An Ning's cheeks turned red, and she wrinkled her nose at him. "You're not being proper."
Yu Jingchen gazed at the small, angry face that seemed to rise out of the water on the screen, and his voice unwittingly became husky. "Did you just take a bath?"
An Ning didn't pick up on the unusual tone in Yu Jingchen's voice. "Yeah, I've felt so tired and listless all day."
Yu Jingchen asked in an even huskier voice, "Because you didn't sleep well last night?"
An Ning felt her ears heat up, and soon her whole body grew hot.
She cleared her throat. "Uncle, can you speak properly?"
"Heh..." Yu Jingchen chuckled. "I can. Then put your phone on the table, and you stand back."
Just thinking about such a distance made An Ning's cheeks burn even hotter. "Uncle, what exactly do you want?"
"I miss you, I want to get a good look at you," Yu Jingchen said with complete seriousness.
