The gymnasium was abuzz with anticipation as the National Basketball Competition commenced. Minori, gracefully navigating the crowd, exchanged pleasantries with Shou's parents, discussing their excitement for the upcoming game.

"Your presence here means a lot to Shou, Minori-san. We're truly grateful," Shou's mother said warmly.

Expressing her best wishes, Minori settled into her seat, engrossed in a conversation with Ryu, sharing the thrilling events unfolding before her. Unaware of the attention she attracted, her friendly wave to Shou was spotted by nearby spectators, eliciting an amused smile from Minori.

Shou, amidst his pre-game preparations, couldn't contain his joy upon seeing Minori's wave. His teammates playfully teased him about his seemingly uplifted spirits.

"Is that your crush? The one you're always talking about?" a teammate nudged Shou, noticing his brightened demeanor.

Following the game, Minori and Shou's parents visited him in the locker room, congratulating him on the win. Minori offered a bottle of water and encouraging words, leaving Shou invigorated for the next match.

Relaxing with his teammates afterward, Shou's attention was drawn to a girl waiting outside. Speculations flew among the team about a potential girlfriend, though Shou, caught off guard, was clueless about the visitor's identity. Stepping out, he found Ayaka standing there.

"Congratulations, Shou-kun," Ayaka greeted softly, her voice laced with a hint of sentiment.
