It seems He Joined the Villain Side

"…May I ask why the Six knights are calling for me?"

"We will explain it to you in a moment. For now please follow me."

"Homeroom is starting,"

"Six Knights' business takes priority. Now follow me without another word."

With those final words, she began walking out of the room. Higashi exhaled a sigh before decidedly following suit.

The Six Knights are captains of six different clubs gathered together, and they have some authority over the school itself akin to the student council. He does not know how strong their authorities are, but he is still better off on their good side no matter how ones put it.

The two walked on for another minute. Soon enough they reached a nondescript room. Within said room, there were five other people. He assumes they, along with this Nanami, are the Six Knights of the school.

Some of them were familiar faces. There was Nanami who was the Archery club captain, then the Radio club captain, and their leader and strongest member, who is also the president of the student council if he recalls correctly.

"So this is the new candidate? He doesn't exactly look strong."

One of them opened his mouth. He was a tanned, tall and lean person. Higashi could see his muscles from the small amount of skin shown around the arm and legs. It was the Radio club captain. He was a third-year in the Beelzebub series, but it seems he was still a second-year for now.

"Now, now. No need ta start a fight so early in the morning. We're all just here to talk aren't we?"

Another was a handsome and sly-looking black-haired man wearing glasses, the leader of the lot. His impression of the man was that the four-eyes seemed like the typical leader who likes to mockingly act nice towards others. From what he remembered the man also has skills over Chinese martial arts.

Said person looked towards Higashi.

"I'm Izuma Kaname, the Student Council President and the captain of the Six Knight. Let's not beat around the bush here. You're actually called here since we want you to become one of our members."

He blinked. Becoming a member of the Six Knight, which are the enemies of the main protagonists of Beelzebub?

Hell no

Though it would be hard to reject these people without proper reason. He has to find an excuse, and with his 180 Academics finding one wasn't the most difficult of a quest.

"Doesn't one needs to be the captain of a club to join the Six Knight?"

"That's the thing. We would like you to join the track club and become its captain."

Track club huh… He can't remember any Anime about a track club, so he has no interest in joining in something like that. Besides sports won't exactly be fun to him anymore considering the gap between him and his peers.

"…I'll have to refuse."

"Oh? Any particular reason?"

"I have no particular interest in running. Stealing their leader spot from their member just for the hell of it does not sounds appealing to me."

Izuma looked puzzled for whatever reason. Higashi didn't bother himself with trying to figure out the thoughts of a minor antagonist, even if he was trained in face-reading. And yeah he was trained in perceiving emotions, it was something he was taught to by a friend of his.

"You don't like running? Then how'd you even get a time like 10.42?"

Oh right, There was something like that yesterday. Assumedly that is also the reason he gained the interests of Hiruma and the Six Knights in the first place. That also explains why they offered him the Track club rather than anything else.

He originally assumed it was because of how popular and general the track club is, but it seems he was simply forgetting the obvious.

"That's more thanks to my physical strength rather than any form of technique though."

"Pfft."

Another member of the Six Knight laughed mockingly at Higashi's words. Eh, maybe that was his fault considering his words could be registered as arrogance or boasting.

"I really don't like this kid. I won't agree to him joining the team."

"Now, please don't say that senpai. We simply need to recruit another member before the school year ends."

Izuma tried peacekeeping, but the third-year merely scoffed.

"One-on-one battle, him and I. If he wins I won't complain about him joining the team."

He opened the quest screen to see the content of the Beelzebub quest. The goal was simply to join the Six Knight. Well, there goes the idea of rejecting the team invitation. He still coould, but taht would mean a loss of LP.

"Senpai!"

Nanami spoke in a stern tone, most likely asking said senpai to not be so rash. However, Izuma merely sighed before he shook his head. It seems like they won't be covering for him this time around. That was fine really. To be honest, he has nothing to lose from fighting this rash senpai.

Actually it will be a precious real-battle experience which is only good for his growth. He still has woes about becoming one of the Six Knight, but if that was the system's will then, for now, he will play around its palm.

Following a short transition of sorts, the Six Knight and Higashi were now within a dojo. The rash senpai was wearing martial arts Gi. It seems like this third-year was the captain of either the karate or judo club. Things might be a bit troublesome if the man was a judo master. Defending against throws would be hard.

"I'll give you a free punch to the guts, freshman. You better do your best shot."

The nameless rash senpai provoked him. Higashi did not act politely and wound up his dominant arm back largely. This was a martial arts master so the man should survive even if he used his full power right? Besides he did not have any goodwill left for this senpai.

Higashi sprung his fist forward in a straight towards the guts. He felt a sensation of something cracking.

Did he break the ribcage… No wait, he aimed at the guts, at most the intestines would rupture. That was even worse than the bones cracking, but his point was the fact there should be no bones around the area he swung his fist at.

The nameless senpai fell backward from the force. However, strangely enough, he seems unharmed. Then what exactly did he hit just now?

