Arriving at Aryan's I parked my cherry red McLaren P1 next to a galaxy painted Ferrari and a blinding white 1953 Jaguar XK120. I wonder who else is here.
I walked to the door and knocked. Aryan answered in the most breathtaking dress. It was a high-low red dress that hugged every curve of her body. She wore matching heels but her hair and makeup was the same as before. It was a gorgeous dress on her. It didn't go unnoticed by me how well it hugged her ass perfectly. I followed her inside but once I crossed the threshold, a voice caught my attention.
"Well Jacetin has arrived and I haven't seen him in so long. So please excuse me." Adda said from the living room. I looked to the right and was greeted by a knowing smile.
"I know. She is gorgeous. I picked it out with the help of her grandmother." Adda said walking up to me.
"How are you here?" I whispered in her ear when she gave me a hug.
"You'll see. All will be explained soon." She replied cryptically.
I followed Adda and Aryan into the living room. I was surprised to see that only Aryan and I were dressed up. Everyone else was wearing jeans and t-shirts. I recognized Michel, his wife, Aryan, and Adda. I did not know who the young man, young woman in pink, and the other young woman with gray hair were.
"Jacetin you haven't formally met my wife Annalise who is a valkyr. Thomas, my son who is a demon like me. Then Kacy, Aryan's best friend and newly turned vampire, and Cassaraigna, or Cass for short, my mother." Michel said pointing to each person
"Cass as in the boltori Cass?" I asked in disbelief.
"Yes. Nice to finally meet you Jacetin Jasper. Adda here has told me a lot about you." Cass said with a giant smile.
"Nice to finally to meet you Cassaraigna. I've heard you have quite the reputation but I'm afraid that I do not know too much about you." I addressed Cass. Then I turned to Adda, "Can we please talk."
We walked out of the room and into what seemed to be the dinning room. Adda looked very sheepish because she knew exactly what I was going to say.
"In my defense, I didn't know that you were coming for dinner." she said quickly, "And I don't know why Aryan can even get into the castle. It must have something to do with the fact that she comes from a very long line of boltori."
"Addaonia, please stop reading my mind." I said in my mind, "Let me speak."
"Fine. You are no fun." she pouted.
"I'm not supposed to be fun. I'm going to be king remember? Now I need help getting the castle back to its former glory. Will you please help me?" I asked.
"No. Ask Aryan. I can't."
"Why not?" I asked baffled.
"BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN GO THERE. CURSTON REJECTED ME. SHE CHOOSE HER!!!" she said with tears in her eyes, "She is its savior. Not me."
"I'm so sorry Adda." I said hugging her. We stood there for a while while Adda calmed down. She explained a few things about Aryan's heritage. Surprisingly all the woman boltori are all from the same blood line.
"Now lets get back to the dinner." she said walking away and I followed. "Also fair warning, Azul's war has ended. He will come looking for his bride soon."
I feared this would happen. But what I did was to late to take back. I truly dreaded running into him again. He is going to kill me. But I will not go down without a fight. At least that's what I say now but being face to face to him makes anyone with the right sense of mind to bow down. Even my father does. Luckily I am on the very tip of insanity.
After Jacetin talked with Adda, the whole room erupted with noise as everyone started talking among themselves. Kacy wouldn't shut up about how gorgeous Jacetin is. Even Thomas kept adding to it. After an hour, dinner was finally served. Everyone took their place around the table and Jacetin just so happened to be seated across from me. By then I was annoyed beyond belief with Jacetin. My father could see my obvious dislike for the man. So he decided to do what he does best; he decided to question Jacetin and me.
"Hey Jacetin have you heard that the King's fight is over? He's coming back soon. Are you prepared to ascend the throne if he wishes?" my father asked Jacetin.
I seen him visibly pale at the mention of the king coming back. I was now intrigued who this king was because I know that his father was not a bad guy more like a giant teddy bear so it cannot be him. Then a thought popped in my mind about the tale of King Azul, the King of Kings. I shook my head to dislodge the thought because no one has seen him for hundreds of years. No one even knows if he is even real.
"Not really to be honest. But I have to be. Hopefully I wouldn't have failed him." he reply's nervously but his reply made no sense to me.
"Aryan, how has training been?" my father asked switching the conversation to me.
"Good but I don't have anyone to spar with since Maverick got his new job as CEO of Shadows." I replied sadly. I honestly missed seeing him every day. I plan to go see him this weekend.
"Jacetin, do you know Maverick? I know he was on the kings guard for a while."
"Yes I do. He is one of my best-friends. We trained till Aryan arrived." he replied while staring right at me, "I will be staying with him if I cannot find a place around here." I drop my fork when he says that.
"What about your old castle? I haven't seen it in a long time." my father asked him as he sent me a worried look.
"Adda and I put some spells on it that will take time to undo. Sadly, she can no longer get to Curston Castle."
"Hey Aryan, don't you go there?"
"Yes, dad." I replied.
"Well then it's settled, Aryan you can help him with the spells while you improve your magic skills." My father stated with a giant smile on his face full of mischievousness mostly directed at Jacetin.
"Dad, I've been trying to since I've found it. I cannot even get one book to budge!" I exclaimed now very pissed off since my father already knows my predicament with the castle.
"That's because you are missing me." Jacetin replied with an arrogant smirk, "Maybe we can work on 'things'. I would love to have you there." He put a piece of steak in his mouth as he winked.
"I'm never going back there again now." I said standing up and storming off to my room. I resisted the urge to puke.
