...."what have I done?" I softly whispered to myself with shaking voice....He came in front of me and grabbed my hands. I was in horror about what I have done because of my hasty reflexes which caused the shock to drip down my face....."I didn't.....Adrian...I didn't ....."

He just pulled my hands towards him and pulled me in some sort of hug and I released my hands from his and hugged him back, my face was now resting on his shoulder near his collar bone and lower neck..."I know where this is coming from....I am not mad and I know you didn't mean to slap me." I just stayed quite. It was nice...until....I actually grasp the seriousness of this situation, immediately breaking away from his embrace, I spoke "You....You need to tell me where your subordinates are, they are planning to execute you as soon as possible! Is there someone in your mafia gang who knows me?"

"well there is my best friend Blaise who knows about you..."

"Blaise? That friend of yours that met us at the museum?" i asked..

"Yes....and yes he is also in mafia...." he said as I looked him in shock.

"yeah I got a hunch so I.....actually now listen, tomorrow I will make sure to bring my phone, so you should call him an-"

"And no matter what, I won't be able to escape...."

"Adrian its possible if you receive help from someone inside...me"

"No....NO no no no! You even lied on this case and its dangerous for your job."

I presented my point while he just looked at me with sorry eyes...."Aren't you gonna ask questions...about....." he said while looking down...

"I don't know how to explain this but when you left that day, you did gave a pretty strong hint, i knew already....it was my heart in denial..." I said while looking at his hands that were in handcuffs."How long are you here for?" he asked while playing around with my fingers. "Till 5 am" I replied ..."Its 10:30 already, time flew by quickly when you are around..." he said as he moved towards the desk and sat there. "when you said you liked me....was that true or wa-"

"that was hella truth, I still do...actually no, now I like you even more because you remain to your stance and once again became my knight in shinning armor....or maybe a knight in uniform?" he said the last sentence in such a seductive way that I was speechless, I felt a heat in my cheeks. He noticed as his smile turned into a devilish smirk. He grabbed my hand and pulled me forward that caused me to yank out of my seat and in between his legs. Our faces were a few inches apart. He swung his arms from my head to my waist like a hoop. I wanted to kiss him so I grabbed his collar to bring him closer, "Adrian?" I whispered when he looked at me in the eye. I traced his face with my ring finger before continuing, "may I kiss you?". For a second, he remained frozen before the feeling hit him. He nodded so I pulled him closer while he grabbed my waist more strongly, reaching to make me closer to him while his lips-
