HIS LIFE

"Where is that brat?" Mrs.Hutchins asked as soon as she walked into the ceremony premise.

"Oh God! She is looking for Noah." One of the worker hissed as he looked at the lady who stood by the gate with eyes fuming in anger.

"Where is he? If I find him anywhere, then that's the end for him." She cursed while searching among the workers.

"Should we cover for him?" Dan asked walking forward to Morgan.

"As always? She won't believe us even if we try to do so. Last time I tried to cover for him, she ended up beating the hell out of me."

"MORGAN!"

"Why is she screaming my name now... gosh, she just loves to hit me." Morgan cursed earning a small chuckle from Dan.

"Go on bruh... I will root for you." Dan said bringing his fist up in the air and mouthing the word 'fighting'.

"Mother, I am he-here." Morgan said as he walked to the lady who was already glaring at him.

"Where the hell is he and this time if you are going to lie, be ready to be spanked... tied to that tree." She groaned while closing the gap between them.

"Mo-mother, he came by and then went somewhere. I re-really didn't see him after that."

"He came by? Are you sure that is the truth?" She asked poking the boy's forehead.

Morgan nodded his head multiple times to avoid getting tied to the tree as he knows the lady never gives false warnings. She sighed while moving away from the boy and sat on the nearby bench with hands on his head. Morgan knew how she must be feeling at the moment because Noah is not living up to expectations.

"Mother, please don't stress." Morgan said as he took a seat next to her's.

"What can I do? He is being a rebel since birth and I can't help but answer everyone on his behalf. He should learn to be responsible by now."

"I am sure, he would get back to track soon."

"What makes you think that? I have struggled a lot to bring him to this place without anyone's help and instead of making me proud, he is letting me down everywhere."

"Mother... he is our happy place and the only one who knows to enjoy life. We need someone who can motivate us and help us get better and that is Noah. Not everyone has to train for war and indulge in fights... he can help us in other ways." Morgan was trying his best to calm the lady.

"These are all good for words but in our pack, only fighters are valued and I don't want anyone to see him inferior." The woman breathed out as tears started pooling in her green eyes.

"HELLOOOOOOOOOO BORING CREATURES." A loud scream and shout was heard from distance as it loudened to a limit everyone flinched.

"Oh crap." Morgan bit his lower lip worriedly hearing the brat's voice echoeing.

"I will teach him a lesson."

"No mother, please let it be.... at least he is here now." Morgan tried to stop the lady who was about to burst out.

"Why?"

"I will talk to him mother. You don't have to worry about him now."

"I AM FINALLY HERE TO INSPECT THE WORK... GUYS MAKE IT FAST, I WANT IT TO BE FINISHED SOON AND IN COMPLETE PERFECTION." Noah mimicked Oliver as he is the one who always walks around commanding.

"Look at him being ignorant." The lady bit her lips in anger.

"He is just lightening the situation." Morgan felt embarrassed in rooting for a boy who kept messing up the situation with his silly acts.

"Really?" The lady asked as she got up from the bench walking to the boy who was standing in between the woods and planks which was being nailed to form a frame in the entrance.

"He is doomed." Dan whispered to Morgan who just sighed waiting for the drama to start.

"WHY ARE YOU ALL BEING SO LAZY, PULL THAT WOOD OVER AND NAIL IT TIGHTLY. YOU ALL WANT IT TO FALL ON MY HEAD?" Noah asked waving his hands from one side to other to block the sun.

"Who the hell are you to talk about the laziness of these people? You are the only one who is of no help." The lady said pulling the boy's ears.

"Ouch ouch!" Noah whined as he followed the lady without his ears being torn off.

"Where were you, huh? You are literally having fun here as always without being useful." She scolded the boy in the given chance.

"Mom, my ears." He sulked trying to get out from her grip.

"You have been messing around a lot just because I went easy on you but not anymore." The lady said twisting his ears.

'Mom, it hurts."

"Remove this coat and get to work like everyone else. I will be watching you so don't even think about running from here and if you choose to disobey me, you will never see your Lego again."

"Why do you want to bring my cat into this, geez! I will do the work so let go off my pretty little ears."

"Mother, let him go." Tom ran into the scene and separated the lady.

"Uff, is it red?" Noah asked showing his red blood shot ears to Tom.

"Go and do your work or I will make your whole body red." The lady growled as her eyes slowly changed colours.

'Okay fine fine. Don't change to that creature." He showed a disgusted face as he walked to the other side along side Morgan and Dan who were waiting for him.

"Dude, I am tired of covering for you." Morgan hissed pulling the boy away with him.

"I am sorry, this is my life which is being ruled by my mom. She is not a wolf but a demon with horns and tail." Noah huffed as he folded his hands over his chest and stomping his foot hard as he walked behind the boys.
