Hiratsuka-sensei has since gone out of the house. The whole thing was certainly a strange encounter but he honestly thought it was good engagement overall. He managed to become closer to Hiratsuka Shizuku through a conversation with her. Not a bad deal.

He wonders whether there are other anime characters in the school he studies in. Maybe he will meet some of his favorite characters. That would certainly be interesting. Considering the difference in settings though, it was probably impossible to meet anyone from worlds like One Piece or Fairy Tail.

No matter though, just having Hiratsuka-sensei as his homeroom teacher is more than fortunate enough for him.

The school comes tomorrow. Right now though he needs to grasp an understanding of his Gold Finger. And there might be an easy way to figure things out.

A status screen, something of a staple in both Japanese and Korean stories, especially those about VR or Isekai. Rather rare for a System-type story which is usually Chinese but nothing too out-of-the-ordinary.

As for the content themselves... the stats were all sky high with the exception of Visual Art and Musical Art, which are reasonable considering he barely learned anything about them excluding the school art class. Academic he assumes was that high because he got his high school diploma in the past. Literature being high was only fitting considering he liked writing a lot.

The physique should be higher if he has any say about it, considering he liked traveling a lot. Maybe this was about the physique of Higashi Murasaki rather than his previous body. That would certainly make sense.

As for Charisma, it was most likely the same as Physique. It seems like Higashi Murasaki lucked out with having a handsome appearance. He would say that handsome bastard should die, but Higashi Murasaki has died via suicide already so that would be in bad taste wouldn't it?

Finally luck… Was he really that lucky? …Actually yeah, he was that lucky.

Also, there is a relationship bar but nothing else. Guess this really is a Dating Sim system.

From what he can see the stats work base-20. Below 20 is Novice, there was Intermediate for 20-39 and Adept for 40-59. Wonder what comes after those though, maybe something like Expert? Considering the cap is 100 there should be three more levels he has yet to discover.

Assumedly the same works for relationships, just with different names. Considering the second relationship level is Acquaintance, the first level was most likely Stranger, and the next level was most likely Friend aka. Friendzone. He has no clue about the final three levels.

Considering he has 35 Affection with Hiratsuka-sensei that means he originally had 5 with her since he earned 30 Affection within the previous meeting. Guess they barely know each other before this, only connected by going to the same classroom.

His Academic was at Adept, not Intermediate thank you very much. Maybe there is a reward for reaching the Intermediate level, which is considered a milestone in this system. Considering the system seems to work on base-20 there will most likely be another reward screen after this for reaching the Adept level.

Anyway between Potential Growth or Quality increase he would say he prefers Quality increase. Since there is a cap limit of 100 the Growth Rate increase will become useless after he reaches the cap. The Quality increase however only becomes more useful the higher his original stats are.

Therefore he willed himself to choose the Academic Genius I perk.

That was something else. So now he can either increase his Quality by effectively another 50% or increase his growth rate by a full 100%. Now the tables have turned. Assuming this reward choice will come every time he changed his Academic level then he will have a total of +500% to spend on the two options.

Spending +500% on one while leaving the other at a base 100% would be inefficient compared to sharing the reward for both options. Therefore he needed to change the ratio to a more even number. He still thinks Quality is more important than Growth Rate, but now he needs to give at least 100% to Growth Rate since doubling Growth Rate is more important than increasing Quality by an extra 20%.

After all, if he already has +400% on Quality then adding another +100% will only result in a 20% net increase. Therefore he decided to have a Ratio of 2:5 for Growth Rate and Quality. Double his Growth Rate and quintuple his Quality, which sounds balanced.

So long story short he picked Academic Enthusiast I.

Next were more screens for the Musical Art Intermediate, Literature Intermediate, and Literature Adept level. He took Musical Art Enthusiast, Literature Enthusiast, and Literature Genius. And the final four screen for Charisma and Luck Intermediate and Adept. He took Enthusiast and Genius in that order for both cases.

Done with all that he inspected his stats once more. The concerning thing was SP which stood at zero and LP, which he gained twenty of after his relationship with Hiratsuka has raised a level...

He assumes SP stands for Stat Points and LP stands for Love Points for obvious reason. And assuming they are a form of usable currency then how was he supposed to use these points?

Well, only one way to find out.

Well, that was a long list. And they are all pretty expensive too for now. There were so many more skills to choose from below those like Instrumental, Fighting, and Lottery. There was even Sexual Act which cost an overwhelming 100 LP.

Strangely enough, everything has the word LOCKED beside them. He wonders what he will have to do to unlock them, and what kind of effect skills have. Does he simply gain knowledge from buying a skill? That would be a best-case scenario, but also utter bullshit. That would mean he can gain what others take their time to learn simply by the cost of LP. In other words, he can become a skilled master simply by constantly flirting.

