After her father left the office granting Sophia her much needed privacy. Sophia moved to take a seat in one of the chairs at the office. She couldn't read the letter while standing.

Opening the box with trembling hands,she was greeted with the sight of a well folded paper which Sophia identified as the letter.

She took out the paper but was surprised that it was not the only thing in the box. Inside the box laid a bracelet. Looking at it Sophia could tell that is was made from Jade. The bracelet was not purely white,it had a tinge of green on it.

Tiny fine crystal were embedded on it making it appear like it was glowing. She wondered why would her mother gift her such a bracelet.

Since pondering on the situation wouldn't give her the answers needed,she decided to open the letter and read it.

" My daughter,by the time this letter reaches to you,I will be gone already and you my daughter will have grown up as the most beautiful woman there is.

I would love to see how my daughter becomes once she's all grown up and ready for marriage. If I could only have all the time,I would love to dress my daughter at her wedding day and personally give her to the man of her choice. It is something I know that heavens can't grant me but nevertheless,I am happy I got to spend time with you as I watched you grow up. Marrying your father and giving birth to you though done out of selfishness is the best thing that ever happened to me. You my daughter made me experience how it felt to be called a mother something I detested since my existence. Although I did not get to spend alot of time with you,I am still happy that you and your father came into my life at my worst time and gave me solace and the energy to keep living.

I know you must be wondering why I say it was the worst time of my life? Ofcourse Ill tell you. During that time,I had been betrayed by the closest friend I had. Inorder to seek more power, she sold me off to the one's of my kind who had been looking for me.

As a demon,I was blessed with an essence that can control all the five elements. Yes, although demons are powerful creatures, they are giving limited power and each essence controls only one specific element. I on the other hand could control all the five elements easily. The realization was something that happened when I was at my teen years.

During that time,there was this prophecy that from a very powerful female demon,the savior of the world and Lucifer's mate will be born. The child born will control immense power and that she will be the one to break the curse bestowed on angel Lucifer.

The prophecy was clear but my kind wanted to acquire that essence to pride themselves in wielding unimaginable powers. Out of greed for power, they started searching everywhere with the intention of killing and absorbing the essence.

The only friend I had trusted with my secret by then did not bat an eyelid before snitching on me and my life since then was in danger.

They had lodged a sneak attack but I had managed to escape with the help of my brother. But before I left I did something unforgivable,I erased all of my brother's memories about me. That was the only way to remain safe. I made him forget all about his sister. He was the only family I ever had.

Escaping,I came across a dying girl. She was terminally ill and nothing could save her. I had watched her die helplessly and later burried her.

I then disguised myself as her and who would have thought that the same Human girl had been betrothed to the Grand Duke of Windsor kingdom.That is how I ended up marrying your father." Sophia's emotions were a rollercoaster now. She pitied her mother's miserable situation but also reprimanded her for taking the advantage of a dead girl to enter the palace. But who is she to judge her? wasn't she herself living a life that did not belong to her? Wasn't she here reading a letter carefully that was not made for her? maybe this body belonged to Sophia,the princess of Windsor kingdom but the soul belonged to another person. She herself was in no position to pass judgement on her mother's acts since she was doing the same herself.

" My daughter,I know by know you have realized who you are and the mission ahead of you. It is a tough and a painful mission to undertake but my daughter is strong and I know you can do it just fine. It doesn't matter how difficult and bloody the situation becomes, giving up is the last thing a demon will ever do. we never give up until we achieve what we want just like how I held on until you my daughter reached the right age to receive my essence.

You are half a demon, half an angel so your powers are ought to clash against each other so that I why I gifted you that bracelet. It will help you nourish your powers and cleanse the evilness in them. it is also helpful in breaking the seal bestowed to you. It is a magical gift I received from an angel that helped me supress the demonic scent in me. Since you are bound to break the seal and free your powers,don't forget that your demonic essence will start leaking and that can be dangerous."
