A LIAR AND A CAT

so from now on there might be some stuff that is similar to some other one piece time travel fan fics but I'm only using the idea not just straight up copying the chapter so when you see it don't say I just copied it I only used the idea. ok.

also I am going to use Episode of the east blue for the east blue saga but I'll still keep some of the important parts in.

the sun was shining brightly on the glimmering ocean below it. it shown raze of warm light on everything and the clouds were far and few apart.

it was beautiful day and the breeze from the wind just made it even more relaxing for the 3 on the boat.

it had been a few days since they left orange town and they were heading to the next island on the map for supplies and the going merry of course but only Luffy knew that.

Nami : " so why did you want to go to this island specifically?, you really seemed excited"

Luffy turned to face nami and gave her an answer.

Luffy : " we'll need to get supplies and hopefully a new boat but I really wanted to recruit someone on this island"

Nami : " and who's that"

Luffy : " his name is Ussop but I never actually meet him before, his dad would talk about him all the time when I was younger though"

Nami : " so you've never met the guy but you want to recruit him, you really are insane"

Luffy : " shishishishishishishishishi"

meanwhile on gecko islands, in the small town of Syrup village, a long nosed Man was running through the streets shouting about pirates attacking the place.

this alerted everyone in the village and they got their pitchforks and spades ready to fight but not the pirates, instead it was for the man running and shouting, also known as Ussop the liar.

Ussop would do this everyday, waking up everyone in Syrup villiage and then they will run and chase after him untill they lost interest or would lose him entirely.

old man : " come back here, you brat"

skinny woman : " I'm gonna shut that mouth of yours"

little kid : " hey wanna play pirates later"

it was a regular occurrence for everyone and they have gotten used to this, most of the time they just play along with Ussop for the fun of it since it's the only thing that livens the mood around here.

so as they were chasing Ussop, he moved around a few trees and climbed one to get away from them. successfully losing them Ussop pat's himself a job well done and waits for them to leave.

Ussop: " right, now it's time to go see her"

when they do he climbs down the tree and makes his way to a certain special person he talks to everyday.

a short while later he makes his way to a mansion that sits atop a hill and climbs over the gate. he goes around the mansion and up another tree where he is now Infront of a window leading to a blonde girl on the other side.

she opens the window and just listens to what Ussop has to say today, showing her enjoyment by laughing and giggling at his funny stories.

this went in for a few minutes untill they were interrupted by three children. Ninjin, Piiman and Tamanegi.

Tamanegi : " Captain Captain, there is t-t-terible news, p-pirates and coming to a-a-attack!"

Ussop was surprised to hear this news and was planning to run and hide but he heard that there was only three of them he headed straight to the shore and to see what was going on.

when he arrived he saw that there really only three of them and they looked pretty easy to beat.

when Luffy had landed on shore he looked around for Ussop with his observation haki and saw that he was hiding in some bushes on the cliff just Infront of him.

Luffy : " hey, you in the bushes, I can see you"

Ussop was startled by him noticing he was in the bushes but he gathered his courage and stood up to face the pirates.

Ussop : " I AM THE GREAT CAPTAIN USSOP, LEADER OF THE 8 THOUSAND MEMBER USSOP PIRATES"

Nami : " you're lying"

Ussop : " yikes she through it"

Ussop started to panic at this and walked in a small circle thinking of another plan. zoro noticed this and spoke his mind.

Zoro : " so this is the guy you wanted to recruit,he doesn't look like much to me"

Ussop heard this and wondered why would they be here to recruit him of all people.

Ussop : " wait, did you say you wanted to recruit me"

Luffy : " yeah but first I want to eat something, why don't you treat us to some meat"

Ussop wanting to hear more about the recruitment, took the three to a restaurant just like Luffy instructed.

Luffy then proceeded to talk about yassop, Ussop's dad and how they meet. Ussop was having a thrill listening to Luffy what his dad is like.

this went on for a half an hour before Luffy asked Ussop a question.