Higashi caught a glimpse of something around the stomach area of the nameless senpai.

Could that be…

It seems Nanami-senpai was of the same opinion as she went ahead and opened the upper gi of the nameless senpai. They all could clearly see a sheen from the thin sheet that was broken beyond repair sitting on his stomach.

The nameless senpai had a thin metal sheet protecting his guts area.

And he broke that.

"…Ahaha, ya really ain't joking about are you?" Izuma made a dry laugh with tense expressions on his face.

Higashi did not expect his punch to be that strong either. If that directly hits the boy then ruptured organs would be a likely possibility. It seems he really can't go all out anymore in the future. Like, at all.

Still, his Physique stat is only at 180 right now, while his max is 500. Well, it's actually 600 but if he did that he wouldn't have the Enthusiast perk and cannot max the stat in the first place. Makes him wonder what kind of strength he could produce when the stat is MAXed. He knew he wouldn't be superman but maybe he could reach superhero-level one way or another.

"…Well, how ta put it… Welcome to the Six Knight, ah' suppose."

"I'm still not part of a club though."

"What ya sayin? Didn'cha just becomes the captain of the karate club by beating senpai?"

"…No way in hell I'm becoming the captain of the Karate club. Though my physique is off the chart I still don't like fighting."

"Sheesh, you sure make things complicated for us. Does that mean you reject becoming one of the Six Knight?"

Considering he could earn free LP by becoming one? He was actually fine with gaining some authority over the school. However, he would prefer to join a club based on some kind of anime. Haikyu, Major, or even Chihayafuru. Anything was fine long as it was interesting. He'll even take the friend-making club.

"…Before I make the decision, could you let me scout out the clubs first? There might be one I'm interested in."

"Hmm? If you want one with beautiful girls I recommend the soccer clubs. Their managers are quite something."

Nanami slapped the back of Izuma's head on that. Oh, so they were a slapstick comedy duo. That makes sense considering the two were probably childhood friends from what he could remember.

"Well, I am more concerned about the fighting spirit of the members."

The comedy duo turned towards one another before shrugging. They wordlessly pulled their hands back and—

"So, where do you want to go first?"

Nanami spoke while looking at him. She ended up losing the match and therefore the role of the guide was delegated to her. It was a nonsensical method to pick who was responsible for the task, but then again this was nothing but a minor task anyway.

"Well, what would be the most famous sports club?"

"That would be the Karate club you just rejected."

"…"

Well, whatever.

"Then the club with the most prestige whose captain isn't a member of the Six Knight?"

"Hmm, that's a tough question… Maybe the basketball club? They've been on a winning streak the last two years."

"Can we please check them out then?"

It was already after school, just in time for club activities. Nothing big really happened in class expect some people seemingly whispering about Higashi. It was most likely because his words towards Ebina Hina have spread.

That was troublesome but nothing he couldn't ignore, to be honest. High school drama was not his type of thing thank you very much. He will leave that to actual protagonists like Hikigaya.

The two walked on for another minute towards the gym which held the basketball court. The first thing that happened when he arrived at the destination was another quest.

"Oh? Who's ya bringing Nanami-san?"

A dak-haired glasses-wearing man spoke.

"…Izuma-senpai?"

"Pfft."

Nanami laughed at his words. Guess it wasn't Izuma then. But the resemblance is really uncanny to him. Besides he did not remember any character like the man before him in the Seirin team. However, the fact that there is a Kuroko no Basuke quest is undeniable.

"Nah, I ain't the student council pres. But I am the captain of the basketball club. The name's Imayoshi Shoichi."

Not a name he recalled. He took a look at the other members of the team before he evoked a certain memory. A rash-looking blonde and a tall brunette, along with this glasses-wearing captain.

They were members of the Aomine Daiki team.

…Well, looks like Seirin will be his enemy this time around. He already intends to join the Six Knights so adding even more protagonist as his enemy should be fine right?

"My name is Higashi Murasaki, a first-year. I intend to apply for this club."

Nanami looked towards him with piqued interest. The first-year said he wanted to choose a club to join, but she did not expect him to just join a random club willy-nilly without even seeing them practice.

"Are you fine with this?"

She asked.

"Yes. I just remembered that the next three years will be interesting for the Japanese high school basketball community."

"…And why is that?"

"Because the Generation of Miracle will be entering high school starting next year."

Considering the captain was only a second-year right now and he was a third-year in the Kuroko no Basuke series that meant next year will be the year where the members of Generation of Miracles splits up. Next year Aomine Daiki will enter this school.

It would be fun to have 1-on-1 with him.

Nanami Shizuka only shrugged in response to his words.

"Well, that should be fine. Remember though, if you want to become a member of the Six Knights you need to become the captain of a club."

He smiled. This should be fun.

"Then Imayoshi-senpai, I challenge you for the title of basketball club's captain."