He decided to leave the screen for now. He has no interest in the consumables. If only he could try to buy the skills and test them out…

Well, no matter. After all that there was the final topic to breach. The quest screen which was mentioned twice by the system. The first was something about a Level Quest while the other was an Oregairu Quest.

He gained a level, whatever that might have meant. Though it seems he was correct in calling SP stat points. Assuming they are the same as Unallocated Stat Points in games, then he should be able to spend them to increase his stats within a 1-1 ratio.

Ten points. He decided to spend them all on Physique. Mainly because he intends to see how useful these stat points are. Mental values such as intelligence or art can hardly be estimated, but the physical capability of a person was different. He can see how effective these stats are by simply using his body.

Oh. So the Enthusiast perk applies to SP as well, giving him double the benefits with SP. That was nice to know. With this he has a total of 50 Physique, reaching the Adept level with the stat.

He decided it was enough inspecting for now. The system seems simple enough from what he could see. Besides, it was clearly overpowered. He just gained this thing and now he has an effective Physique of 100, considering he has 50 with doubled effectiveness. That means his strength is currently at the human limit. If his technique was better he might have a chance at taking sports world records.

He shook his head and ignored that line of thought. For now, it was vital to find more information about Higashi Murasaki, so he decided to ransack through Higashi's room. For once even school was a problem, considering he doesn't even know its name.

Thankfully Hiratsuka-sensei was kind enough to lead him towards the location, so he doesn't have to search his school uniform on the internet. Though there was still the problem of not knowing any of Higashi's friends or teachers from school.

He checked the phone but there was no such thing as a group chat for his class. There was barely any backlog on his phone and there was no luck in earning information from them.

One message, in particular, was important though. It was from a woman named Kisaki Eri, and the content was simply the words 'Your credit card pin' followed by a string of numbers.

As someone who once randomly watches a dozen episodes of the Conan anime whenever he was bored, he knew what the name symbolizes.

The mother of Ran and former wife of Kogorou, a lawyer of sorts. Another anime character from a different series entirely. It seems he was transmigrated into a world where all kinds of anime were real. Not every anime though, that would be impossible considering the difference in basic world settings.

So at least he knows how to withdraw money, probably from his parent's inheritance. He wonders whether Kisaki Eri was supposed to be his legal guardian or at least beneficiary. Other than that there was not much luck in terms of information.

He can only hope Higashi was a quiet person who kept to himself. That would simplify everything by quite a lot. Rubbing his head, he exhaled another mouthful of air.

Now to wait for tomorrow to come.

After waking up he went ahead and helped himself a piece of bread with jam and a cup of water. That done he took a quick shower and changed into his school clothes. They were far more stylized than what he remembered school uniforms were supposed to look like.

He has suspicions considering anime high school uniform was also like such. Hopefully, he wasn't wearing cosplay clothes rather than his school uniform.

Soon enough he heard knocking on his door. So the teacher did keep her words to the student, it seems. He wordlessly went to the door and opened it without hesitation. On the other side of the door was the same figure he saw yesterday.

"You look stunning as always, sensei."

She scoffed at his words.

"Let's hurry up. Walking here took more time than expected."

Well, though she did not seem to care, it seems like she did not particularly hate his compliment either. That was nice to know.

She almost turned around, but stopped mid-way and faced him again, approaching closer to him.

"Your necktie is crooked you know?"

With those words, she went into his comfort zone and fixed his tie. He couldn't help but wonder whether this was a scene that would happen within a harmonious family. A wife fixing the tie of her husband sounds like a scene befitting of being cursed by losers in life all over the world.

In fact, just imagining the scene he couldn't help but think 'Winners in life should die' but then again it was happening to him right then and there, so he has no right to utter such words.

Done with the act she backed away from him.

He stared at her. He wonders what her intentions were, considering she did something very intimate just now. Was that accidental or on purpose? Was he reading too deeply into things?

"…What?"

He shook his head. If she did not find a problem with her conduct then so be it. It wasn't his style to involve himself with other's imperfections. In his opinion privacy is a thing that should be respected.

It seems she realized his thoughts though, as her eyes widened, her cheeks tinted with the color of a rose.

With those words, he began walking out from the door before closing it behind him and locking it with a key he tested the night before. Getting familiarized with a new home wasn't actually unusual for him, considering he loved traveling in his life. Well, in his previous life now, he supposes.

"Y-yeah."

The teacher and student duo walked to school together. Higashi did not know the path to school so he intentionally walked behind his teacher. He can't let her figure out he does not know the road. He can only hope she knows how to get to school from his housing area.

He idly wondered what will await him at the school. Will there be protagonists? Will there be Antagonists?

And most importantly, will there be heroines?
