A 17 year old boy was laying on the bed in a small room, he layed motionless, staring blankly at the ceiling. His black, curly hair fell across his forehead, some strands falling between his eyes. His piercing brown eyes fixed on a spot, unmoving. His handsome face, oval but strong and passionate belied the turmoil brewing within.
He had a small device strapped to his leg, one that would deliver a deadly shock therapy if he tried to leave the building. He had been in that building for five years and has never stepped out.
And the shocking part was the building was a rehabilitation centre, but that was just a nice way of saying Juvenile for psychos. It was a place where children and teenagers are forced to stay for certain time but while receiving particular therapy. It was like a prison but without the bars and wardens, it contained just therapists and nurses.
The door opened and a female nurse peeked through
"Jayden, your guardian's here. Time for you to finally check out," she said with a sweet smile
Jayden rose from the bed, grabbing his neatly packed duffel bag. He glanced around the room one last time, committing the sparse space to memory, before heading out with the woman.
They walked across the corridors as Jayden kept glancing around, looking at all the angry faces staring at him. It made him remember why he was there for five years.
Jayden was always known for his impulsive anger, and he had a hard time controlling it. He wasn't always like that but a year after his mother died he suddenly began to develop rage which only worsened with each passing day
The family who took him in after the death of his mother would worry for him and try to help, but he would shun them and sometimes yell at them, breaking things and even getting himself hurt
He didn't do well in school either, Infact it was much worse. When he first arrived at the school, he was an eye-catching individual because of his beauty and charisma, but as time passed the other kids started to despise him
Jayden would shut everyone off, remain in his own weird world, alone and angry. At first it was fine as the kids just thought he was weird. But then he began to lash out and yell when he was annoyed, and so everyone stayed away from him
And soon, different rumors began to spread about him, someone had discovered that Jayden came from village settlement, which was very unusual and even an almost impossible thing given the very advanced state of the world. And this coupled with his rage earned him the name 'Beast Boy'.
Jayden never took it to heart when the other kids mocked him, afterall he was just a 11 year old kid dealing with two losses. He would get very angry but would hold it in for the entire day, before heading to the forest to release it on the trees.
But on a particular day, his twelfth birthday to be precise, instead of the normal greetings and celebration a person would receive. Jayden was rather showered with insults from his classmates, it made him mad but he held it as usual
That day, the taunts had escalated. And a boy, emboldened by his peers, sneered at him. "Hey, Starrk! I heard your mum fuck beasts. Guess that's why you're called beast boy!" he stated with a chuckle, and the entire class burst into laughter afterwards.
The words ignited a fire within Jayden. He couldn't hold it anymore, the boy had insulted his mother, there was no coming back from that.
To everyone suprise, Jayden suddenly dashed towards the boy, he grabbed his neck and began punching him in the face, he was carrying a deadly aura of fury that the classmates didn't dare interfere, they could only scream and watch as Jayden crushed the boy's windpipe and left him unconscious
But even with the boy already passed out, Jayden kept hitting him, and it wasn't until a teacher finally interfered did Jayden stop. He was sent to the principal's office with a bloody fist afterwards.
It was a very serious case, as the parents of the boy were very influential people in the society, but the man who took Jayden in wasn't a commoner either. The parents called it an act of murder, as none of the children had taken the Evolution serum yet and so didn't have healing factors.
The government had stated that children under 13 years of age shouldn't take it due to certain effects. But luckily the boy managed to survive with a few healing potions and medicines.
After a series of trials with the school council, Jayden was forcefully sent to a rehab that dealt with anger management and therapy, where he was to remain for five years.

Jayden approached the reception counter with an indifferent expression, he filled some forms and the restrainer was taken off his leg. He looked around the place one last time before walking out of the building. He was finally free, but as for being cured of his rage, that was only a question even the therapists asked themselves.
The nurses could only stare at his figure as he left, in a way they were wary of him and finally felt relief as he was leaving for good.
As he walked out of the building, the warm sunlight enveloped him. Before him stood Jacob Smith, his mother's close friend before she died. and the man who took Jayden in after her passing.
He stood beside a floating red sports car. The vehicle's aerodynamic design and glistening silver coat seemed to shimmer in the light.
The car was similar to an old day Ferrari or Bugatti, but was thrice the size. It didn't have any wings or windfans underneath but yet it was floating. Humanity had managed to defy gravity and discard wheels.
"Hey, kiddo!" Jacob exclaimed, his smile warm.
Jayden's expression remained neutral. "Jake."
Jacob chuckled. "Good to see you too, Jayden. You've grown fatter since our last encounter," he joked, but Jayden didn't even forge a smile.
