OUR NAVIGATOR

this chapter starts of with our amazing Nami looking through some draws and shelves, seemingly trying to find some.

her search unfortunately gets cut short as a few men dressed in pirates gear were wondering round the entrance to the room she was in and saw her rummaging.

pirate 1 : " hey, what are you doing here"

pirate 2 : " hey isn't she that girl who tried to steal bosses map"

pirate 1 : " it is, get her"

Nami didn't want to be caught so she looked around the room to find an escape and her eyes locked on an open window.

jumping through the window lead her to the roof of a building below her and climbed down as fast as she could to get away from the pirates who were not far behind.

managing to get to the bottom of the building she ran through the streets to lose them however this proved trickier than planned and she was soon out of breath.

witht his she only had one other option and that was to fight. when the men arrived at the location she turned to face them and ready to fight for her life.

BOOOOOOOOM!!!

??? : " AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

CRAAAAAASSHHHHHH!!!

dust flew everywhere, both Nami and the pirates were confused on what just happened.

pirate 1 : " something fell from the sky"

pirate 2 : " yeah, but what is it"

the dust was still in the air but a few seconds later it had cleared enough for a figure to be visible from the dust and it looked like it was wearing a hat.

??? : " Damn, that cannonball really saved me"

the dust had cleared up enough for the figure to take on characteristics of a man with shorts on and a red vest shirt but most importantly was the straw hat on top of his head. this was Luffy.

Luffy : " well it's a good thing I landed on land"

Luffy now looks up to see the pirates and Nami standing on either side of him. Luffy remembers this happening and that he saved her from the pirates.

Luffy : " looks like you need help"

Nami quickly thinks up a plan

Nami : " b-boss! you came to save me!"

Luffy : " don't you mean captain?"

Nami: " well anyway, I have to leave these guys to you, byyyeeeee!"

Nami ran the other way and around a corner, now that she was out of sight, Luffy looked at the three pirates standing a few meters away from him.

Luffy wanted to deal with these guys quickly and used Soru to disappear and reappear right Infront of the pirates. then he gave all of them a punch to make them unconscious.

Nami, now on top of a building sees Luffy still standing while the three other guys are on the floor. she yelled to him and wanted to give him something as a thank you.

she treats him to some food and asks about him.

Luffy : " well, I heard about a good navigator on this island so decided to invite them to my crew"

Nami : " yeah, well I'm the best damn navigator you'll ever meet"

Luffy : " them why don't you join my pirate crew"

Nami : " pirate?..I hate pirates more than anything in the world, I only like money and Mikans!"

Nami walks over to the wonder and was getting ready to leave however she noticed that there was still a bunch of pirates outside.

Nami : " Hey, I had a change of heart but I need you to do me a favour Ok?"

pirate 3 : " Captain buggy, the their came back on her own"

Buggy : " whaaat?"

Buggy looks to where the big lipped pirate was pointing at and saw that nami was coming towards him while holding Luffy tied up by some rope.

Buggy : " well, what do we have here?, why are you back so soon?"

Nami : " I had an argument with my boss and I'm just sick of him, he's really annoying"

she brings out the map and hands it over to Buggy.

Nami : " I'd like to join the Buggy pirates"

Buggy looked at the map and then looked back at Nami.

Buggy : " HEH-HAHAHAHA I like you girl, very well! you may join. men throw him in a cage and let's throw a party to celebrate our new crewmate"

and so the group of men and lady partied fir a while, drinking and eating as much as they liked untill Buggy decided he wanted some entertainment.

Buggy : " Men! prepare a special Buggy bomb"

the crowd cheered and hollered in anticipation of the event however a few were not happy with this namely Nami and Luffy, so Luffy decided he was going to voice his opinion.

Luffy : " I wouldn't do that if I were you"

Buggy heard this and told everyone to quite down so that he knew who it was to which Luffy repeated himself for a second time.

Buggy : " oh, really and why is that"

Luffy : " because that's not what a pirate does, destroying innocent people's homes"

Buggy listened to what Luffy said and looked down at the ground while in his chair....then he started laughing and had a sadistic smile on his face.

Buggy : " hey, new girl, why don't I give you a present, a Buggy bomb to blow him up"

Nami was surprised and looked a bit uneasy but kept up her act and tried to pick a new topic of conversation.

Nami : " let's just enjoy the party an-

Buggy : " Do it now, this is how I party"

the crowd behind her started chanting " fire fire fire" over and over again, this was clearly making Nami unconformable and Luffy could see this.

Luffy : " Nami, don't worry about me and trust me, light the fuse"

Nami was confused now, she didn't want to kill anybody but if she didn't she would be dead and her chances of saving her island were zero then.

Luffy : " Nami..trust me"

Nami looked at Luffy and saw his eyes. they were calm even in this situation and somehow this made her feel a little better. so she grabbed a match stick and struck it against the box.

the match stick was on fire now and she placed it closer to the fuse until it was touching, lighting it in the process. the fuse became shorter and shorter untill it withered to the very end.

BOOOOOOOOM!

The canon was set of and the ball flew out at an incredible level of speed. it heading straight for luffy's cage and was about to hit it...until.

