"Hey, why's it so empty here?" Damian voiced his confusion, scanning the ballroom with a perplexed expression. Unaware that the first night of the event had already concluded while he slept "peacefully" in the rooftop garden, he found himself oblivious to the fact that it was now the second day.
Cian didn't bother sparing Damian a glance, fully focused on the tense standoff with the Baphomet.
"Hey, you guys! Where is everyone supposed to be?" Damian asked once again, but neither Cian nor the Baphomet responded. Their eyes remained locked in a standoff, fully aware that a single wrong move could lead to their failure. Sophia, too, was too terrified to acknowledge Damian's presence.
"It seems we've been interrupted..." the Baphomet commented, his attention still fixed on the grenade he held. "Perhaps we should conclude our business for now."
"How am I supposed to get any sleep at night when someone as powerful as you is gunning for me?" Cian retorted.