Luffy : " oh right, so Ussop, do you know anybody who would be willing to lend us a boat since ours isn't that good right now"

Ussop: " oh well the only way I could think of that would lend you one would be Kaya but she is I'll right now and the one in charge of her wealth is that uptight butler"

Nami : " who is that"

Ussop : " Kaya is the one that lives in that big mansion over there. her parents died of an illness not that long ago and now she has inherited all of their wealth"

Nami : " forget it, we'll just go somewhere else for a ship"

Zoro : " now that our bellies are full, we should go look for some supplies"

the two went their separate ways and Luffy and Ussop ate as much as they could before finally leaving the restaurant and went down to the cliff side to watch the ocean.

the two kept talking about Yassop and pirate stuff until they noticed two people at the bottom of the cliff

it was a man in a butler uniform talking with someone weirdly dressed. Ussop knew who it was, it was klahadore, kaya's butler.

klahadore : " I'm hoping the preparation for the plan are done"

weirdo : " yeah, we can it anytime..the rich girl assassination plan!"

klahadore : " don't call it that Jango"

Jango : " sorry, it was an accident captain kuro"

Kuro : " don't call me that either!"

Jango : " yes I understand"

kuro : " all you need to do is make it look like an accident and that the will is written to me, that way no one will suspect a thing"

Jango : " I know, using my hypnosis will make it easy, just make sure you give me a share"

these two started laughing about how they were going to kill an innocent girl and Ussop heard the whole thing. he immediately ran back to the villiage and tried to warn everyone of the oncoming slaughter.

no matter how many times he tried the villagers were just laughing it up like they usually do and not taking it seriously however some did think that Ussop was putting a bit more energy in today's act.

most had gotten tired of the shouting and they just went back inside to rest and the few that stayed still thought it was just another lie like usual so Ussop stopped trying and left somewhere secluded.

luffy, Nami and Zoro followed him and wound up at the beach, under a cliff side.

Ussop: " it's because I'm a liar that they don't believe me, I should've known from the start"

Nami : " but pirates are gonna come right?"

Ussop : " yeah but everyone thinks it's a lie....buts that's why I'm gonna stay and fight and make sure it stays a lie. I'm not gonna let my lies hurt the people I love and place I the cherish most"

Ussop's words were heard by the trio and they decided that they were gonna help Ussop and protect this villiage with him.

the night came and went in a flash and the four were now waiting on the path leading from the shore to the villiage.

Luffy : " I don't see them"

Ussop : " mhhhh they should be- no what about the north shore"

they started running towards the opposite side of the island where the pirates were just getting of the boat and running up the path and to the villiage.

Luffy knew what would happen to Ussop if he didn't do something about this now. he found some trees and stretched out his arms so that they would grab onto the branches and then he let go of the ground.

this sent his and what ever was Infront of him flying into the sky and back down near the north side of the shore.guees who were Infront of him.

zoro : " AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

nami : "AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Ussop : " AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Luffy : " shishishishishishi"

the pirates didn't stop coming, when they were close to the top of the path, a few of the pirates were knocked of their feet by a hit in the head from a small ball.

just off to the side of the path, Ussop was hiding in the bushes shooting the pirates with his sling shot, he was her because Luffy had instructed him to hide and shoot, not in plain view.

Ussop had managed to knock out a dozen of the pirates before they finally figured out where Ussop was hiding and they charged straight for him.

right as one of the pirates was about to attack Ussop with a giant stone hammer, he was cut down by Zoro who was instructed to protect Ussop and slash down any pirates.

Jango was at the bottom of the path, where the shore was and he was watching all of this happen. he decided he was going to need to use his secret weapon, hypnosis.

but when he reached in his pocket to grab the circular blade, he couldn't feel it in there and searched his other pockets as well but no luck .

Nami : " looking for this"

Jango turned his head and saw that nami was was holding his hypnosis catalyst, he liked around and noticed that there were no pirates around him, all of them had ran towards Ussop.

Jango : " he was a distraction"

Nami : " you got it"

nami grabbed her three piece bo-staff and swung it at Jango, managing to hit him in the head leaving him covering his head and shouting out in pain but he want done yet.

Jango : " dammit girl, I'll get you for this"

Jango ran toward her but nami swung her staff again only this time Jango moved to the right and dodged it.

nami moved back to try and get further away from him however Jango grabbed her legs and she fell to the ground.

Jango : " I'm not letting you go"

Jango held onto her legs but in doing so he let himself wife open for a clear hit.

Ussop : " SPECIAL ATTACK : EXPLODING STAR!!"

the small but powerful ball flew through he air almost as if it was in control of where it was going and came in contact with Jango head.

BOOM!

a small explosion straight to the head left Jango completely defeated and Nami safe from his hands.

Nami : " thanks Ussop!"

a bit further down the path and into the forest, the butler of the mansion was making his way to the shore to meet up with his crew before starting his plan to kill Kaya.