BOOOOOOM!

A massive dust cloud was formed when the Buggy bomb went off and no one could what had happened untill it clears. still this didn't stop the pirates celebrating and cheering at the explosion.

It was only after the dust cloud had settled and they stopped speaking and the music had stopped working.

why.

well, because Luffy wasn't blown up...and neither was the cage he was in, instead he was now a 10 or so meters away from where the Buggy bomb was aimed at and standing next to him was Zoro.

Zoro had managed to make it in time and saw that Luffy was about to be hit with a canon so he rushed to his cage, picked it up and move out of the way just in time.

one nami saw this she was instantly relaxed and felt like she was about to cry from joy but her thief skills kicked in and took advantage of the distraction.

Luffy : " man am I glad to see you"

Zoro : " what on earth are you even doing? first you fly off on a bird and now you're in a cage?"

Buggy : " so your the famous pirate hunter, have you come for my bounty?"

Zoro : " no I'm not a pirate hunter anymore"

Buggy : " well, you still ruined my party so now I want some payback"

zoro sighs and turns to face Buggy, getting into his three style stance and ready to fight.

Luffy : " WAIIIIIIT!!"

everyone turns to face Luffy to see why he stopped the battle only to see him get in a wired stance so that his feet are flat inside the cage floor.

Luffy then put his back against the ceiling of the cage and push hard. the cage started to move and cracks formed on it.

soon the cracks started to become openings and eventually the cage couldn't hold anymore and Luffy burst open, shattering the stone cage.

he was still tied up by the rope so he used a bit of strength to snap it open and he was finally free. everyone aside from zoro were surprised and had their mouth open at this show of strength.

Luffy : " that's alot better, anyway, Zoro you should stand down for this fight"

Zoro : " don't worry I can take him"

Luffy : "No, that Buggy guy has a devil fruit. no matter how many times you cut him, it won't work on him"

Buggy : " well now, you really know how to ruin someone's fun, yes I ate the bara bara no mi and now I'm a splitting man"

Buggy suddenly charged towards Luffy and Zoro but he stopped suddenly and his hands came of his body, speeding towards the two much quicker than before.

luffy easily grabbed both hands, surprising buggy, and didn't let go. he squeezed hard so that buggy would want to retrieve his hands as soon as possible.

when he let go, the hands went back to Buggy, and he was so relieved he didn't notice that Luffy had run up to him and had his hand stretched out behind him.

Luffy : " GOMU GOMU NOOOOO PISTOL!!!!!"

luffy's fist came back at a rapid pace, so quick that Buggy couldn't dodge.

POOOOWWW!!!

the force of the punch sent Buggy flying backwards into dozens and dozens of buildings. the rest of his crew were beyond surprised and looked at Luffy as if he was a monster.

atleast most of them did, three of crewmates that buggy had actually stood up and wanted to fight back.

Luffy : " Zoro, you take the guy on the unicycle and I take the guy on the lion"

Zoro : " got it"

Zoro got his Katanas ready, one in either of his hands and one in his mouth.

THREE SWORD STYLE

Luffy walked towards Richie with Mohji on top of him, ready in his stance.

GOMU GOMU STYLE

Cabaji rod in on his unicycle and sword in hand, heading towards Zoro.

Luffy : " zoro, be careful, he can blow fire from his mouth"

just as he said that, Cabaji lifted his scarf to make way for the burst of fire that sprouted from his mouth, luckily zoro managed to just about dodge it, some hair being burned though.

this move left an opening for zoro so he took it and prepared his attack.

Zoro : " ONI....GIRI!"

SLIIIIIIT!!

Cabaji was taken quickly and Zoro was not hurt.

Mohji ordered for Richie to charge towards Luffy at full speed. normally any normal person would have been terrified of this however Luffy didn't move from his spot.

when Richie was close enough, Luffy fucked right before he could bite him in half and went under his belly. there he grabbed his front foot and flipped him forwards just like in karate.

Mohji and Richie have bean defeated while Luffy comes out victorious.

once Luffy was done with his fight he went to look for buggy again, using observation haki he was able to find him trying to crawl away from the fight near where he had originally landed.

Luffy sprinted straight to him and surprised him again. he grabbed him and used observation haki to sense where the closed island was from here.

after that he aimed and put alot of strength into THROWING Buggy towards the island and hopefully not in the sea.

Luffy : " that should do it, now where is nami?"

with observation haki, he located her in the treasury room packing up all the gold and jewelry she could see into bags. he ran towards her location and found zoro on his way.

Zoro : " where do you keep going?"

Luffy : " I'm going to our navigator, come on"

now Zoro and Luffy were heading to where nami was and in just a few minutes they had arrived.

Luffy : " Do you need some help?. it looks heavy"

nami was exhausted from pulling the really heavy bag of treasure so she didn't complain and took Luffy on the offer.

soon they made it back to the docks where they took a medium sized boat for themselves . Luffy had opened the bag and tossed a few of the gold and heels on the dock.

he made sure she wasn't watching because it would lead to him being punished but he knew he needed to do it for the town.

and so these three made their way of the island and were on their next destination.