"Everyone is excited for your return, they want to see just how much you've changed. I'm the only one who has really seen it," he added
Over the past five years, Jacob had been visiting Jayden constantly, checking up on him and filling him up on certain things.
As they entered the vehicle and soared into the sky, Jayden felt a thrill he hadn't experienced in years. But his face showed no expression
The therapy had worked in a way as Jayden no longer expressed his anger, Infact he never expressed much of anything anymore which was the mystery to his therapists.
"Jayden, I know it's been five years since you spoke to anyone outside that building besides me," Jacob began, "but you should try and make friends and connect as well,"
Jayden's gaze remained fixed on the horizon.
"I know you never really bonded with the family," Jacob continued, "but I hope this time will be different. You're older now, and..."
"I'm still the same," Jayden interrupted, his voice low.
Jacob's expression turned sympathetic. He smiled wrly "Give it time, Jacob. I'm sure he's changed, he just needs friends this time around," he thought as they entered an estate filled with elegant houses
The car descended onto a landing pad beside Jacob's sprawling mansion.
As they entered the house, Jayden was greeted by Jacob's wife, Harleen, who gave Jayden a warm embrace and held his cheeks, she was very happy to see him
She was a woman in her early forties, a brunette with an elegant stature and nice curves, brown eyes and large bosoms
"Jessica! Tasha! Get over here and greet Jayden," she called out to her daughters
"We're here mother," Tasha said, as she and Jessica walked down the stairs.
They were the same age as Henry and both girls were very beautiful brunettes, they had slender but curvaceous bodies and impressive breasts. Jessica had brown eyes like her mother and her breasts were larger than Tasha's
While Tasha had sapphire coloured eyes and a bigger ass than her sister, both girls were incredibly hot figures.
But Jayden wasn't fazed with their appearance that much. It had been five years since he last saw them and he had to admit that they had developed quite well, but he kept a straight face
The girls on the other hand were stunned, they knew Jayden had always been handsome even as a kid, but now he had become even more charming and irresistible
Jayden was 180cm tall, with a firm, muscular body, a beautiful face with pinkish lips and alluring eyes, he fitted well with the black leather jacket on him coupled with the silver necklace he wore
But the indifferent, uncaring and penetrating look was still there, and for some reason, he had an intimidating aura. It made the girls wonder how much he had truly changed.
Tasha's smile was warm, but Jessica's eyes narrowed.
"Hello Jay, it's so great to see you again after all this years," Tasha said with a smile, as she approached Jayden. She wanted to give him a hug, but his deadly eyes were giving her mixed feelings. She finally just decided to stand in front of him and stretch her hands
"Good to see you too," he replied in an indifferent tone, taking her hand and shaking it, not out of courtesy but of familiarity
"Yay, you're back, great to see you," Jessica said with sarcasm, she wasn't really happy with Jayden coming back to live with them. She'd rather have him remain in rehab for an eternity
"I'll be going back to my room now, I've got things to do," she added before heading up the stairs, back to her room
"Don't mind her, she's had a rough week," Tasha giggled
Jayden merely nodded
"Jayden, we've prepared a new room for you." Harleen explained
"Yes, why don't you rest a bit." Jacob added "Then we can discuss later,"
"Okay," Jayden gave a simple answer
"I'll take him to the room," Tasha chimed in with an innocent smile "Jay, come with me." She said, before walking towards the stairs
Jayden picked his bag and followed her to the second floor, they arrived at a door and opening it revealed Jayden's new room. It was moderately sized, with a king-sized bed and some other furnitures along with an empty closet
"Okay, why don't you settle in first. I'll see you later," Tasha waved before leaving the room
Jayden shut the door, and placed his bag on the floor, he sat on the bed and took a deep breath, analyzing his new but familiar environment, he went over to the desktop sitting on the table and turned it on
He entered the internet and browsed a few things, from news on earth to that of other planets, learning about the significant occurrences from the past few years
Then he searched on a particular topic: [Mecha]
The results showed large, bulky robotic looking suits, they couldn't even be called suits anymore, they were more of vehicles made to look like armours, giving off this transformers vibe
This was one of humanity's great inventions, the armour were created from heavy metal coupled with the same energy used in all their techs. It is strong enough to face various attacks and deal damage of it's own with its blasters and other weaponry.
Jayden then researched on famous mecha users, they were all agents of the EVA and all ordinary humans. He wanted to be a mecha user as well, which was why during the five years in the rehab center, he had built a strong and healthy body for himself as that was the number one requirement to wield a mecha
Another was age, the least age requirement for the mecha training program was 18, and thankfully he was almost there
"Just one year left then I can begin... begin my search for you," Jayden muttered, as he clutched unto his crescent necklace
He kept scrolling and browsing through the internet, looking for more details he could find on becoming a renowned mecha user.