Luffy : " where do you think your going"

kuro turned to face the one who was speaking to him and saw that Luffy was sitting in a tree, not knowing who he was kuro just informed him and kept walking.

Luffy : "don't ignore me, kuro"

kuro turned again but his time intending to stay since he just heard someone calling by a name he shouldn't know.

kuro : " who are you and how do you know that name"

Luffy : " I'm monkey D Luffy and to answer your question, well it was obvious as soon as I saw you, former captian of the black cat pirates"

kuro knew now that he had no choice but to dispose of this boy who was so casually talking to him about secrets he shouldn't.

he was already wearing his cat claws and he decided to put them to use. raising his hand and swinging it at Luffy to make sure he cut him.

but before he could reach him, he had disappeared almost like he teleported. kuro knew what this was.

Kuro : " how can you use stealth foot, it's my technique"

kuro was searching around for Luffy since he disappeared but he couldn't see him. Luffy then reappeared behind kuro and punched kuro in the head but only to knock him to the ground not to injure him.

once he was on the ground, Luffy stepped closer to kuro so that he would be just above his head, luffy squatted to the ground and faced him.

luffy : " no it's not and its called soru"

Luffy let kuro to get up, which he then proceeded to attack luffy without care who it was. he used stealth foot to move around and catch up to luffy who was going easy on him.

kuro : " it doesn't matter what you call it because i will beat you and you'll regret doing that"

Luffy just waited for kuro to attack and then he dodged again and again and again untill Luffy had enough and stood still for kuro to come and attack him directly.

kuro : " now your mine, boy"

kuro came swinging with both hands and intending to chop Luffy up into small pieces but when his claws came to touch Luffy they were stopped, it was as if kuro had hit rock.

they wouldn't budge an inch, so kuro tried stepping back to rethink his strategy but Luffy quickly grabbed his blades with haki coated hands and held on.

kuro : " wha-what are you doing, no, your hands should be but open"

Luffy : " it's another technique that allows me to harden my body so that it's hard as a rock. it's called Tekkai. oh and it also lets me do this"

Luffy tightened his grip on the blades so hard that they started to crack. he tightened even more until the blades shattered into pieces.

kuro had a face of shock and fear at what Luffy had done. " what is this kid, h-how is he able to do this, this wasn't part of my plan" kuro thought.

Luffy : " do you the difference between you and Ussop"

kuro : " you mean that coward"

Luffy : " coward...shishi, yeah a coward that's what you call him,ok but what kind of coward faces a hundred pirates just to save his villiage when he knows he can't beat all of them and when that same villiage doesn't believe him when he tries to warn them about those pirates. honestly, the only coward is see ..is YOU!"

Luffy had enough of talking to this coward and released a wave of conquerer's haki at kuro and all the pirates at the north shore, making sure to not hit any of his nakama.

this lead to kuro's eyes rolling back into his head and completely losing his consciousness, at the north shore the pirates all started to stop where they were and collapsed to the ground, leaving Nami,Zoro and Ussop puzzled.

Luffy grabbed kuro and dragged him to where his nakama were and when he got there he instructed them to find some rope and all the pirates together.

after a few hours had gone by the four were in the mansion where Ussop explained all of what happened to Kaya and showing proof with the pirates they dragged with them.

all of them had gotten some rest and ate a good meal when Luffy had asked for one of the butler's if they had a transponder snail. Nami was confused on why he needed one.

Nami : " why do you need a transponder snail?"

Luffy: " I need to make a call"

Nami : " to who"

Luffy : " marines"

Nami : " oh ok....WHAT"

Zoro : " why are you calling the marines, were pirates"

Luffy : " I just need to get something ok"

a few days had gone by now and the four were already on their way on the ocean. a marine ship had come to the gecko island. they got a call in that there were some pirates with bounties on their heads located here.

when they got on shore, one of kaya's butler was waiting for them so that he could escort them to where the pirates were. when they arrived at the prison, they saw that kuro was still alive.

this was some big news and they wanted to know who defeated them, Kaya explained that some other pirates had come by to resupply when they bumped into eachother and the black cat pirates had lost.

news of the black cat pirates losing to another pirate crew was sent to marine HQ and the message that was sent was " THE BLACK CAT PIRATES WERE HIDING OUT ON GECKO ISLAND AND THEIR CAPTAIN KURO IS STILL ALIVE, THEY WERE DEFEATED AND RESTRAINED BY ANOTHER PIRATE CREW WITH A STRAW HAT"
