Rion Is Attending A Party After Six Years
Odette welcomed Rion into the room. Seeing Rion’s reddened eyes, she cupped the man’s face and asked what had happened. However, Rion didn’t answer, and he immediately hugged her tightly while crying in silence instead.
Feeling the man’s tears on her shoulder, Odette didn’t say anything. She just hugged Rion while patting his back. Rion returned after saying that he would meet with Duke Adhelard, so Odette was sure that Rion became like this because the man must have remembered about Lucas, and that memory made him feel guilty again.
After a while, Rion had calmed down quite a bit. He let go of his arms, and Odette immediately wiped the remaining tears on the man’s face.
“Do I look that pathetic?” he asked her.
“Absolutely not.” Odette took Rion’s hand and made him sit on the bed. Then, she poured water for him. “Drink to make you feel better.”
